These looked so similar to the L.L.Bean sandal that was discontinued a few years ago. Unfortunately, it was not the same. They were very difficult to put on, so ended up returning them. Too bad, it looked like a nice sandal.

Sturdy, well made, fit great. BUT when sand gets between your foot and this shoe it does not leave! You can end up uncomfortable walking in them.

The issue with these shoes, and also the size 7.5 I tried, is not sizing or style. The fit is great on the 7, my usual size, even accommodating my bunions. Style is good for this type of sports sandal. Comfort was an issue for me, though. Many rough spots inside for my admittedly sensitive feet. Would probably be ok with socks, but not ideal.

Wanted to like these but these do not have a good arch support for my high arches.

The shoes were too tight to get on. After many minuted of trying, I had help and managaed to get the left shoe on. Once on, it was very good, just what I wanted. However, I returned them because of the initiail difficulty.

Very cute, but difficult to get on. I have a wide foot and while the shoe itself was wide enough, the opening to put my foot through was not large enough and there is no way to loosen it. I struggled for a full 5 minutes trying to get it on and had to ask my husband to do it for me. Even he had a hard time

Great shoe. But, I am older and unable to get it on without hurting myself.

Shoes are super comfortable once you get them on. Please allow an additional 5 mins extra for actually getting shoe past the heel of your foot.

Tried in Costa Rica for all activities requiring closed-toe shoes. They are difficult to get on and off and they rub the heel terribly.

Had to cinch the strap beyond what the Velcro would accommodate. Walking around the house, the heel rubbed, promising future blisters. I returned them.

Sturdy, overall comfortable sandal. Had to return, as one sandal rubbed the inside of my foot. I tried adjusting the straps tighter and looser, leaving a few days in between, as the rub left a small red mark after wearing for one hour. Results were the same after adjustment. Upon very close inspection, it appeared the piping on the top of the inner sandal, just below my ankle bone, was stitched slightly higher than the other. This exposed more of the stitching of the sandal just below it, when compared to the other sandal. Although all felt smooth to the touch of fingers, apparently this slight defect was enough to irritate my skin, as only one sandal was causing the problem. Perhaps others could have worn this sandal with no problem. One other issue I noticed was that the sandal had a light "grip" on the surface that comes in contact with the bottom of the foot, that I found mildly irritating. I only wore the sandals for about 2 hours total, and only in the house, before returning.
These sandals were sturdy, and appeared to be good for land or water. I believe these would be great sandals for most people, but perhaps not my tender-footed 70-year old self! I give them 3 stars because other than the uncomfortable fit, they seemed very good. However, I was unable to judge them for performance.

I am so disappointed in my shoes. I have worn TEVA sandals for over 25 years and always loved them. The first time I wore my new shoe, it cut the back of my foot. I added some moleskin to the shoe and used bandaids on my feet but it didn't help. The 2nd time I wore them I got the same results. The 3rd time I wore socks but no better. Not looking forward to wearing them again.

Quality great. Snaps are annoying. Opening makes it more difficult to get into, and not as pleasant a feel on the ankle. The toe windows at the front are smaller than my previous version. (That's my biggest complaint). I had the previous version a decade at least, before they finally look too sad to wear except on the river. Toes cannot breath as well in these. Feet overall feel restricted in comparison to the previous version from a decade past. I have many versions of Tevas and have been wearing for decades. These are the only ones I have every received and disliked. For love of feet, please please bring back the version of a decade past. I will buy them and donate these.

The length was appropriate and the width was adjustable, so the width was fine. I have narrow and low volume feet and the style of this shoe just didn't work for me. The straps rubbed and were uncomfortable. Maybe the fit would have been better if the shoe was available in narrow width. I returned them.

Very comfortable and supportive once you get them on. Kind of hot for the summer and the open parts let sand & pebbles in so not sure how great they are for hiking. Just as difficult to get on & off as a shoe with laces. I will probably like them better in the fall with a thin sock.

I actually really like these shoes but if I wear them for more than an hour I get blisters. I have to wear socks with them. Which is a bummer.

This shoe is comfortable enough but very hard to put on and that is the reason I wouldn't buy too difficult to wear with a sock

I bought these to go on a trip where I need part hiking/part water shoe, and they fit the bill on that. However, I'm returning the shoe because they are hard to get on and feel tight around the opening where my foot goes - I feel like when I am out using them / hiking / sweating that would just get worse. My feet fit fine once inside them, but getting them into the shoe and then the area around that opening feels uncomfortably small.

Apparently what I really wanted was a close-toed Tirra and this was not it! Quality materials and construction, fantastic footbed, roomy toe box (almost too roomy), but that heal cup design was not meant for my feet. The achilles tendon support came up way to high and was very irritating - surely blister making - and I don't know why it was necessary - just copy the heel strap height & support of the Tirra. This shoe design is a bit of a Franken-shoe - the heel rear strap was obviously designed for folks with different sized feet from the rest of the shoe. Very disappointed and have to return them. The Tirra in a women's 8.5 is just perfect. I'm mystified by how far off that mark this shoe is.
