I almost kept these, but my protruding ankle bones didn’t like the feel of being confined. I opted for a whole style instead. But these were comfy out of the box aside from my ankle issue (which I believe is me and not the boot.)

We usually buy these at Nelson's Shoes in Oroville CA. Love these. Light, waterproof, and comfortable. Good arch support.

Took these boots on a 7 mile hike for the first time and had no issues. Also have worn them in the snow and my feet have stayed warm and dry. Great purchase.

Love these boots! I normally wear a 6.5 but I sized up to a 7. Fit perfect with my thicker hiking socks.

After purchasing my initial pair of Chocuras ( about 10 years ago), I could not resist purchasing 2 other pairs as sales came along. Didn't know how long they would last or if they would be changed or discontinued (as often happens with things we love).
Am alternating wearing all 3. Always have a pair in the car, one at the farm, and one clean and dry. As others have stated, they are comfortable straight out of the box. One does need to occasionally treat with waterproofing and , if your wading water, wear your smart wool, because yes, you'll probably get damp feet. They are great otherwise. Great toe protection too.
My first pair finally detached at the heel while I was toeing them off one day. After 10 years and being kept in a hot car/garage, etc., not too shocked. Just glued them back together. Otherwise still in great shape. Please do not change these.

These are terrific hiking boots. The tongue and uppers are flexible, so I can scramble up canyon walls in these. I have a narrow foot and these boots fit perfectly! The ankles in the boot are stable, but not stiff. I wore these directly out of the box on a 5 mile walk. Perfect.

I bought these exact same boots in 2010, took them on many many miles of hikes and backpacking trips, all types of weather from scorching hot to blizzards, and didn't need to replace them until now in 2021. Best boots I ever owned. There's virtually no difference between the pair I bought in 2010 and this pair I just bought, just going to show "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." 100% would recommend.

This purchase replaced my original Timberlands of same type from 15 years ago! The shoes have not worn out despite medium use over the years- admittedly there were times I hiked more than others. I replaced them as I have plantar fascitis and am updating all my footwear. My new shoes are amazing, support my feet without additional insoles and fit perfectly. I wish I would not have wait so long to replace them!! This shoe has not gone the way of many others with cheap reproductions of the original product. These are well made and I believe I will get an additional 15 years but will not wait so long to replace them.

This is the third pair we have bought for our daughter. She received her first pair for her 6-week geology field camp in Ireland. It rained all but 3 days that they were there. She She was one of 2 campers that had dry feet the entire time. In addition to the rain, they also did extensive work in wetlands and bogs. She is now a certified geologist and works in stream restoration. She refuses to wear any other boots (besides hip waders) when out in the field. When she was a TA in grad school she recommended these to all of her field camp students. My husband, son and son-in-law all own pairs.

I love these boots. I suffered from severe tendonitis and these boots are the only thing that felt good. They are great for hiking, working outdoors, and casual wear. The only thing I have an issue with is the toe separates easily from the top of the boot. Am on my third pair, and plan to continue buying them in the future!

Totally love Timberland boots. As my 10 year old pair asked for replacement, I was not able to find any alternatives elsewhere that would look as comfortable, solid and stylish to me for same price. After first half an hour wear, fees like a glove!!!

I bought these boots when I used to live in Dubai cause I was going to Seattle for the first time and intended on going hiking. Well, the hiking was canceled but these boota became my most favorite shoes ever. I ended up moving to Portland, OR and I wear these all the time now. Still as comfortable as the first day, still gorgeous. My dog just ate the back of one of them the other day and I literally cried. I WILL BUY THEM AGAIN.

I've hiked in the product and liked it so much I bought two more pair just to be sure that didn't go out of style when my first pair wore out. Would love this in black with some thinsulate.

These boots are fabulous. Good support and tracking for hiking on all terrains. This is my second pair. My first pair lasted me longer than what I can remembermore than five years, for sure. Closer to ten.

I use the boots for hiking in the mountains. They provide stability to my ankles and I love the arch support. They are one of the few boots or shoes that I have found.

These are the best hiking boots I have ever owned. I love that they are gortex so I can hike through streams and my feet stay dry. Their weight is light enough for long hikes, and stable enough for rough terrain.

I'm a sold size 9. Always have to size down to 8.5 for boots. And I did so with timberland boots comfortably. This style is just right!
