Beautiful shoe but was really small. I usually wear a 9.5W. I ordered a 10W but the shoe pinched around the ball of my foot and the toe box felt way too narrow for a wide size… had to return

Nice looking boots, but not wide enough for my wide feet with a bunion

Love the classic work boot look but these did not work for my size 5 narrow foot. They slipped in the heel. With most shoes, a specific lacing method prevents heel slippage but it didn't work with these boots. As other reviewers noted, they are stiff out of the box. If they had fit better, I might have taken the time to break them in. Sorry to have to return these but appreciate Zappos' awesome return policy.

I was hoping for something warm and comfortable like the COURMAYEUR VALLEY 6-INCH BOOTS but in black. This isn’t it but it’s a good standard boot. Although it doesn’t keep my feet warm - I have thick socks and had to put in toe warmers. And the laces they came with are very thin and short. Not boot laces so had to be replaced. I’ll keep them but they aren’t what I was actually hoping for. They fit a little big and feel somewhat uncomfortable at the top.

I've had 6" Timbs before - they were pretty comfortable from the start. The ones I ordered from zappos recently - 9W - they were very stiff, kinda difficult getting my foot into the boot, and they shouldn't be considered a 'wide' in my opinion. They actually felt more narrow then the ones I got 7 yrs ago (that were not labeled wides). I'm returning these. They are beautiful, just like always, but they just were not comfortable from the start. The insole didn't feel like it had any cushion at all. I was disappointed, cause I was so excited to treat myself to a new pair. :(

They’re cute but they’re not for me. They felt narrow and I had a hard time putting my feet inside. I ordered the black and they were TOO black. They’re cuter in tan.

The boots were lovely, but I had to send them back because they weren’t wide enough.

Way too tight on the front of my foot. Love the style but even the wide was squeezing the life out of the front of my feet. Sad to return.

Very stiff and painful. I knew ordering online would be a gamble for my wide feet, but these supposedly wide width boots didn't feel wide at all.

I bought my boots in 7.5 Wide, but they are still too narrow, even being half-size bigger than normal. Very sad because these are beautiful boots. My previous Timberland boots were 7W, and they were comfortable from the first day.

Mostly leather upper-manmade top rim

Not recommended if you have a high arch.

The first thing I did was to insert orthotics with arch support. This boot comes with zero arch support. The leather is stiff, but should soften up over time. I wear them to clean up after dogs and horses, or when the weather is wet and cold. I would hesitate to recommend the brand and style to any woman.

I ordered the wide width but it still felt very narrow where the tongue attaches to the boot. I felt it may cause a blister if I had worn them for any length of time. I love the look of the boot, just wish it was more comfortable.
