Odd toe box -
Comfortable but very wide and angular at the toebox. Also some slippage at the heel, but that could just be due to my weird feet.

I'm a 7 1/2 but wear an 8 in closed toe shoes because my big toe joint swells up and I don't want pressure on the toe. The 8 was too big so I bought them in 7 1/2 which was good. I was looking for water shoes with thick soles that give good support and would work for climbing cliffs. These would be perfect on someone else. I have low ankles and the outsides of the shoes pressed against the bottom of my ankles which would end up being painful after a while. They have a lot of adjustments for fit but with my foot issues a different brand worked better.

It was much too difficult to put this shoe on and take off since the back doesn't open. I read one of the reviews that said that but wanted to give it a try since I have narrow feet and skinny ankles but even with that I had too much difficulty getting this shoe on and off.

I really wanted to like these shoes. The style, appearance, and fit were just what I was looking for, "a sandal for hiking and trail walking". But they are very hard to put on, with or without socks, even a shoehorn did not make it easy. My ankles are slim, and my feet are not swollen or particularly wide, so I figure it's the design of the shoe that is the problem. I decided I could not put up with the aggravation ... so they are going back. I'm disappointed, as they look great.

True to size. I purchased 8 and it was a true 8 to me. I have wide feet so thats what I looked for. It was wide enough. Arch support is very important because of fallen arches.
Unfortunately it was too hard to pull on. Quick return no problems.

Keen is another brand that is comparable.

I particularly wanted this style of sandals because I use orthotics, and I need the strap that goes down the back of the heel so they won't slide out the back of the shoe. Unfortunately, these sandals have a very tight band over the top of the instep, very like a water shoe, so with the orthotic in, my feet didn't fit. My (very) old Tevas have a more normal top, and fit just fine, so I'll have to see if they can be re-soled.

The design of the back of the heal leans forward and it makes putting the shoe on difficult. Once the shoe was on, it fit true to size, however, again the weird forward leaning heal was a problem. It caused friction. There is an adjustable strap at the heal, so it is mystery why the heal leans forward so much.

Was not happy with the technology of the shoe: the cinch cord is not fast, and pulls only one side at a time to make for a s-l-o-w fit. I need a shoe with quick flexibility and easy on/off...just wasn't for me!

Very nice shoe. Comfortable because it is wide in the front. Well padded. Unfortunately it didn't fit me. Normally I wear a size 5 in shoes that I will wear without socks. These were right up to the top of the shoe.

This was my first try of a Teva shoe. I wanted a closed toe sandal with hiking support. This shoe looked like it would fit the bill, but the heel strap is so high and deep that it cut unto the back of my heel and up onto my ankle. Unfortunately, these were an immediate return, and I had to go on my end-of-summer vacation with my regular hikers. I'll hunt again for the perfect sandals next season.

I ordered the chocolate chip in a 10 and first of all, the color is more light brown than pictured. Lots of toe room, but I would recommend ordering a half size smaller. Heel fit nicely. The Velcro straps are wide and honestly, not very attractive. Good quality, however, and will continue to consider Teva for all my sports and summer shoes and sandals. Just not real fond of this particular style.

I've been looking for shoes for sailing forever (why don't women get all the same options as men?), and these looked like they might fit the bill. Unfortunately, they are too wide for me, even with everything tightened. They seem wider than other Teva shoes that I've worn. Otherwise, I think they'd be great for boating. I also got a pair of Teva Churn W's, which do seem to fit just fine.

The design of the shoe is excellent! I only wish Teva paid more attention to its construction. After about two months of wear, the sole of both shoes began to separate and peel off. Once water and dirt got in between, this only accelerated this. Clearly the adhesive used in construction was at fault. Bad quality control on Teva's part.

My boyfriend and I each have a pair of these shoes. I have wider feet, so I like the big toe box that some other people complained about. They are pretty comfy for standing around in the sun. However, we both got pretty bad heel blisters after walking around for a bit. You'd think the adjustable heel strap would fix this problem but it doesn't get tight enough. I expected better from Teva.

I have a high arch and getting into the webbed structure of the body of the shoe was really difficult and then felt uncomfortably tight.

I have a pair of "dressier" Teva's that I bought last summer that I love & wear all the time, but I don't want to get them wet. Now I need a true water shoe, so I naturally looked to Teva. The Omnium was very hard to get on. I have very high arches and plantar fasciitis. They weren't bad once I crossed that hurdle, but not the most comfortable. I chose to go with Keen's Whisper.

I wanted to love these shoes. I have worn Teva sandals for years and wanted a waterproof option for going to the beach/playground/running errands etc with my kids this summer.
Unfortunately, these shoes are HEAVY and stiff and clunky. They had no "give" and do not really flex when worn. Huge disappointment and sent back.

The velcro strap that goes across the top isn't long enough to reach the other strip of velcro that will hold it. The strap seems like overkill anyway.

Unfortunately, these shoes did no work for me. I wanted something to take a long walk in that was cool, yet supportive. I just got blisters. I\'ll have to find another use for them, perhaps at the beach, or wear socks which will look a little dorky, but what the heck, I am a dork.

These sandals are rubbish if you plan on doing actual walking in them. I got them for a planned trip in which I knew I would be walking a lot. After careful consideration (I really wanted sandals due to the clothing I would be wearing) I chose Tevas because of all the positive recommendations. They fit true to size but the heel slipped on me. I figured they'd be okay since they have a velcro strap across the heel that you can tighten. After half a day of walking I placed bandages over both heels to protect the blisters. At days end I took them off...this was after roughly ten miles walking, mind you...and my toes were bleeding. They weren't tight at all but my toes rubbed against the rubber inside or something and...well it was ugly. Thank goodness I had brought regular walking shoes with me. I hadn't wanted to bring two pair (to save space and because the walking shoes don't look "nice" but I would not have been able to continue the trip had I not). I feel I wasted my money.

The information on the order page said these sandals OPEN, however, they have tabs, but DO NOT OPEN and I cannot put them on at all due to surgeries that fused my left foot making it impossible to bend my foot. Makes me sad because I loved the look of these sandals.
