Nice looking boots - I would have rated these five stars, but the zipper area of leather buckles in by my ankles, and pokes my inner ankle. Very annoying, and uncomfortable. They look great and would be the perfect boot otherwise.

Great boots and great service! These are beautiful boots. The leather is high quality and the calf measurements were perfect. I ordered the wide width and had plenty of room in the shoe. I did think the shock absorbing gel pad in the heel feels a little weird at first but I got used to it. My feet were tired after wearing them around the mall for a few hours, but I can't say I've ever worn 3" heels that I could take wearing for anywhere near that long. I tried wide-calf boots from several other websites, and ended up returning them all and ordering another pair from Zappos. None of the other places I ordered paid for any of the shipping either way and they took forever to ship and quality didn't compare to what I bought from Zappos.

Not as wide as I thought - I have a very large calf and this JUST fit with no room to even wiggle my leg. I'm hoping I can stretch it out or else I will just have to be a little uncomfortable wearing them. I am extremely happy with the look and overall fit of the boot. This is the first pair I have ever been able to zip up all of the way!!!

16" calves will SWIM in these boots - I've been reading reviews for every pair of "wide calf" boots on this site, so I decided to get the Fitzwell Norah AND a Sudini boot. Standing flat-footed, my calf is 16". On my toes, as in heels, my calf is 16 1/4". I was hoping that ONE of these boot styles would fit. Neither did. The gap was so huge on the Fitzwell that I could see my ankle sock if I looked down the back of the shaft. I couldn't zip the Sudini. Both were returned within 24 hours. The search continues. I must give huge credit to Zappos for their efforts. The free shipping both ways is a real luxury for those of us with hard-to-fit feet.

Love the buttery leather look! I bought the wide and it fit fine and zipped up without a problem, but the sole doesn't seem to fit my foot. I have no problem with high heels, but my foot seems to wobble in these. Weird. But really pretty.

Nice boot overall - A very nice looking boot. The foot bed felt a bit narrow, but other than that the boot was reasonably comfortable to wear (for the short amount of time I had them on). My calves (15") were swimming in the size 7, though, so I'll have to return them. It seems my calves are too wide for normal boots, but they might also be too "narrow" for wide-calf boots. *sigh* The search continues.

Nice boot - Great boot, very comfortable, cut very narrow in the ankle, huge through mid-calf, then smaller again in the upper calf (right below knee) - you can see this in the picture. I guess it would be perfect if you have curvy calves (which I don’t), but I'm keeping it due to comfort & style. It does make my calves look curvier, so that’s a plus. Overall a nice boot.

Too tight - The boots are gorgeous but they were too tight for my 16 1/2" calves! So disappointed! The shoe part was very comfortable but just couldn't squeeze the zipper up my leg.

Definitely a knee high boot! I normally wear a 7 1\/2 C. I ordered the Black Softie Calf in a size 8 D, the toe box is too narrow and the wide calf is too wide! Returning immediately with no intent to re-order this style.

A little disappointed - I have been wearing these around the house for 5-6 hours. Not comfortable AT ALL! I typically wear a 10, I ordered an 11M & the entire foot portion is horribly tight!! My feet are completely NUMB from the arch down. My fat ankles are about 9.5-10", & these boots pinch a LOT in the ankle area. It hurts to walk up & down steps. There is no give in the leather. My fat calves are 18" at the largest point. The boots DO fit my calves alright. But I have to wear nylons with these, no room for socks at all! They also creep DOWN & bunch a little at the ankles. Also, one boot is a slightly different color than the other! Ugh! Ridiculous! I don't think I can possibly wear these out & be comfortable at all. They look sexy, but feel like torture devices.

NOT for wide calves - I don't have large legs, but do require wide calf width for my athletic legs (I'm a swimmer). I bought these thinking that they would accommodate a TRULY wide calf and they did not. They claimed to be 17.5 inches in circumference (which should give me enough space), but the ankle was cut narrow and didn't fit well around my calf. Also, the toe is VERY narrow, so make sure you get a wider width, all you wide-calf ladies. Its overall look was very nice, but I will need to return them due to poor cut and measurement issues.

Nice dress boot, moderately comfortable. I tried and returned several pairs before I found this one, and it is a beautiful dressy boot- the kind that is hard to find in wide calf. It is a bit uncomfortable in the ankle because of the way the leather folds right there, but it's a great looking boot.

I love these boots! They are super comfy and I get tons of compliments on them. I have wide calves and narrow feet, so I've never been able to find a pair that fit just right. These ones have plenty of room in the calf, and fit my foot perfectly with no sagging in the ankle, or slipping in the foot. Not only are the boots perfect, but Zappos shipped them so fast! I ordered them on a Monday and wore them on Thursday. Awesome!

These boots are beautiful to look at, but are extremely narrow. I ordered the wide to be on the safe side when I usually wear regular and they hurt my feet. Also the circumference of the boot didn't fit me at all. I wouldn't recommend it unless your feet are very slim.
