I love Teva! I have some like this, and was hoping these would be the same. Not quite. There is more adjustment for the top strap, and also one at the heel. I found they weren't as comfortable as mine, particularly because the top of the shoe at the heel bit in at the back of my heel. Hoping I can find ones just like mine, as I wear them almost every day. They are comfortable for walking in all day.

So far, the Omnium is working out well for me. I was worried because some reviewers found the shoe stiff around the ankles and it gave them blisters. That hasn't been my experience, maybe because I wear socks. I had a credit from Teva because another of their products was defective and I used the credit to purchase the Omnium and it is working out well so far. I appreciate the cutouts which keep my feet cool and decrease the weight of the shoe. I'm not giving it five stars until I know the shoe will last for a couple of seasons.

I love the shoe...just disappointed that my socks get wrinkled when I pull the shoe on.

Cute shoe. I wanted these to work. But hard to get and out of them. Not good for the airport thing!

I normally wear a Dansko 38 and an 8 for tennis shoes. With socks, these fit well. Barefoot some extra space in the toe. However, there is a clasp that makes it just right. I bought these for water sports, walking in creeks..good for keeping the shoe on my foot rather than worrying about velcro coming undone with swimming and floating away.

These are cute and should be comfortable but the pair I got was defective - the fit around the ankle was so tight it couldn't possibly fit anyone. It was at least a half inch smaller circle than the same size pair in another color. Had to return.

I did not find these true to size, but much too long in the toe box, so I ordered half a size down (from an 8½ to an 8) and they fit much better. I like the adjustments across the top to allow width/cinching in. They do rub across the backs of my heels. I think this will go away with wearing - I have to leave bare floors and carpet at some point! Fingers crossed on that. The arch support is great. They are attractive, sturdy and ready for summer wear.

I usually wear a 9½ or 10M. I ordered a 10 and they fit me very well. I really liked how the fit can be adjusted, and they did not make my size 10 feet look gigantic. I ordered the stone color, which is a good neutral. Very nice casual, comfortable shoes to wear when sandals are not enough. But, the back of the shoe has a bit of a curve to it, and it rubbed most annoyingly on the back of my ankle. I knew it would not work, so I regretfully returned these. I ordered the Keen Whispers which arrived yesterday, and so far they are more comfortable.

I have had a few pairs of these because I truly like its design and fit. Good heel support makes these more versatile than other trekking sandals.
Unfortunately, I have had delamination issues with the sole due to bad adhesive manufacturing.

This is my every day, can-do-everything adventure shoe. Wet, dry, hiking, kayaking, this shoe can do it all. They dry quick so getting wet is no problem. I wear them without socks and they do smell a bit now ;-) I had to get them a size smaller than I normally would buy, as they fit large. The holes are a pain, as they let sand, stones, sticks in. It would be better of the holes were closed off with a durable, quick-draining mesh to keep the debris out. The clasp is a pain, a laced closing like the Kimtah would be better. The sole is great! Very comfortable for long periods, great toe protection, great grip on rocks and in the wet. I love the sole and the 'wet' performance, but the holes and the clasp need re-thinking.

My favorite TEVA is Dozer but apparently that one is no longer available. I bought this one because it looks close. I like it although it is higher on my instep than I like but it's comfortable and will just take a little getting used to.

Like previous reviewers have mentioned, this shoe is very hard on the heel and rubbed blisters onto my ankles. I am wearing bandaids and trying to break them in, as the previous ones that I had were much softer on the ankle and a I hope these will soften with wear. I love these shoes and they are otherwise so comfortable and great for walking. I wore my last pair when we went to the Galopagus and I am hoping that this new pair will work as well when they are broken in. If they continue to rub my ankles I will have to consider returning them, something I really don't want to do.

Bought these shoes for hiking in Honduras and Costa Rica. Very sturdy and very grippy, they are a solid shoe with a proper thick sole rather than a lightweight sandle. have swam in rivers, hiked up mountains, climbed up rocks and done white water rafting in them. Great quality, go anywhere shoe. However, I did get some nasty heel blisters fairly quickly. I would recommend wearing them around the house for a few weeks with a pair of thick socks to break them in before heading out on the trail. I'll be doing just that before my next trip.

I bought these shoes for a trip, and was very satisfied. They were very comfortable for walking, with a firm but comfortable sole. Went to a beach and got them wet; water drained out and they were dry in a few hours. I thought the style and color were as good as possible for this type of shoe.

Still up in the air on these...they came today, I was excited because post kids my feet have spread but I can't do 1/2 size bigger because of length so my teeny 5's have a lot of trouble with tight uncomfortable shoes! I was encouraged about the wide toe box & sure enough, they are really roomy in there if you don't have super narrow feet. However, at least on my size, the opening is really small! I had to seriously squeeze one of my feet in to get the thing on, there is barely any give/stretch and I don't think my feet are that ridiculously big and I don't have a high instep or issues like this with other shoes. The other thing is that because of the width I feel a little duck foot-y in them, like my feet look really wide & big, and since I'm obviously quite short, I am still deciding how I feel about the look. I asked my husband what he thought & he hesitated for several seconds until saying, um, I like them? So I will have to try them a few more times with different pants/shorts/etc. before making a decision I think.

Look adjustable but they are not. Love Tevas, maybe needed a larger size. Cannot wear socks with them, would be too loose without socks in a larger size.

I find the buckle placement over the instep awkward. I tend to cross my legs to secure the buckle and this makes it difficult to reach. If the buckle were on the opposite side it would be much easier. Also, this product gave me heel blisters the first time I wore them, but I'm hoping this will improve as they break in. Otherwise very comfortable and with excellent traction and stability. This is my 4th set of Tevas in the last two years, over which time I've lost 135 lbs and turned my health around. Tevas are my primary walking gear and I've covered literally thousands of miles wearing them.

I thought from the review that I would love these, but not so. I found them hard to get into and need something easy to get on. They are really cute though. The color is really gray and dark purple, not ivory and pink as it appears.

I ordered this shoe to take on a trip to Peru and the Galapagos. I wanted a shoe that I could wear comfortably tromping around ruins, on city tours, and on the beaches. I only wanted to have to wear hiking boots for serious hiking like Machu Picchu Mountain. This shoe has accomplished all that, and there was virtually no break in time. The shoe is comfortable, and adjustable with velcro straps, which helps when you want to wear it one day with socks, and the next day without. The sides are open which worried me a bit, but I have now worn it twice while it was raining, and my feet were the warmest part of me, and completely dry. Because it's made of a synthetic material it can get a little sticky, but the openings help with that. They are not the most stylish of shoes; I wear a size 5 and they are a bit wide, and make my feet look like platypus feet. They look the widest at the top of the foot, and I can move my foot over to one side, and you can see that there is about a quarter to half inch of space. This has not affected comfort, however, as by now I have worn them all over Peru, including climbing through ruins and on mountains on a daily basis, and my feet have not gotten tired at all. When I get home, I will wash them, and I am sure they will come through that with flying colors! I recommend these shoes.

I bought these shoes for my Galapagos trip (leaving next week). So far my time in them has been around the house as I waited to decide to keep them. The plus for me is that they are a solid shoe with good foot coverage. I have been wanting a good camp shoe for hiking and a good shoe for canoeing; one that you can beach the canoe and hike into the woods a bit as well. I tried some sandals but worried the straps would stretch when wet and wouldn't feel as solid in the water on my foot. I also appreciate the ease of setting the fit on this shoe and then just 'clipping' in and out rather than resizing each time you put them on. I also LOVE the amount of places to setthe fit: heel, ankle, foot width. It allows it to accomodate wearing socks (horror to my daughters!) or barefoot and the swelling of feet throughout the day and after a long hike. My only isse is, being a waterproof shoe, the sole is not as comfortable to my bare foot. The tread inside the shoe causes some friction but not enough to cause discomfort or a blister; just not as comfortable as a 'squishy' flip flop!

I like the look of these; they have a sneaker look to them without being hot like sneakers. They are comfortable for the most part. However, they do rub a bit at the heel strap on my right foot, because of the way that part slants inward toward the foot. I had to put some anti-rub tape(?) on that area. I don't have the problem with the left foot, although both sandals bend in the same way. It's getting better though after wearing it a few times. I also experienced some rubbing on the outside edge a bit until they were broken in more. The first few times I wore them I could not wear them all day like I have been able to with other Teva sandals I've had. All in all I do like them and am happy with my purchase.

Feels and looks a bit too wide on the toe side. Have to stop to remove small rocks and sand which gets trapped inside, so not extremely too comfortable on a beach walk. Perfect for other types of hiking - bush walk, forest etc. Great on a plane!

Love the color, love the fit with the exception of the strap across the instep. I have a high instep and the strap just doesn't work for me. So as much as I love the look and the rest of the feel, I have to return them.
