Love these shoes! I bought the metallic ones first, loved them so much I got the black ones too! Very comfy!! Really cute! I teach school, we have 'restrictions' on footwear, and these fit the bill. Great support, stylish, kinda pricey… but worth it.

Comfort AND Style - I love these sandals. I bought the brown ones for a vacation and am tempted to buy the black ones, too. They were comfortable right out of the box, even after a whole day of walking. I would definitely buy shoes from J-41 again.

Don't order up a size in these! If anything, they run a smidge large. I have other J-41's and wear a 9 in all of them. These are a bit roomy in a 9 but the ankle strap seems to help. They were a little stiff for me at first but I've been able to break them in. There is no arch support but they sure are a cute style.

Stylish and comfortable - Love these shoes! They are extremely comfortable and look great. True to size. Bought the brown, hoping that I can get black in my size when they are back in stock.

J-41 - I haven't been able to wear them out due to weather even in South Texas...only in the house...they seemed about a half size too long but I will keep them...seemed a little uncomfortable at first but I need to get used to wearing sandal-like shoes again...these will go with pants and skirts...nice combination of colors...

I Love Zappos!!!!! Ordered these shoes on Sunday. Received on Tuesday and wore to work on Wednesday. They didn't need a break in period. Very comfortable and very cute. Bought black and brown. I love Zappos!

True to size! This is such a cute pair of shoes and I'm so disappointed! After reading several reviews of J-41 shoes, I came to the conclusion that this brand runs small. Was I ever wrong! I ordered this shoe in a 9 even though I usually wear an 8. It's huge. It must go back and I don't believe that they currently have my size in stock. Don't make the same mistake that I did. Order your true size!

I wish! I love the look of these shoes, but they ran just a bit too small, and rubbed the knuckle of my big toe and the inside of my heel. If I had had a couple of days to wear them around the house, I'd probably have kept them, because they look and feel great -- lots of support and the kind of stiff sole that I like for walking. But I'm off on a trip and couldn't spend this much money for shoes that weren't just right, right out of the box.

Nice shoe! They are very cool shoes, and are comfortable. I did have some rubbing at my heel initially, but once broken in they are very nice. The velcro strap gets in the way of just being able to kick them off, but they look great!

Great for a flat... But really a little too flat for me. I could use more arch support. And I did have to use a shoe stretcher on the right shoe to get the toe box wide enough for my feet, something I prefer not to do, but I do have a small bunion. The heels are a little rough on the skin, but that goes away quickly. I absolutely love the look of the shoe though. Very cute. And although some other reviewers found that it ran small, I did not. The length is perfect.

A "Keeper" Flat - In a flat shoe, I need a 10-1/2 but that is next to impossible to find. When I read reviews on this J-41 running a half-size large, I took the chance of ordering the size 10 and it fits my 10-1/2 size feet!! The shoe is really comfortable to wear with skirts, shorts, jeans, slacks, you name it. I did have rubbing in spots to contend with but after wearing the shoes a few times with band aids in the needed spots, they broke in fine. The ankle strap is darling and I've had several compliments on the shoes. I now own three pair in this style and they are my summer workhorses when I want a more feminine look. Yes, my feet still look big in these shoes because they are a big size, but I'm comfortable in these shoes and have the coolness of a sandal. I love my J-41 Escapades!

I was hoping to get a comfortable shoe that was somewhere between a snicker and a sandal. Judging by the picture I thought this was it. Unfortunately, my foot is too narrow and this shoe looks clunky and too roomy, although the length is perfect. The padding and arch support are great, but the rest too big for me to enjoy. This is a nice sporty little shoe, but it not sexy as some stated before me.

Escapade - Although this shoe is meant for outdoor activity, it looks like the perfect ballet flat (in black). It is feminine and lady-like, and goes with dresses and skirts, as well as the trail. Love this versatility. With pants you can't see the ankle strap so they really look like a ballet flat. Standard flats are solid over the toes but these are somewhat open with the straps and that looks even prettier to me. I found one shoe fit a little wrong, so I ordered a second pair to compare and they fit perfectly. Being used to the superior clog-base comfort of Danskos, I would like more padding under my feet. I have narrow heels but wide base-of-toes area and these fit great. My normal size fit. The cute looking J-41 Sandy wasn't as comfortable due to the top straps rubbing.

Very cute shoe - I bought this shoe for travel and so far so good. I can wear them for touring during the day and wear them at night if I want to be more dressed up. I haven't worn them for long periods of time but they seem fine. I did take the precaution to stick some mole foam around the back to prevent chafing. I think I'm going to enjoy these shoes very much because they are so versatile.

My little black shoe!!! I adore these shoes! Can't wait ‘til spring to wear them with capris, even cotton skirts. What a sexy little shoe. Who would have thought? I did go with a size larger than I normally wear because they are a little pointier than what I normally wear.

On The Right Track, But Needs More Work - I'm keeping these shoes in spite of the fact that they have numerous problems because I want to do anything in my power to encourage shoe manufacturers to embrace the trend of merging sports shoes with dress shoes. I bought a pair of these in the metallic. They are dainty looking on the foot, go with everything in my wardrobe except my ball gowns, and offer superior support and traction over any sandal or flat that I own. The lining is even semi-absorbent to combat perspiration of the foot on hot summer days. They are perfect for errands around town, walks in the park, touring, and dinner out. So what's the problem? First of all, this shoe runs 1/2 to a full size too small. If you get the shoe too big, it'll rub your foot more and your toenails will catch in the weave as you walk. The ankle strap is dainty and secure, but it takes a little getting used to. The most important problem is that the leather isn't soft enough. It rubbed my pinky toes raw and I'm having to break these shoes in with strategically placed band-aids. If these shoes were about fifty dollars cheaper, I wouldn't utter a single complaint, but if a shoe requires significant time to break it in, one shouldn't be charging this price for it. So, this is a shoe with mad potential and if you're only buying it for light use, you won't have any reason to hesitate, but J-41 needs to work a little harder on this design.

Cute Shoe - I bought the metallic version of this shoe. It is super cute and goes with everything. It is comfortable, but not much arch support so I wouldn't recommend wearing it if you are going to be walking a lot or standing on your feet all day.

Great Look - These are the cutest shoes, but unfortunately my feet are the most sensitive and I couldn't wear them for too long without getting sore. I did get lots of approval for the look. I was hoping to have a sightseeing shoe for Southern France but that didn't happen.

Still waiting for them to break in... These shoes are very cute and have nice arch support for a flat. The fit felt right; however, after a full day of wearing them at work they scraped & rubbed my feet raw in two places -- up by my outer toe on one foot and my outer ankle on the other. I waited a few days to try again with band-aids in those spots that worked o.k. Since then I've tried wearing them to work two more times and they still hurt in the same spots. My feet are a wreck when I get home. I'm going to keep trying; I still think & hope that they will eventually break in.

Cute, but didn't fit - Cuter in person than in the picture. Soft inside and I really liked the tread. It was about a half-size too large in the 6.5 and doesn't come in the 6.

Great looking flat - Loved the metallic though they seem to run a little bigger than normal. My feet are wider than "B" so my reg. size seems to accommodate for the width. Wore these shoes to a major 3 day festival and did not suffer any break-in period. were comfortable from the moment I put them on.

Great dress flat - This attractive metallic colored flat received many compliments. My wide foot looked graceful. The arch support is minimal. It is a comfortable dress flat good in the summer heat, not intended for a full day of sightseeing, but good dancing shoes, dress shoes, party shoes with nonslip bottoms and protection for the toes.

Cute shoe, needed some breaking in - At first the shoe felt extremely comfortable, but as I wore it, the heel and the inside strap by my big toe began to rub my foot raw. I bought it thinking it was true to size, but it ended up being a little big lengthwise. I think if I had bought it a half size smaller it would have been too narrow. Very cute though, and now that they are broken in, very comfortable.

STYLE AND COMFORT - This style of J-41's is not as comfortable as my more casual Sidelines which I wore for the first time all day at Disney World. They are great shoes.

Escapade - I usually wear a 5 51/2 to 6, depending on brand, ran a little long for 6, but not enough to be unwearable. Very cute for casual rugged shoe. Love it.
