These Naot shoes are very comfortable. Great for just 'being about' and so easy to slip on and off. Will wear these when doing ANY air travel. As usual Zappos service is second to none. Absolutely no negatives whatsoever.

Such a cute shoe! I'm so disappointed they didn't work for me. The toe ring was just too large and painfully rubbed my second toe. In every other respect, this was one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn. The cushy foot bed, the heel height, the style were all perfect. I wear a 7 and 1/2 and ordered 1/2 size up. The 8 fit perfectly. So sad they didn't work out for me.

I bought the Montreal (in golden mocha) due to descriptions of its orthotic foot bed. I'd never spent so much on a sandal, but after having plantar fasciitis (helped greatly by Dansko clogs), I had to try them. I normally wear an 8.5, so I ordered a 39. I felt that my heel was almost edging over the back, so I exchanged them for a 40. This turned out to be too long, so I tried another 39 and they are just right. I have a high arch, which is supported well, and a high instep. The strap across the instep is a little tight, but there is a bit of elastic in the strap, so with more wear, I'm sure they will be more comfortable. Most sandals rub on my littlest toenail and I love that these don't. The color is a bit metallic, with red in the flower cut-outs. Cute, comfortable, expensive! (The removable footbed is great in theory, but I don't see how it could be removed without taking the toe loop apart.

I was so sad these did not work out for me. They are so cute. I agree with the other review, my foot arch is too high and these felt tight across the top despite the elastic. The toe ring is also too big. Too bad, I will try another pair of Naot.

This was a really comfortable shoe, and I loved the style. The only problem, which was the reason I returned them, was that the footbed sort of curves up at the sides, and my toes felt squinched. It may have resolved itself in time, but I didn\'t want to take the chance. Great arch support.

These fit better than the Dorith (which ran too narrow), but the part that goes over the big toe was clearly going to take a lot of breaking in to be comfortable. I don't mind stuff between my toes - my go-to shoes are Birkenstock Gizehs - but this was a bit too much. I need/want my shoes to be comfy pretty much off the bat, so back they went.

These are cute but don't work for me. They seem very narrow and I have a high arch. The strap over the top does not have very much give. Back they go!

Very cute but they fit funny. I do have short toes, but my big toe doesn't even show through the toe strap. The shoe feels like it fits otherwise. I looks odd.

This is a cute casual shoe that fit well. However, the very stiff leather made it uncomfortable and is the reason for my return.

These look great but feel awful! Naots have traditionally been great sandals but these are stiff and rub in all the wrong places. I have a medium foot, could almost wear a narrow. These were tight! Very uncomfortable!

I wear a solid size 8 Naot sandal. These were difficult to get on and didn't feel very comfortable around my toe. Sending back for refund. First Naot I bought that isn't totally awesome.

This was not a comfortable fit. I am a true 10, and although the length of my foot matched the shoe, my big toe only slid halfway in the toe loop, making it rub uncomfortably. This did not allow my foot to extend to the end of the shoe, leaving the back of my foot hanging over the back of the shoe. Possible if you have very long toes and shorter feet? Back it goes.

Toe area is not very wide and rubbed a blister on the top of my toe. Also the instep strap is tight, making it difficult to push your foot a the way up. Hoping with wear the leather will stretch somewhat!

Cute sandal but could not wear them at all. My big toe seems to not be big enough for the toe ring part. If these can fit your foot, would look great - but not so for my foot.

This shoe looked better on my foot than I thought it would, and it is well cushioned with good arch support. But, it was a bit long at the front of the shoe and unfortunately, the band across the top of my foot was way too tight. The way the elastic is designed into the band, it will not be pretty if it stretches out too much, so these are going back.

Everything about this shoe is great, except the band that goes over the foot. It is too tight. I would have given it 5 stars overall had it not been for the discomfort.

I ordered these shoes last year. I love everything about these shoes except the toe ring...those are quite tight and after so many months of wearing it, it still chafes at my skin. Otherwise, the arch support is excellent and I like the overall look of it.

I usually love Naot shoes, but am returning these sandals.Toe area was uncomfortable. Stitching on sole was very scratchy and sure to cause a blister.

I'm curious why there are no reviews posted since 2012. I have purchased 3 pairs of the Naot Montreal. The shoe fits well and wears well. I don't think I could find a better shoe for my planter faciatitis. The first 2 pair lasted for years and years with almost daily wear. The last pair fell apart in 1 year. I'm going to order again and give it a try. The first two pair were purchased around 2010 to 2012; the last pair was 2016. I'm SO hoping that Naot hasn't outsourced to China, creating very inferior product. It could be nothing but a coincidence that there are no reviews posted since 2012 and my experience (excellent vs. substandard) coincides with the timeline (excellent reviews vs. no reviews). Surely Zappos wouldn't sensor reviews?! Stay tuned ... I will rate the new pair!

I really liked the style of this shoe. I ordered the brown when it became available in my size which is an 8. However, I can usually wear a medium sandal, but not in these. They were way way too narrow. I wish Naot would make their sandals in wide also or at least be like the alegria. The alegria will accommodate a wide foot. I like the style of the naot but they are too narrow in the width. They are really missing out on a larger part of the market share by not making wide shoes. That goes for all shoe manufacturers. Unfortunately I had to return this sandal.

I ordered these a size up from what I usually get, but the strap over the arch was so narrow, I couldn't get my foot down into the toe loop. I was really disappointed because they're exactly what I'm looking for, style-wise, but I couldn't get them on. I had to return them. If they had been a tad wider, or if they had an adjustible strap over the arch, they would've been perfect.

The Montreal was very cute in the photo, but turned out to be a disappointment when it arrived. The toe loop of the sandal stood up almost a half an inch beyond the top of my toe. This looked very odd, almost as if it is a flaw in manufacture - perhaps the toe loop had been stretched out or cut too large. Additionally, the top band was positioned too close toward the ankle and was too tight across my high instep and had no elastic to provide any give and very uncomfortable.
