I have two pairs of these shoes. They fit perfectly until my feet grew (pregnancy, but stretched out and again feel great). They hold up well except that on my first pair the footbed is curling up a little in back. This is after A LOT of wear. They are extremely comfortable. These are my favorite everyday cute and functional shoes.

The Montreal is a very comfortable walking shoe. The band around the big toe is comfortable as well. I would say the width runs medium to wide. I wear size 34 (not an easy size to find) with a narrow heel and wider across the ball of my feet. The Montreal looks much nicer on the foot than what the picture shows!

I have worn Naot shoes for over ten years. I am diabetic and my feet are very sensitive. They hurt every day and have bad legs. If I didn't have these shoes I would not know what shoe I could wear. They are by far the most comfortable and I probably have 15 pairs. Thank God for these shoes.

I haven't really started wearing these shoes yet. I bought them to take on my vacation to FL. I love Naot shoes and Zappos! I have a few other pairs of Naot shoes. I have found that the shoes feel good right out of the box. My feet do not hurt after a lot of walking because the shoes provide such good support. My friend suggested I try Montreal. She has worn this shoe for several years and she will buy them again. I have foot problems, have had surgery on my foot, and these shoes feel good.

I have all sorts of foot and leg problems from various accidents; these are the most comfortable shoes and the most feminine and attractive I've found. Favorites! All leather shoes stretch out a bit so if they are slightly snug (but the correct length), keep them.

Best combination of comfort and appearance - This shoe is the best-looking shoe for the comfort I've ever worn. I have miscellaneous undiagnosed foot problems, but this shoe feels great, while looking really stylish. I agree it runs a tad small -- if in doubt, order a size larger. Also I initially ordered the tan color, but it is a much less rich color than it looked on my screen, so I switched to black, which is great. I highly recommend, and Zappos is wonderful. I sent in the e-mail order for the new color at 8:00 pm and had the shoes the next day.

I was looking for a comfy casual shoe that wasn't black so I tried the beige snakeskin in size 41. (I normally wear a 9.5) It was comfortable but, It was a little long for me. I'm afraid if I get the 40 the toe ring will rub against my toe as it does a little in the 41. At any rate, it's going back. I still give it 4 stars because it's a very nice shoe.

I have worn this shoe for over five years and love it, however the one I just receive is short and my heels rubs. I am hoping that after I wear it several times the leather will give and feel as nice as my old ones did. I purchase two pair and they both fit the same.

Had to get smaller size. Then hurt my toes. Loved the look. Just not for my feet.

I have this shoe style form several years ago, and I was looking forward to having another pair. However, there is a seam edge overlap that leaves a rough spot that rubs my heel. other wise love this shoe and the Naot brand.

My feet are narrow at the heel and wide at the toes. The front of my feet are too wide to fit comfortably in these. They were very comfortable otherwise, but have to return.

I have a pair of Naot sandals with the same type of heel and can stand and walk for 12 hour days- and look fashionable. On my foot, the toe strap was big and made the shoe feel loose. The footbed fit- so I guess it is not a match for me. I will keep looking to find that perfect Naot sandal to replace my very worn ones.

I have loved my Naot Monterey sandals -- very similar. The Montreal has a tiny bit more "refined" heel and tooling on the leather. On this shoe, the leather is stiff, and my high arch plus high medial cuneiform bone don't allow it to slide in without adjusting. A more secure fit once pushed on, but less comfortable. Probably not ideal for narrow feet.

These sandals are beautiful but fit differently...a little short, a little snug..just not comfortable. Also they don't have an arch that will stop my ankle from pronating. The insole is well cushioned.

Mixed reviews about this shoe. They're very comfortable to stand in. Excellent cushioning in the footbed and worked very well with my wide foot and high instep. I almost returned it for two issues though. First the strap that goes around the big toe is huge and hits in the wrong place. It chafed on the inside of the toe and yet gaped on the other side. The inside of the upper strap where it is elasticated chafed the foot. After walking for just a few minutes my feet was sore. I taped moleskin onto the shoe in both areas and it seemed to work well. Other reviews made me think that I'd be able to use these shoes for traveling, sightseeing etc. But walking a couple blocks is about the most I'm willing to do in these. Shame because they are very cute.

When I first opened the box my reaction was that the shoe looked different than it did online. It is brighter copper in color, not as dark as it appears in the picture. Also, it is very much a stretch/snug fit shoe, which I didn't expect. That said, they are cute and pretty comfortable so I decided to keep them. They feel a little short, such that I can feel the seam around the edge of the insole at the back of my heal. I haven't worn them enough to see if that goes away with time but I am hoping they will stretch with wear and the seam will no longer be touching my heel. Naot is a very good brand, so I expect them to break in and wear well. Otherwise they seem comfortable at first wearing, not pinchy but snug enough to feel secure. I will wear them to work and on weekends.

I think maybe my feet are slightly too wide. I wore them in the house a couple of days but they were not quite comfortable. I have decided to return them.

Very comfortable, looked casual nice, and stayed on foot very well. But my usual size 38 was too long so it looked like I was wearing boats. Sent back.

I consider myself a very easy fit for most shoes. I have successfully ordered many pairs from Zappos. These were the first pair that are so narrow I could not begin to put my foot into them. They were intended for a European trip -- will have to go back to Clarks.
