Great walking sandal - I ordered these shoes to wear while on a trip to Eastern Europe in the Fall. They rubbed a bit at first, but are fine now and will serve me well on my trip. I have had many comments on them - all favorable. They look far better than regular walking shoes, yet offer good support and comfort.

Cute slightly funky - After reading reviews I decided to order the 7, although I’m a 7.5 now after I had a baby, and it fits perfect. Only bummer is the left shoe seems kind of irregular, like the upper is slightly crooked, making the shoe fit tighter and the straps end up hurting a little, but after a few wears I think it'll be fine. But the right shoe is PERFECT and if it weren’t for the left, I honestly feel like I could walk miles in these shoes. I would buy these again.

Comfortable & Cute! Very comfortable and really cute, this is a great closed-toe sandal... Love the metallic multicolor. I have plantar fasciitis as well as bunions so it is difficult to find a sandal that is comfortable as well as looks good. I can walk all day in these, which I have done several times, including the day I received them. Love them!

Perfect summer shoes! I am not a sneaker person, but still need a cute & comfortable shoe for walking, sight-seeing, 12 hour work days....etc. These shoes are perfect and they felt SO comfortable as soon as I put them on! I wear a 7.5 and ordered that size, it fits just right. Thanks again ZAPPOS!

I love these shoes - Adore the look of them. They get a lot of compliments from women of all ages. Only problem is a sore on my foot from how they rub my foot. So the right one is taking some breaking in. But it's worth it!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM - This is a perfect shoe for me. I don't like my toes, but like to wear open shoes in the summer. This shoe fit the bill and offered comfort & support to boot.

Not enough arch support - I returned these, due to not enough arch support and they did not fit my orthotics. I was hoping the insole was removable, but no luck. It seemed to run long and the skinny ankle strap dug into my ankle in an uncomfortable way. Sad they didn't work out.

Great shoe - I get compliments on these shoes every time I wear them! They are very comfortable and look great with sporty/casual capris and shorts. I'm now a big fan of J-41!

Escapade sandal - This was my first purchase from J-41. Very cool looking and comfortable. Looks great with capris and skirts. A really nice alternative to all those clunky sport shoes. I'm purchasing a second pair. I'm hoping that the shoe will be offered in red in the future???

Cute & Comfy - Very cute and oh-so-comfy! No rise, which makes it perfect for lots of walking or standing. Size feels true, but after wearing (for many miles) they have stretched just a tiny bit. My arches are very high, and this shoe has the most supportive insoles I've been able to find right out of the box. You can wear them with anything!

Bliss for your feet! I was skeptical about this shoe at first. I have sort of narrow feet and don't do well with flats in general (I have very low arches) but these were supremely comfortable from the first wearing. The slight arch support is just right. My ankles are a little thin for the strap but even if I keep the strap loose, it looks and feels great. The first couple of wearings the back of one of my heels was a little sore but after a week, it's as if the shoe was made for me. The toe box is roomy but not over wide. I was nervous the shoe would look a bit frumpy but it really does look fantastic whether with work clothes, jeans or shorts. I am a 7.5 and ordered that size and they felt a tad large but I'm actually glad because the airiness of the straps on the toe box gives me that extra wiggle room! I'll be chic and comfortable for my trip to Paris this year!

I have been looking for a comfortable sandal that has a dressy look. The Escapade is it for me. It does not accentuate my size 9-1/2 feet, and I love the styling. This shoe works well with skirts, shorts, and pants. I do agree about allowing a bit of time for break-in. The shoe has good support, and I can wear my orthotics, although they do show some. Most importantly, Zappos service has no parallel. The size exchanges, price guarantee, and outstanding customer service make this my only online shoe store.

LOVE these shoes. As a believer in comfy shoes, I'm so happy to find a sporty shoe that doesn't have the clunky toe box. Love 'em. Had never heard of J-41 before, but now am on the lookout for more.

Great service nice looking shoes - My title above says it all. Great Service really! The shoes are cute and feel comfy the left a little tight on left side but it will stretch I am sure. Just a simple cute pair of casual shoes... Shortly after I ordered the pair I found them cheaper on another site. I phoned Zappos and got my price adjusted. Great prompt and courteous service. Will be here again.

Comfortable and can wear with anything... I got this shoe is multi metallic look and really like it. I have been wearing it with jeans, capris, long skirt...versatile and comfortable. It feels just a bit longer and wider than my normal size 8, but arch support feels pretty good and I am able to walk comfortably all day.

J-41 sandals - What great sandals! I have steel pins in both feet, have had multiple surgeries on both knees and have a tendency to drag my feet when my legs hurt. The tips of those sandals keep me from hurting my feet. The strap keeps the sandals from slipping. The tread is what initially sold me as I fear slipping and falling. It is absolutely awesome! The sandals are comfortable, fashionable, functional and safe to walk in on any surface. I will be ordering another pair in another color soon!

What a cool looking sandal - I love these but they were a little big for me (I forgot my other J-41's I ordered 1/2 size smaller). Anyway, my neighbor loved them so much she bought them from me so I had to reorder them. The 1/2 size smaller are perfect.

When Clunky Walking Shoes Won't Do! I detest sneakers. So when I needed comfortable but chic looking shoes for a first-time trip to Paris (who wants to look like a tourist??), these immediately caught my eye. I bough them in black, got them, tried them on, and immediately ordered the metallic pair. They are cute as h*ll, comfortable, well made (no raw seams, removable insoles, strong hook & loop closure), and go from jeans to dresses without skipping a beat. I walked, ran, climbed stairs and stepped onto boats without a single thought as to what I was wearing on my feet...They are better than I had hoped. If you want a great looking shoe, for walking anywhere I highly recommend!

J-41's are great - J-41 were a new find for me and have proved to be one of the most comfortable. I wear a low profile orthotic and they fit great in the styles I have.

Just what I was looking for! This is the perfect summer shoe - can be fun and casual or dressy enough for brunch with the family. It is amazingly comfortable - this type of flat usually doesn't provide support, but this one has a great insole that makes this shoe all-day wearable! It fits perfectly true to size. This shoe and a pair of flip-flops would be all you need to pack for a summer vacation!

I got these in metallic and they are so cute and comfortable. My size ranges between 8 and 8 1/2, but the 8's in this shoe feel great. I have wide feet, and this shoe is just a little too narrow, otherwise I'd rate comfort 5 stars.

J41 - Escapade - Great shoes! Purchased for a trip - in Spain - they were comfortable, "slip-free" and I felt 'fashionable' as well!

J-41 Escapade - I ordered these because my job requires fronts and backs on shoes. These were one of the few sandal-types that fit the bill. I might never have found them without Zappos. I hate shopping for shoes in the stores, but this way was fun. I received free shipping overnight, and they are just what I was looking for. Wide enough, long enough, a cushioned footbed, with just the right arch support. I recommend these shoes and Zappos.

Great cross between a sandal and a flat for casual wear. They are comfortable for active wear, yet the thin straps give them a more delicate look and make them look a little more feminine than some other sports-type sandals. I have only worn them a couple of times so far, but they are quite comfortable and look great with casual pants, capris, and shorts.
