I've had these for a week now. They're comfortable enough, but they've already started falling apart inside.

I love the style of these shoes but they make so much noise. Squeaking and flapping sound from the material bending at the top. I have bought this style before and never had this issue. I wonder if Vans has changed materials?

I like that it has very little arch support - that's why I bought skate shoes. It also looks very well crafted. In my 6 months of owning them, they have been very durable, though ripping from wear around where the rubber meets the fabric material. My biggest problem with these shoes is that they were uncomfortably narrow near the toes. They were the right length for my foot, but they would squeeze my toes uncomfortably. I would not buy them again for this reason, but still would consider this brand.

After wearing it for 4 weeks I can tell it is well made. 10.5 size fits my foot well though I would not buy it again because though it is the correct length it squeezes my pinky toes painfully into my other toe.

I have worn Ecco shoes exclusively for the last ten years: golf, dress and recreational. My new employer allows us to wear casual every day and I needed a pair of white and also black casual shoes. I did not want to spend all the money that Eccos would cost, so I opted to try the Vans Chukka low. While the toe box is smaller than my Eccos, the overall fit and color were what I was looking for. Unfortunately that is where the praise stops. The problem: these shoes squeak, and they squeaked from the first try. There is something about the material Vans is using in their insole. No matter what type of sock I wear, the squeaking noise continues, very embarrassing and annoying. Tonight I am going to try and find after market insoles that will hopefully not squeak.

These shoes are very puffy. The kids these days must want the tongue and uppers like over stuffed pillows. Weird. It makes the shoe look extra fat and your pants have to bunch over the top of the shoes. Comfy overall though pretty flat on the bottom with next to no arch support. Note the stuffing probably makes these shoes hotter than needs be. These were an immediate return for me.

I love how these look, they have a really great denim texture. The color is good, the fit is good, the way it wears however is not. The heel of the shoe is flimsy, if you're lazy like I am you can't just slide your foot into the shoe... There is also no loop on the tongue of the shoe, so the tongue moves from side to side and does not stay centered on your foot. It needs constant readjusting throughout the day. It could have had more padding. They are nice and I don't regret the purchase but I would not buy again.

I really like the look of these shoes. They have a smoother, slightly bouncier step, which is good compared to most Vans that are a bit flat/clunky. The only complaint I have, is that the shoe lining wears down rather quick.

The shoe looks great and was comfortable but the sides started to peel where the shoe bend after only a few times of wearing. If you have large feet I wouldn't recommend this exact shoe, there probably would not be a problem with a smaller footed person.

Good shoe but I should have gotten ones with canvas inside. The material is suede-like and always pulls my socks down into my shoe. Didn't know that could happen! Because of that, I haven't worn them much.

My husband saw these and loved them. I got them for him for Christmas and they are too narrow. He has super long and skinny feet, so we were both shocked that the toe box was too tight for him. He loves Vans and has been wearing them since he was a scrawny little skate-punk. This is the first pair that he has ever had that felt too tight across the toes.

Wasn't as good as I expected. the bottom "ring" will easily get dirty and look a weird light grey color that makes the shoes look cheap. Oh well. They fit well at least.

I buy these for my son, he is either very rough on shoes or they just don't last very long. He goes thru a pair about every 4 months.

If you are used to standard suede Vans, these canvas shoes will fit a bit differently and be a lot heavier than what you are used to. They are narrower than other styles and seem to weigh much, much more than what I have been used to in other pairs of Vans that I have worn over the years. As I walked, the canvas also made a strange sound when the material would bend and then unbend. I am a big fan of Vans, and I have been wearing them almost exclusively for the last 15 years or so, but these are heavy, oddly shaped and noisy. I sent back immediately.

They feel a lot smaller than their size and are narrow across the front of the foot. Buy one size up at least in my opinion.

These shoes were a bit narrow and seemed to have a bit of a thin sole. I've had lots of Vans and these were on the bottom of the list for comfort. Maybe I'm just getting old. :)

Outsole seam is across the ball of the foot, so it's narrow and stiff where it needs the most flex. They hurt your feet.Wish I'd returned them in time.

I was baffled how these Pop Cush insoles made my feet kill right from the start. Then I compared to my Kyle Walker's Pop Cush insoles. What the heck, these are half the height of the Kyle Walker's! Only way to wear these is to use my Kyle Wakker insoles, Ridiculous.

Look awesome. Horrible fit. So tight in toe bed to the point I can't even walk around in my house with them on.

Bought a pair in brown with gum sole. Right shoe is tighter than left near the pinky toe so it's too uncomforable to wear. Never had this issue this bad with other Vans. Tried a couple days of wearing them to the office, but couldn't keep doing it. Didn't see the tongue was padded until I got it, but not a deal breaker.

These were a bummer as the sole completely separated from the upper. They lasted less than 6 months and their only job was to walk dogs.

Uncomfortable at the front of my feet (between my toes and arches. The anatomically correct word is being filtered as inappropriate.... C'mon guys....) I wear these sneakers all day at work and they're reasonably comfortable. I'm a long time wearer of Vans and I had the Chukka low in years past (without the pop cush insole) and these are definitely less comfortable at the baseballs of my feet than they used to be. There's some zig zag stitching under the insole and I'm not sure if it's the cause or not but overall I wouldn't recommend these if all of them are like this.

The upper material is so stiff that I had to break them in like a dress shoe. Multiple blisters later they are now just beginning to get comfortable. To be honest I should have returned them in the beginning and purchased a pair of Converse instead. I've owned Vans before but never had this much difficulty.
