I really wanted to love this shoe. I'm heading to Maui shortly and I wanted a walking/hiking shoe that would work in the water. This seemed to fit the bill perfectly. Unfortunately, even with the heel adjustment, they rubbed on my heel after walking in them for half an hour around the house. They seem like a great shoe, just not for me.

I am disappointed in the comfort of this shoe. I wore it today for about 6 hours and have a blister on the back of the heal and sore spots on my toes. It is nice that it adjusts with the string and the straps but overall I don't know how it got such high praise from the other customers.

Even though I have narrow and thin (top to bottom) feet, I usually wear a 9. But in this shoe, the 9 was WAY to wide. My foot swam inside and they just did not work for me. Cute to look at, though!

This is my second pair of Omniums. I had the first pair for several years, and they were comfortable right out of the box. Unfortunately, the sole of one of the shoes came completely off. Re-gluing the sole didn't look like a good option. So, I purchased a new pair. The second pair didn't even seem like the same brand of shoe. The look was good, but the shoes were stiff and uncomfortable. The support and cushioning in the second pair was not even in the same league as the first pair. The second pair will likely become yard shoes as my feet ache whenever I wear them.

Shoe would have been perfect if it was easy to fit into the shoe. The top area is to tight. Once I was able to fit into the shoe, the toe area was wide and comfortable. They are not easy getting into or out of.

These are really cute shoes. I wanted them for hiking. They would probably be great for river rafting, but the insoles are the kind of rubber/plastic that make your feet sweat. I could wear socks, but what is the point of socks plus holes in the shoes? I reluctantly sent them back.

Almost sent these back due to very uncomfrotable heel strap design that cut into both sides of achilles without socks. Took many miles to break that in. They are very comfortable otherwise, almost as much as running shoes. I would recommend with that reservation.

My husband got these shoes (they were the mens ones) and he loves them. However, I didn't have as great of luck with mine. I got these because we had a lot of walking to do in Disney Land and Sea World and some hikes this summer. I ended up having to wear band aids the first day I wore them a long time because they started to rub the top of my heel and I didn't want a blister. We went on a hike about a week after I had been wearing them often and I got 4 blisters (two on the top of each heel) when our hike was over. They would have been great if it wasn't for how the back heal strap rubbed. Other reviewers have had great luck with them but for me they didn't fit right. I was pretty bummed. My husband still loves his and hasn't had a single issue with them. He wears his all the time.

This shoe was kind of cute. I liked the color well enough (grape snake). The toe area was huge, even for my somewhat largish feet. In addition to this shoe I tried a Khombu and two styles of Keen. This one was the best fit in terms of true to size (the others being smaller than expected), but the tongue area and top strap on this shoe went too high up my ankle. It was uncomfortable to have the strap rubbing against the spot where my ankle meets my leg on the top of my foot. Also, the very large toe box looked a bit funny. The other three shoes felt more comfortable, just smaller.

I bought these shoes for my honeymoon in the Bahamas. I am a Type 1 diabetic so I have to be concerned with protecting my feet. These shoes are sturdy, comfortable and stay on well, but they started falling apart after not long use. I use these shoes while washing the car (which only happens about three times a year), boating, swimming in the ocean, and walking around in the sand. I do not feel I received allot of use out of these shoes before they started falling apart and wish they would have lasted longer. My husband has tried three different types of glue/bonding agents to hold the bottom soul to the shoe but none of them holds for very long. Now I am going to have to buy some more water shoes. I think these shoes were too expensive not have lasted. Very disappointed in the quality.

Great fit comfortable but delaminated after 6 months of only occasional use. Very bad glue. However, I sent the product back (at my own expense) and I promptly received by replacement. It is too early for me to tell whether the defect had been corrected. I only wear it for a few hours every couple of weeks for walking. It would be a great pair of sandal if the delamination problem has been solved. This is the only problem - just use better quality glue to put this sandal together.

Hard to put on. Fasteners difficult to open, close. Top edge over instep folds in when putting on. Last Teva fit perfectly, this one a bit too short. The shoe I returned to get this one was so poorly designed that there was nothing to hold the ankle strap secure and it slipped on walking. Obviously someone is not paying attention to functional design details. Teva fails the Steve Jobs test.

This shoe is nice and good for walking in wet areas but gave me blisters on my heels. The water also gets caught in the toe box and doesn't drain well like my old Tevas.

I love the shoe but have had to shoe glue them a lot since they are falling apart. It started after my 1 yr warranty. I did not wear them everyday but when I do I enjoy the comfort but the sole is falling off. :(

My son could not fit his feet in although the shoes are a little longer than the length of his feet because the part of the shoes where the Velcro has been placed does not stretch to accommodate the width of his feet

Great alternative covered summer shoe for kids... it's only downfall was the buckle area didn't last 3 months. Appreciate the replacement shoes.

The actual fabric on the shoe faded after only a few times in the pool. There are now two differnt clorors (that do not match) on the shoe. Still a great shoe!

I wanted to love this shoe. I bought it because it has more adjustability than my usual Keens. However, it has a piece of elastic that goes around the ankle. This elastic just cuts in to the back of my ankle terribly. Also, the texture of the insole was very irritating to the bottom of my foot. These will be going back to Zappos and I will order another pair of Keens.

First pair came apart after 2-3 days light wear, soles came unglued. GREAT response from customer service, immediate replacement at no cost. Now we have to see if this second pair holds up.

In the pictures and video, this shoe looks like it could be totally cute sandal for walking on a rocky beach, but when it arrived the front of it looked really wide - like duck feet. I have a narrow foot, so I can imagine someone with a wide foot liking this shoe. I ended up getting the Keen La Paz thong, and am much happier with the style and comfort level for my upcoming vacation.

The toe box on these was so wide, they fit less like a sneaker than I thought. They seem like quality shoes, just not what I was looking for so I returned them.

This is a well made shoe, and seemed to fit my son's feet pretty well. However, after wearing it for a few days, I noticed that he started to get a blister near his ankle- near where the velcro met the fabric. So I sadly had to return them. I don't know why it happened, so you may have a different experience. Otherwise, they are very lightweight and VERY cute (I got the army color).

I have a wonderful love/hate relationship with these shoes. I love them. I love them so much I own them in every color. My foot is small enough that I can fit in the 'big kid' shoes and I have those in every color as well. I probably have about a dozen pairs of Teva Omniums. I wear these year round and they are hands down the most comfortable shoes I own. I originally bought these for a trip to Jamaica. I was looking for a good amphibious shoe. These seemed to fit the bill. I wore them while climbing Dunn's River Falls. The first problem was immediately evident. Sand and small rocks get in them. Ouch. Not good. To be fair this would be a problem with any brand/style of sandals with this design. The second problem came up after I got out of the falls and I noticed my shoes were coming apart. Just a little at the back on the sides near the heel. It wasn't that big of a deal so I wasn't too concerned. Fast forward a year. I got out of my car one night and nearly fell on my face. One of the soles on my shoe had nearly peeled off. Grrr. They were fine when I got in the car. I looked into this on other websites (Teva/Amazon, etc.) only to find this is a huge and common problem with these shoes. Lots of reviews stating this was a problem. And to make matters worse, Teva doesn't seem to care. For shoes that sell for this price, I find this totally unacceptable. I've since repaired my shoes with some SureHold Multi-purpose SureFlex Adhesive I bought at a local Walgreens. So far so good. They're holding up. If your looking for a good, comfortable shoe these are great. Just don't wear them in water. Water seems to loosen up the glue Teva uses. None of my other Tevas have had the sole peeling issue knocks wood, but I also haven't used any of them as 'water shoes'.

The shoe fits to size. I tried on the shoe and sat with it on for awhile. It's rubbery insole made me sweat and since I live in AZ, that's not a good thing.
