Coming from a history of Lakai ever since I was a 6 year old, I had some high expectations. Lakai shoes are high quality and a lot of my friends said Vans wouldn't meet my expectations. But these shoes have met and gone beyond them. I bought a pair of the red cardinal spitfires, with the red laces. They are amazing shoes and are just as good as my Lakai guy high xlk. They even look better! So, yes, I would definitely buy these shoes if you are looking for a good looking shoe and great skateboarding one.

The only problem with these shoes was that they tend to open up at the top, making it hard to find laces long enough to keep them closed.

These looked great online but I was blown away when I opened the box. I haven't had a pair of Vans since I was a kid; I forgot how comfortable they are! Will be buying more in the near future! Fast shipping, great price...what more could you ask for!? A++ all around!

I've had my one pair of chukkas for about 2 1/2 years now and I am definitely buying a new pair for the upcoming school year- they are super comfortable and durable, my old ones I have are still wearable and have yet to fall apart after being worn every day in all weather conditions throughout the years. They look good on just about everyone and I would definitely recommend these; they're the most comfortable style of Vans I've ever worn!

These shoes are awesome! This is my second pair, and they feel great. Love Vans and love Zappos for a great deal.

Very nice shoes-- look very good, but I did get white so they got pretty dirty after a while, but they're canvas so you can just throw them in the wash and they come up looking real new again-- overall, a good stylish shoe.

Arch support is a little limited, but overall these are very comfortable and stylish. I have gotten lots of complements from friends and colleagues. Highly recommended.

The shoes I ordered came so fast it was scary! Shoes look great (just like the picture), are comfy, and great to skate in. I will definitely be buying another pair when these wear out.

My 17 year old son absolutely loves these. They came with two sets of shoe laces: black or white. He ordered primarily for the style of the shoe and previous satisfaction of other Vans shoes purchased.

Thank you Zappos for helping my son and I find shoes that he likes and fits but most of all that are in Style. My son is only 14 years old but is 6'3", size 16 shoe. One more thing - thank you Customer service. You guys rock!

I ordered these for my teenage son in several colors. He wears them every day and is very happy with them. They look very nice, and he said they are very comfortable.

Great looking shoe. As is typical with Vans, the sizing is larger than marked. Zappos' customer service rocked and got the correct size out to me ASAP.

Classic look and style, goes with just about anything! Everyone says "wow those are nice." If you plan on walking all day though, you might want to wear something different, not much padding and the sole is kind of hard, but other than that I really like them.

My son loved these shoes in blue so much that he wore them for his high school graduation! Very cool and super comfy!

This shoe has lasted me over 3-4 months now and still looks brand new. And I skate almost everyday. This was definitely worth it. Plus there's no holes and they still feel good. One of the really good shoes I've had that are Vans. Thanks Zappos.

These shoes were purchase for my son to wear through out the Summer. He loved them from the beginning, but did need some breaking in. Like all Vans there is 0 to none arch support

These are really confortable shoes. Good support and at th same time flexible. Highly recommended.

These were probably one of my favorite skate shoes. They still haven't gotten a hole in them and I do a lot of flip tricks. If you like comfort and stability, these are for you.

This is one badass shoe. It is totally jamming on the one. On the anarchist tip for sure. I love... no no... I do love my Vans.

Man, these shoes right here are made for comfort. They are much more comfortable than the original Vans.

Great, classic summer shoe. Light padding in the tongue and around the edge, but not so much as to make it a bulky shoe. Only complaint is Van's doesn't have a half size for those of us in between a 12 and 13. Zappos = consistent top-notch service. Customer for life.
