Ordered an 11.5 but these are a bit larger in length than I expected need an 11 but otherwise really nice shoes.

Classic penny loafers. Very comfortable. The mahogany is pretty subtle - much more brown than mahogany (which was just fine for me). A little expensive, but the color, fit and comfort were perfect for me.

I like the look of these, but they are very narrow in the toes. I normally wear 10.5 but they were tight. I returned them for an 11, but they were tight in the toes box but loose in the heel. I went with a different brand.

I've been buying these J&M penny loafers for years. They're very consistent; they're true to size; but if you need anything more than moderate arch support, these (like many loafers) aren't the shoes for you.

Super plush inside the shoe. Does run narrow.

Very Comfortable and excellent fit

I was surprised that these were too tight, as I have pair of J&M loafers in 12D and they fit perfectly. Give credit, as I won't try a different size. The change in the soles was also a surprise from leather.

I've developed bad feet. I was desperate for a loafer that was a little wide and comfortable. This shoe was perfect! Bought another pair!

I had previously purchased these shoes at a local retailer years ago. Usually I take wide shoes, but my old pair stated "M" for the width. I ordered these from Zappos, but they felt a little tight. Zappos then shipped the larger width without shipping charges or charging for the second pair. It turns out that the "M" width was best, and I was able to return the EE pair back to Zappos at no charge. Great service.

Beautiful shoe, fine quality, and it seemed to arrive almost as fast as I hit the confirm sale button, as usual. Thanks Zappos for the great service.

My husband wanted a classy dressy loafer style shoe and specified Johnston Murphy. We shopped several local stores without success. I found these on Zappos and ordered size 13 as he normally wears a 12.5 if he can get it. 13 was too big so we exchanged for 12 and they fit perfectly. Wonderful, fast service from Zappos and an excellent quality product.

We used Zappos this Christmas. Our orders were confirmed, immediately, and shipped in a very short time. One order was the wrong size, and the return, and correct size was extremely easy and fast. I was amazed. We will use Zappos again.

Great shoes, very comfortable. I have several pairs of J&M shoes, all the same size, and these fit true to size.

Shoe is great. I was told I have wide feet. I got some wide shoes and they are just too wide. Nothing wrong with the shoe, now I have to get the right type of shoe.

Great shoe, but runs narrow. My husband usually wears a wide in Johnston and Murphy shoes, but even the wide in this style was too tight across his foot. Sadly, had to return.

Just what I wanted

I've had a cordovan pair for a few years and love them. I needed a black pair and ordered the same model, just in black. They were a bit stiff at first but broke in well in a few wearings. I like very shiny shoes but these don't shine up as well as the cordovan. Perhaps that will take time.

IT WAS OK. MATERIAL SEEMED LIKE CHEAP LEATHER THOUGH IT IS LEATHER. TOO MUCH FEELING OF GROUND YOU'RE WALKING ON WHY I HAD TO PAY TWICE AS MUCH FOR THE BLACK PAIR THAN I DID FOR THE OTHER COLOR I DO NOT KNOW. THIS IS VERY UPSETTING!!!!

I usually wear W or E, ordered the W (EE) option and it was way too narrow. Seemed nice besides that, but I’ll have to return.

The shoe looks fine and is comfortable enough for all day wear, but it is heavy. When I first got them I noticed that the shoe is strangely snug in some areas yet never feels like it is securely on.

Do NOT buy these shoes unless you want the look and feel of a man-made material. They don't even look close to being real leather. I guess I'm use to buying more expensive shoes, even from J&M, but these are horrible.

Fit ok. But developed a loud squeak in both shoes. Cheap.
