I like the way Keens look, but they run a little small so the biggest size is too short for me. These Tevas are roomy in the toe. I like them for light hiking most of the year.
There have been problems with the bottoms coming unglued, so make sure they are on tight before you accept them. My last pair have been fine.

Two things...It has taken three weeks for my Achilles's heel to accept this show. Give yourself plenty of breaking in time before heading out on your first adventure. Also, there is no drainage for rocks or other debris that enters the shoe. You can not shake out pebbles, but instead have to stop and unstrap the shoe to clean it out.

Well, I wanted to love these. After much research to find beach walking shoes I chose these. They are comfy enough and I love all the adjustments possible - in the heel, on top of the foot in two spots. They are quite cushy and they'd be great for walking on anything but sand. However, as I suspected, the sand just rushes in as I am walking. I thought it'd be easy to wash it out and go. However, the sand gets caught in the two buckles and I wasn't able to unsnap them to rinse. I've gotta keep 'em now, but had I known just how much sand comes in (like with the first two steps) I would not have purchased. They do seem to rinse cleanly once I get them off my feet. But they are not real practical for beach shoes. Surprisingly, they look okay on my feet. And luckily they are comfortable, aside from the sand getting in and chafing my heel raw. I tried them with socks and without. Socks helped the chafing but who wants to wear socks on the beach? I guess they'd be better for water sports that don't require a long walk on the sand. They seem true to size and width. There is some arch support and they do feel secure on my feet. They are soft and cushy.

These are great water shoes but they rubbed the back of my heels on a 4 mile hike.

I like my water shoes. Bought them specifically for a river float trip and for a later trip to Hawaii. They passed the test! I got them about a 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear. They fit great and stayed on well. These are not the style of shoe I would ever think of wearing for anything but the water, but I think I can take these on vacation to Hawaii and make them work for tours that might allow water and beach time and wear something more supportive and safer than flip flops! I only wish they were a more neutral color. The other color available were too green so I like these much better...still would have liked a tan or light gray that way they would go with more things. Purple is kind of limiting!

Many outdoor shoes decide to let me slide, slip, fall, trip and feet wet during my outdoor activities. But this pair did a good job on gripping my feet to the ground and moved with ease. The design helped drain out unneccesary water to keep my feet dry. The only problem I encountered was that the debris trapped inside the shoes. Nevertheless, I enjoyed outdoor activities with them!

These were for my wife. In her words: Super comfortable when trying them around the house. Unfortunately the front of the shoe is extra wide -- great if you have an extra toe -- that's how much space is in front. I am not exaggerating. At a size 9 I looked like a clown. I returned them. Love Zappos for their free shipping and returns.

Bought these shoes for a trip to San Diego in the near future. Started wearing them to get used to. Very comfortable, lightweight. Because they are open it does help your feet stay cool, but because they are made of rubber or whatever you want to call it, feet get a little sticky on the soles. Have not blistered in them though which is great for long walks which is what I bought them for.

The Omnium sandals fit well (especially the good width for my aging feet), and are very sturdy and well made. But I'm experiencing some rubbing on my heels, which wants to cause blisters. The zigzag stitching around the ventilation openings seems to be a big part of the problem. I applied Moleskin to the inside of the heel of the shoe, which seems to be helping. All this may be just part of the break-in process.

We are taking a trip to Mexico and will be hiking in the mountains, playing on the beach, swimming in the ocean, kayaking, and all other sorts of fun things.
However, we didn't want to bring swim shoes, hiking boots, sneakers, etc. We have little room in which to pack our travel gear and so we need a one size fits all (pun intended) shoe that was all terrain and the Teva product seems to fit the bill.
The shoe is light, well made, and fits true to size, though I have wide feet and so they were a bit snug for me but otherwise comfortable. They let plenty of air in and felt and looked great with and without socks. They dried quickly, didn't weigh you down when wet.
One thing, at least with this particular model, that I didn't like is that the clips feel like they are on the wrong side of the shoe. I prefer to take my shoes on and off by unsnapping the clip, but they are awkward to reach since they are on the opposite side of your foot (maybe I'm not describing this well enough) but trust me it was a bit of a bummer.
Other than that, I'd HIGHLY recommend these hiking sandals to my friends and family and will definitely be taking these, and only these, on my trip.

Love them.
Durable.
Hate the smell after they've been wet but all water shoes have the same problem. Wish I knew how to kill it though.

Comfortable fit, light on the feet and dries quickly, but the back of the sandals kind of hurts the back of your ankle when sandals are in water.

Bought these for a trip to Puerto Rico and they held up great. Took a hike through the rain forest and waded under a water fall. The traction held up wading through the streams. All around good and comfortable shoe with a lot of support if you plan on hiking.

The only problem I have with Teva Shoes is that they make only one width and I wear EEEE width. Consequently, I am forced to buy shoes that are too long, just so I can get closer to the appropriate width. So many companies do the same thing and Teva is the only one I still purchase from. It is harder and harder to wear even the extra sized Tevas but I am trying.

I originally got these shoes to wear for activities that require a good sneaker/walking shoe but also may get wet. I used to wear water sock type shoes but they would get sand in them and wouldn't dry out quickly. Also, they aren't very supportive for active walking or activities. And they look dumb (IMHO). So I found these shoes and they were exactly what I needed. I used these for jet skiing, light hiking to waterfalls, kayaking, etc. When everyone else is struggling in their flip flops, I am safe and secure in my Tevas. The problem came when shortly after I received the first pair of shoes, the sole started to come loose. Then it totally came halfway off and they were unwearable. My husband also has a pair and his is doing the same thing. So I inquired to Teva about replacement and they were great. I just received a new pair and used them on vacation last week to go sailing and snorkeling. The customer service rep said older models had the glue issue but the new ones are ok. So, I will have to wait and see how these hold up. Overall, they are a very versatile and comfortable shoe.

One of my toes pokes out. You should make the part that covers the toes longer (it should go further on the top of the shoe)

The sole on my frist pair spearated from the body...after modest wear. I glued it on three different tiomes then gave up and bought another pair. Very comfortable, broad areas of use (daily in town, Grand Canyon, hiking and rapelling)just not as durable as I would like.

Great product, comfortable enough even for biking (flat pedal, light off-road). The only con found is the outside materials that wear out fast if you combined wet usage too often. CHoice of colors also nice. Once you set or fix all fasteners (string & velcro), the rest is easy. Just slip the foot into this Teva and clip to lock.
