The shoes have a fantastic style; though wear out all too quickly

I returned these because they were too big and the heel was too wide for my narrow heal. I didn’t realize they were for skateboarding so maybe they would have been fine for that. I loved the style and the color and hope they make a more standard style in the same color and fabric.

I always buy size 9 for my son and it was always good. This time around when my son put it on, it was one size too large. I cannot even return it, because he lives in China now. :(

These shoes were pretty awesome, but after maybe 6 months of wearing them, holes developed by the base of the big toe on both shoes. Really disappointing. They also seemed a little narrow and uncomfortable at first, but after a few weeks of wearing them they finally broke in.

The base of the tongue was tight on the top of my foot. Very uncomfortable. Even after months of break-in, it never let up. However, its stylish and very durable.

These are way too narrow for my feet. I've never had a width issue before. Additionally, about after about 2 weeks of wear they started squeaking quite loudly with every step. Would not recommend, will not buy Vans again.

Bought these for my 13 year old son who had to have them for school shoes. I admit they look great, but after only a few weeks of use they were already coming apart at the seam between the canvas and rubber sole. This is the second pair in a row that did this, so I will never buy them again...especially for the amount of coin you have to give up for them.

Let me start out by saying I love these shoes. I currently have 4 pairs (different color combination). They have always been simple, comfortable, durable w/ good everyday styling. But, this last pair I got (Chukka Low Chris Pfanner gray/gum) fell apart after one month. The sole is wearing unusually fast. The back came unglued and I had to super glue them back into place. I don't skate, these shoes got very normal use. Going to work (I sit in front of a computer all day) or just walking around SF. Only difference I see between this pair and my other Chukka Lows are they're manufactured elsewhere. Maybe that has something to do with it, maybe not. Either way it's put some doubt in whether I'll ever buy these again.

I wanted to go up a half size from the size 9 Vans that I have now, but the size 9.5 was identical to the size 9.

These began to fall apart where the soles meets the rest of the shoe within a month.

Nice looking pair of vans but I have never had vans hurt my feet like these do. Most uncomfortable fit around the top of my feet. My feet are not wide and I wear these loose yet still there is something that compresses the top of my feet all day. I’ve literally been icing my feet at night because of them. Needless to say, I have to stop wearing them.

Ordered these for my husband who just wore through his last pair. These are not the same. They don't look the same, they don't fit the same and he can't wear them because they're so uncomfortable.

This is a unisex shoe but looks and feels more like a men's shoe. I was very disappointed with the look and the feel.

Super narrow! I get "board feel", but these are so tight I'd have to add a dangerous inch in length to fit into this shoe. This model has horribly thin insoles, even though Vans makes other nicer ones (Pop Cush, Ultra Cush, etc.)

Most uncomfortable shoes I have ever bought. Wore them once and cannot wear them again.

They suck

I used to own a pair of these and I loved then, so when they wore out I ordered another pair. This pair, however, is MUCH more narrow than the ones I had previously. I thought that all they needed was to be broken in, but NOPE. They squeeze my toe box and are EXCRUCIATING and so i comfortable. I subjected myself to awful foot pain for 4 days trying to break them in. I’m throwing them in the trash.

I love the way these shoes look but there are some problems. First off, they squeek like crazy and I sound like I'm farting when I'm walking. Secondly, they dig into the underside of my ankles making it extremely painful to walk around in these. I love the style but man are these just awful and uncomfortable to wear. I wish I could return them but I've already worn them around.

Very narrow, especially where the toe box meets the shoe.

These are the least comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Should've gone with New Balance 574...

Vans shoes are usually really good, but these were anything but. I noticed they were coming apart around the toe of one shoe. It looks like a sloppy gluing job. They were just plain defective. Had to send them back.

Really the most uncomfortable shoes I've had in a long, long time. You always think they're going to break in and feel better, but the sole must be made out of a board. No arch support. No comfort in the padding. I've already tried replacing the inside with Dr. Scholl's padding, but no help.
