Lovin' my new "hoochie" boots! I can't say enough about these boots! There really isn't anything negative to report. The shaft is a teench loose on my 16" calves but that allows enough room to tuck pants in, should I find the courage to do so. They were a little tight around the instep but grew comfortable after only a few wears. I love being tall for a day!

Love my boots! These are the first pair of knee high boots I've ever had in my life and I simply love them! They're a perfect fit.

Finally Fit! I have searched high and low for leather boots that fit my big calves and finally I have found what I was looking for. They look good and are very comfortable. I normally wear a 9 1/2 but I ordered a 10 and they fit great.

Very nice! I have huge (17") calves and can never find boots to fit. These worked perfectly. They're very comfortable and fit everywhere - calf, ankle and foot. I had them on for 6 hrs. the first time and my feet didn't hurt at all.

These are great looking boots. The wider calf is just right. Several reviewers suggested the wide width, which I took. Although they are a bit wider than I would usually like, they are very comfortable. I'll just use an inner sole.

great boot! After searching far and wide for a boot to go over my calf muscles, I finally found it. It's so much better then the stretchy, fake leather that's supposed to fit over a wide calf. I love them!

This is a very pretty boot, but the detail hurt my ankles. The calf circumference was listed at 15½" but was actually more like 17½" which was too big for my 16" calves.

Fitzwell Norah boots are very attractive. I love the style. The boots are made from nice quality leather. Unfortunately I had to return them, as they were to wide on my calf. I purchased size 8.5 and my calf is 16 1/4 at it's widest. The calf of Fitzwell Norah was substantially wider. Those boots are really great looking and I would have loved to be able to wear them.

Fits wide fat calves! I am 5'8" tall, size 14 and have 17.5 calves at the largest part. And these boots fit! They measure 18" at the top and come 2" below my knee. They are just slightly snug but not uncomfortable. The only thing that might make me return them is the bunch above the ankle. The ankle part is thin and fitting but the boot then bunches and almost creates an upside down "shelf" that sticks more than an inch out. But comfortable for a high heel!

I tried this boot in two sizes because I loved the styling. However, it just was not a comfortable boot. Sadly returning the second pair.

This is a very nice-looking and well-made boot but the wide calf wasn't quite wide enough for me. I couldn't zip it all the way up. (Side note to manufacturers: Why must you insist on calling my calves 'wide'? I prefer to call my calves 'juicy'!). By the way, I'm 5'5" and 235 lbs., size 18W. I don't know my calf measurement. I bought 3 pairs of black tall boots and sent this one back. I kept the Fitzwell Freida Extra-Wide Calf boot, and I'm still undecided about the RSVP Sheymar Wide Calf boot, which zips all the way up on me but it's very snug so I'm not sure if it will eventually break in -- so I haven't decided yet.

This shoe was really cute on and flattered my leg, but I could not move or bend my ankle at all! That made walking really difficult, not to mention silly looking.

Very cute boots but with a very wide calf. I have athletic legs and calves and these were still too wide for me.

Fabulous - I love these boots; they are comfortable. I was able to fit into them (my calves are size 17"). A little tight on the ankle area but I expect to soften with wear. I certainly recommend these.

Great boot for VERY wide calves - This boot is perfect for those of us who are runners with HUGE calf muscles, but tiny ankles. It is not bulky and very comfortable.

Awesome!! These boots just arrived and I am so excited I had to show them off to all the women in my office! Finally a boot that fits my wider calf and looks sexy too! I am between a 9 1/2 and 10 in size and the 9 1/2 fit perfectly. Very nice looking boot for the price.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful - These boots are made from butter soft leather and lined with the same. Wow, they are beautiful, and what a value. I can't believe the price for these well made boots. They fit a bit snug around the toe area, so size up if you need to. The brown boots are a rich chocolate color. They are just what I was looking for.

Fitzwell & Zappos do it again! This is my second Fitzwell boot for my wide calves (16.5" calf & a size 6 foot -- NOT easy to fit), and they're great!!! They fit my calf w/a tiny bit to spare, and they feel really comfortable on my foot. These boots look totally hot on, too. Can't wait to wear them out!!! And Zappos, as usual, gets an A+ for selection & service. Thanks, Zappos!

Bummed!! This is a BEAUTIFUL boot, and I was thrilled to find it with the larger calf. Sad to say, it was WAY more room than I needed and just looked baggy. So I then tried Fitzwell Rosana, which was also very sharp, but couldn't begin to get it zipped...thanks to Zappos for their quick order and return process!!!

I love these boots...and the other reviews are pretty accurate. I have 17" athletic (and short) calves, and these boots zipped over my calves...barely. After a little while of wearing them, they definitely stretched out and became more comfortable. I've never worn wide shoes in my life, but I would strongly recommend ordering wider. The toe box is pretty snug. I would go up a 1/2 size. But they are beautiful boots that go well with virtually anything- the first "wide-calf" boot I've found that I really like.

Really need to be broken in. I love these boots! They are real leather all the way around the boot and they fit my calves, but I had to use the shoe stretchers to loosen up the foot area because it was so tight and hurt my feet really badly. Once that was broken in, I started wearing them everywhere and getting so many compliments!

These boots are very classic and the leather is very soft. The boot fit my feet perfectly. However, the wide calf shaft (17.5") was way too big for my athletic calves. I need something just a bit smaller. I will order other Fitzwell boots as the quality is great for the price point.

Better for taller people - I liked the boot a lot but it seems to be gaping just before my knee and gave me the impression it would fit better on a slightly taller person - I am 5'5". And for me the heel is a bit too high, it overall felt like "not my shoe". The regular width was a bit narrow, I usually wear a wide C.
