This shoe is sturdy and comfortable and fits true to size. I like the style of the shoe and that it's water resistant. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I'm not too crazy about all the velcro closures which are not the most convenient to get in and out of. Other than that, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Challenging to pull on over my high instep even with the strap unbuckled. Needs a pull-on tab at the end of the shoe tongue. They fit and feel good so I'm keeping in hope they will get easier to pull on with use. Replacing Keen Venice H20 which made it through 3 summer of heavy use.

I’ve finally found a pair of casual sandals which are relatively comfortable and have closed toes and heels. These sandals allow me to insert a slight heel lift in one shoe. I use one because one leg is a tad bit shorter than the other. The sandals have better support than any pair I’ve worn lately. They are still a little too wide on my very narrow heel. I can’t pull the shoelace thing tight enough. I like the adjustable heel strap and the strap that closes over the shoelace. I like the wide toe box as well.

Show came, while adjusting the strap on top, it snapped, I had to sew it back together. That's rather disappointing for brand new sandals.

I have worn Tevas for years. I have worn different types hiking in and out of water. This is my first pair that is not a sandal. So I am only giving 4stars until I have worn them longer

Great, comfortable shoe—wish I could have kept them. The only part that was not comfortable was the heel strap. Very comfortable to walk in otherwise.

Very nice sandal. However, I normally wear a 7M, and this feels like an 8W. Even if I ordered a 6, I think it would still be too wide. Wish these kinds of shoes didn’t fit like boats. Good for someone with a very wide foot.

Good shoe for hiking. Medium was the only width offered on the Zappos website, but the pair I received were marked wide. There are several ways to adjust the width so they might have been okay, but I wanted a shoe to wear to water aerobics and these are too heavy. The toe box was very wide.

I purchased my first pair of Omniums at [other retailer] towards the beginning of 2012. I took them into the backcountry of the Trinity Alps for a season that year, and on the trails of Sequoia NP the following year. Since then I've been living in the city and started wearing them virtually everyday in the middle of 2014. At the start of this year(2015) I decided I should get some replacement pairs. I procrastinated until May/June, and now here we are! [The other retailer] doesn't currently carry this model of sandal so I thought I was out of luck. That google thing brought me to the Teva site, and the rest was history. They arrived in two days and I'm amazed at the difference in wear and color between my new and (technically still wearable)old pair. Considering how long the first pair is still lasting, it may be a few more years before I purchase another pair, though I am considering getting a pair in the blue sooner... Anyway, thanks for keeping this successful item in stock. If it ain't broke, don't mess with it, darn it! -JC P.S. I was in the water a lot in the backcountry, and these suckers dry slow. If you can't have a fire, be prepared for squelching.

Very comfy and supportive. Perfect for summer walks. I like the heel adjustment option since my heels are narrow. I needed the 1/2 size larger that I usually wear with sneakers for toe wiggle room.

These have an odd smell which I hope will fade over time...but I wore them for the first time with an injured foot hiking Zion and they were great! The toe box is roomy, they feel tight when you are putting them on, but when your foot is settled they are very comfortable. Haven't had a problem with rocks sneaking in because of the covered toe.

Bulkier than I expected. Looks like a sport sandal but fits like a tennis shoe--and not a small one. I bought this along with Keen Whisper and Venice H2 and the Merrell Cambrian Emme. I went with the Venice because it felt like I was barefoot, but better. This one was heavy and my foot was hot after only a minute. If you want a hybrid that leans toward the tennis shoe, this is for you. If you want a sandal, look elsewhere.

I love them. I took them with me on a cruise and they were comfortable. I was looking for athletic shoes that would work well at the beach and these do. I have only one small complaint. On the left shoe, the part that sits on the heel tends to fold down and be uncomfortable. This could be a function of the narrow heels I have, but my left foot is the bigger foot, so I would have expected this to occur on the right foot.

I bought these shoes for my canoeing/hiking adventure and they are great! They are light, comfortable, grip well and they dry fast. However, I have to say that the toe area is a little too wide and the elastic inside the back seam cuts your heel. The adjustment on the back is just for show. I removed that elastic and the shoes became perfect!

I usually like wide widths, but these fit well with plenty of space for my toes, even without wide width. Great support and traction. Used them to climb Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica, and they were perfect for that!

I bought the Omnium sandal for a week-long canoe trip that would involve many portages and the occasional sludge through mud. I could not have been any happier with the way this sandal handled the water and terrain. While others in my group were losing their shoes in the mud, this sandal stayed on perfectly. I also wear them for day hikes or just walking around town. They're incredibly versatile and I think they're pretty cute and feminine too (I bought them in Mauvewood). After wearing dressy sandals or heels all day, it feels great to put these on.The only complaint I have with the Omnium sandal is that the sole of my right shoe is peeling from the back. It's not an immediate concern, but if it peels any farther I will have to buy a new pair (and maybe try a different brand?). I've been wearing these shoes for a year, and having paid[$] for them, I thought they'd last a lot longer.

These arrived yesterday. I am VERY impressed with Zappos fast turn around, but this review is of the shoes. WOW... these are great. I have a VERY narrow foot and was concerned about the fit. They adjust so many ways that they fit my foot and ankle very snugly, but give my forefoot lots of room. In fact... I have had to compensate so much for loose fitting shoes that I find myself almost curling my toes to walk... hence I have arch and heel problems now. These shoes nearly force me to walk with my foot flat and I had no pain while walking around the house. Have tried them for long duration, but I don’t anticipate any problems. I also expected them to look HUGE on my foot... they look big, but not so big that they are unattractive. I’ll give them 4 stars for now and come back once I’ve worn them awhile and hopefully upgrade the rating to five stars.

Great Outdoor Shoe - Bought these shoes for a rugged trip to the Galapagos Islands, where we had multiple wet landings. Shoe was great for these, plus keeping on for hiking (dried out while walking). However, once they dried out, they really smelled, so I had to wash them out with soap and dry on deck where there was a breeze. They claim they have an anti-microbial material built in that is supposed to prevent any smell, but I guess it only battles certain environments - not this one. Bit of a pain, but I am still glad I had them on the trip. Incredibly comfortable and looked great. Chocolate chip is a great color, especially as I was with other people who had the olive ones and were getting them mixed up. Also, they felt big when I bought them, but I tried a size and a half down, too, but they were too tight, so I stayed with my original size and found that they ended up fitting well overall. Since they have adjustment straps, this helped me to get a better fit.

Fantastic support but... Incredibly supportive but... 1) With my high instep they are not easy on or off, need a shoehorn 2) Got a heel blister the first morning wearing them & I wasn't walking that much 3) Hosed them off after this somewhat muddy morning & the upper still has a funky smell. I got these shoes for summer work at a farm. I love the way they fit & hope my blistered area toughens up. I learned last year that for hiking my feet need regular walking shoes with socks.

Comfy but clunky - I bought the Teva Omnium for a trip to Maui, but ended up hiking a lot less than I anticipated. I wore them for the first day where most of my walking was up and down the beach, but the sand kept getting stuck inside the shoes and I had to take them off. If it weren't for the sand, I would have kept them on as they were very comfortable (with the exception of one small blister on my ankle). My biggest complaint is that the toe box is very, very wide in an unattractive way - I like active, yoga/gym-type clothing, but these shoes were way too clunky looking even for this relaxed look. I'd wear them more often as everyday shoes if they weren't so clunky.

Disappointing ankle pressure points. I was hoping to wear the Teva Omnium kayaking etc. They are well made and the foot bed is very comfortable, but they rubbed the top of the back of my ankles horribly. Wearing socks would probably relieve this problem, but would then not make them practical for the water.

Great shoe but runs big - Bought these on an impulse and didn't want to take them off once I put them on. They are extremely comfortable and offer excellent support – similar to Merrell. I had tried on a similar style of Keen and found these much lighter and more comfortable – not at all clunky. I just wish I had gotten them a half size smaller. Found out they were a little too big after walking outdoors in them so couldn't return. I can get by with wearing my normal size but there is a little heel slippage that gets slightly uncomfortable on longer walks. I wear these to walk on dirt and gravel trails a lot and love it. I seldom have a problem with stuff getting into my shoes.
