These fit just right - Dansko used to work in a 39 for me, but I had to take a 40, now 5 years later. They feel good, and are not fatiguing. The patent have just a slight amount of sharpness against the foot, but since they're not tight, they don't bother me and I'm glad that I didn't return them. Looking forward to wearing these more. They feel easy to walk in. It's all whether the last and strap design suits your foot - I lucked out here. My C+ width feet with bunions are happy, and these are dressy, which is why I opted for a heel.

I purchased this sandal to wear in Jamaica, and it worked out very well. Easy to slide into and stays on, walking around the pool. Has a kind of burnt red color and goes with lots of apparel. Very comfortable.

This shoe is so cute, but unfortunately it is a no go. The toe area so narrow, allowing my big toe to hang over. Also once the straps stretch a bit the baby toe will stick out. I really wanted them to work.

I wanted to love this shoe but the position of the strap with my high arch created a painful configuration. They are on their way back, as my search for the perfect berry sandals continues.

The picture is cuter than they were in person. My little toe poked out of the side area between the straps and the top strap was a bit skinny. The fit was good. I've gotten other Dansko sandals before which I love, so Dankso gets huge praise, but these sandals just didn't work for me.

I bought these in a desperate attempt to find a replacement for my precious Dansko Monicas, which Dansko has bizarrely discontinued. I'll be sending them back, though. It depends on what you want in a sandal of course. The Monica design provided stability, and a cute little peep-toe action. With the Sela design, my toes show in an unflattering way. Also, they feel a bit less stable, partly due, I think, to the slightly higher heel, and also just less strap action. Finally, I did prefer the older leather insole to the synthetic feeling insole on these ones. Oh, and the arch support feels a little weaker, although that could be my imagination. Dansko, when will you bring back the Monica?!

There is a design flaw - all leather upper - except for a little piece of elastic that holds the buckle to the shoe. Weakest link - so it stretches out after a few weeks of wear. If you have the buckle on the last hole - the shoes don't fit anymore.

These are incredibly comfortable - the footbed is best ever. I get lots of compliments. I've had several pair. However, I have had major problems with the elastic - after a few weeks, the elastic on the latest pair has disintegrated. Dansko replaced the first pair this happened to; offered to pay for repair for the second pair; and I haven't contacted them about the third pair. I guess it's shame on me for buying them again - but did I mention they're comfortable?! Sigh.

I purchased these not quite a year ago and loved them all summer long. In January I packed them in my suitcase for a much anticipated trip to Australia where it was midsummer. The last time I had worn them was September. I put them on in Sydney and dashed out of the hotel only to developed huge blisters on both feet. Peering closely at the sandals, I saw that the elastic which holds the buckles on the shoe straps was completely rotted and stretched to nearly 4x the normal length. No amount of tightening would help these expensive sandals to go another mile. We had to stop at a corner store and purchase duct tape to wrap my feet so that I could limp the rest of the way home and it was a struggle just to keep them on my feet with the buckles flapping in the breeze about an inch above my actual foot. At the hotel I tried to sew the buckles back into place but the hotel sewing kit did not have the right kind of thread. I explained to my husband that the sandals cost a lot and I wanted to save them. The reality is that there was not room in our luggage for this useless pair of sandals and the ones I had to buy to replace them. In the past this has been a quality brand that was worth the extra money, but I fear they have moved their operations and the shoes are the same cheap quality we can find at discount stores here in the states. We certainly don't need to pay extra for that! Before the elastic fell apart, I would have given them a 5 star rating, but this was a major hassle on our vacation that I will not soon forget. Since our summers here in Wisconsin are short, I would expect at least 3 seasons of wear from a high end sandal. Big, Big disappointment.

I bought these sandals last summer 2010. I wore them for three months. I just got them out as the weather has finally been warm enough to wear sandals. Sadly the buckle seems to have self destructed. The elastic is all stretched and what looks like fishing line is untangling. Both the left and the right shoe. I can't trust that they won't break, so I guess I can't wear them anymore. They are too expensive to have such shoddy buckles and fasteners.

I bought these shoes mostly for the comfort value. I wore them for a few hours and the strap rubbed against the side of my foot, causing severe pain and a large bruise.

Cute! I have not worn these outside yet, because the leather seems a little stiff and I am afraid of a blister, so I will try to wear them around the house a little first. Great arch support!

These shoes are awesome! I suffer from plantar fasciitis, so Dansko's are the way to go for me. I have these sandals in black and in brown. I can actually walk normally in them. Zappos has excellent service. I got them in lightening fast time! Love the free shipping!

I love my Danskos! The Sela sandal has not disappointed me in any way. When I slip my foot into it, it feels like a pillow! This is my go-to shoe when my feet need a break! I like shoe's that are a little wider and so I have marked this shoe as wider than marked only because I usually don't run into this fit, but I was pleasantly surprised. For my foot there is plenty of arch support, but everyone's feet are different. Love the red color, too! This was also my first purchase from Zappos, but will not be my last. Awesomely fast shipping!

I love these sandals. I wear Dansko clogs in the winter and I wear these shoes in spring and summer. They are very well made and comfortable. I wear them with everything from dresses to capris. I have had a million compliments on them. I like the heel; it adds height, but is not uncomfortable or hard to walk in.

These shoes are all around wonderful! I love Danskos and was not surprised to find these sandals incredibly comfortable (the padded foot bed works wonders!), and they fit like a dream. I have dancer's feet, with a very high instep, which makes me unable to wear some shoes with a strap across the highest part of my foot, but, with the adjustable top strap, this was a non-issue. What I wasn't prepared for was how chic they look on the foot because, honestly, I thought they might be just a little nerdy (although I was willing to make the style sacrifice if they were comfortable). And voila! No sacrifice necessary!

I have scoliosis and high arches. Naturally I have spent my entire life looking for sandals that won't give me blisters, achy knees or more backaches. And these are it. The toe area felt a bit tight compared to Dansko shoes closed toe clogs at first, but after wearing them in the house for a few days, they don't squeeze my big toes anymore. Although I still use Band-Aid anti-friction stick on my big toes. And I like the fact that they don't make the flip-flop sound when you walk. It's 90 degrees with 70 percent humidity here and my feet stay dry all day in these. I'm very happy with my purchase. Thanks Zappos!

These are the most comfortable pair of sandals. They feel great from the moment you put them on until you take them off. I teach kindergarten, so I know a little bit about being on your feet 7 hours a day. I got them in Nubuck to go with about everything. I loved them so much that I got a pair of red ones and tried to get another color, but they are out. So needless to say, I highly recomment these shoes.

This is very comfortable shoe. The foot bed is cushioned and softer than the Dansko Professionals I've worn. The shape of the sole provides great support. And the style makes it a good choice with skirts or pants. Regarding sizing, I wear a 42 in Birkenstock sandals but had to needed a 43 in this shoe. I think is typical for Dansko.

I love these shoes. I have them in black. I like the way they make my legs look and they are so comfortable and I am very picky about my shoes. I never got blisters, no break in period. I just put them on and go. For a backless sandal they really stay put on your foot. Not at all sloppy. I highly recommend.

In the last two years, I have developed foot issues. I didn't want to have to wear orthopedic looking shoes 24/7. Dansko shoes were recommended to me by a co-worker and my podiatrist's office. I have to be able to stand and walk comfortably at work and want to look stylish at the same time. I have several pairs of Dansko clogs and enjoy them. My podiatrist has prescribed orthotics to wear in my sneakers and some close toed dress shoes, also Dansko. I just bought the Sela sandal in black. I have worn them now for about two weeks. The Sela is very cushioned and supportive for a sandal that has a slight heel. I can wear them for eight hours at a time with no pain. I have wide feet with a bunion on one foot and need something that will render me pain-free at the end of the day. This shoe fits my wide feet, cushions my bunion, and remains cushiony all day. The cross over leather straps need a day or two to be worn to stretch out. Other than that, I have worn them a lot. Size 37 consistency fits.

These are the best sandals I've ever owned. They give you a bit of height, are truly comfortable, and make you feel you have wonderful posture. I typically wear a 7 in a sandal but I always order 7 1/2-8 with this Dansko. The only downside is since I wear them all the time, they only last about 8 weeks and then I need a new pair-- but that will happen with pretty much any sandal. Best wishes to you.
