I bought true to size, 6.5, even though Timberland's size chart told me to buy a 7. Other reviews said to size down, but I tried on a size 6 in store and it was a little too tight for my liking. I am sure they stretch once broken in and would end up fitting better. I was a little worried because once I got my boots in the mail they felt too big and my heel would slide up every step I took, but once I tightened the laces they fit perfect. I live in Tahoe and needed these boots to work outside in the snow and ice. I wear wool boot socks with them and they are very sturdy, yet still comfortable to wear all day. If you are only getting them for fashion use and won't be tying the laces super tight then I might suggest getting a size down and just pushing through the break in period.

My favorite pair of boots. They were a bit stiff at first but I broke them in and they are so comfortable now. They also stretch a little so when they were new they were tighter. These are great durable boots that look good even when they have been through alot!

My daughter always complained about how uncomfortable her boots were, so I recommended timberlands - she said I didn't know anything about women's shoe styles .
I got her a pair 2 years ago, now she always expects s pair for her bday because her dad knows boots .

Quality, sturdy (and waterproof!) boot that can be styled with basically everything. The Wheat Full Grain color is great as it gives a worn leather twist to the traditional Wheat Nubuck color. I usually wear a size 7 and have narrow-ish feet and so I ordered a size 7 Medium width but had to exchange it for a 6.5 Medium width which fit perfectly (a bit snug at first but breaks in nicely). Thanks Zappos for the awesome service and smooth exchange process!

I love these shoes! I honestly lived in them for the first month I had them. They're warm, stylish, and really comfortable to walk around in. A little annoying to put on and take off since you need to lace them all the way up, but otherwise, I can't really find a flaw in the shoe. Plus you get added ankle support! I don't wear these for any sort of hard physical labor so I can't testify as to how good they are in that aspect, but casual wear? A+ for sure.
