In shoes, I go for comfort, so my wife usually just rolls her eyes. But these feel good and look good. I wear a partial insert, which these sandals accommodate without being obvious. I give them an A.

Water shoe - I bought this shoe to use with my new kayak and I'm very happy with it. It's a remarkably supportive and comfortable shoe.

Very light and comfortable to certain extent. The stiches in the heel strap tend to irritate the skin after prolonged wear.

Though lightweight, with great airflow, and wider than many other Teva sandals (which I appreciated), I found the heel abrasive even after loosening the heel strap. I'm a size 13, so perhaps in this sandal a 13.5 would have been more comfortable, but unfortunately such a beast does not exist.

Great water shoe for hiking and water sports. The traction and comfort was great for a five mile hike through woods, paths, mud, and creeks. The closed toe is a nice safety feature, but it does capture some sand and potentially small rocks during the hike. Had to take it off to shake out to keep the comfort level high for the five miles. Probably wouldn't use it for anything longer.

Bought these for my teen son for our recent trip to Disney. They fit and look great. He loves them, but they hurt around the sides of his feet by the end of the day. Granted, we did a lot of walking, so I'll just say they're not good for that. He still loves them, he just wears them with socks now.

My new Tevas fit perfectly, they came the day after I ordered them. Tevas are the most comfort I can find in a sandal. Thank you Zappos.

Bought these sandals a year ago. They are some of the most comfortable sandals I've owned. I wear them everywhere. Easily adjustable to fit. Only cons are odor after a week or two of wearing and slow drying after a walk on the beach and in the water.

Bought this shoe for fording rivers while hiking. It's great because it's lightweight and has a protected toe and heel. It also seems to be durable. Overall, I'm happy with it.

These sandals are incredibly comfortable: I was able to walk 3 miles on the first day and 5 on the second, before a very slight friction made me decide to stop. From the third day onward, no discomfort whatsoever, even at the 20-mile mark, with no breaks. Although they are not very airy, they don't cause much sweating, and don't get smelly. At times, little pebbles do get trapped inside, but simply lifting the heel and shaking the afflicted foot is usually enough to let them right out. Walking on the beach is best done barefoot, or one would soon be dragging around several pounds of sand. The rubber sole has a good grip, and doesn't leave marks. What prevents me from giving top marks is the fact that the right sole started coming unglued within the first week, at the junction between the upper, lighter, layer, and the bottom one. True, by then I had put on about 50 miles on the shoes, but even so, it was disappointing. The left sandal held on for about a month, before displaying the same issue. At any rate, once glued back together, they haven't presented any more problems. I have had them now for 4 months, about 700-800 miles (I do enjoy walking); I work out with them, hike trails, wade rivers (they dry somewhat quickly when worn, overnight if taken off), and the soles are starting to be a bit smooth. I would say in another couple of months they will be threadbare, but that's a couple-hundred miles away. Would I buy them again? I just did. I compare them to the Keens I had a while ago, and they are decidedly better, since the Keens soles split in half after a few months.

I've had the TEVA Omniums about a month and I like them. Cool and comfortable and pretty good looking. The leather version looks a little dressier.

Great Value for Beach Running - I am very happy with this product. It is a little warm, but considering that I wanted a sandal with a toe, that was to be expected. Great value and very comfortable overall. With minimal break-in period, it was comfortable for running at the beach and still was acceptable look wise for casual evening dining.

Knowing what you want them for is critical for your selection. This Teva shoe is good for flat hard ground walking although hiking in water, sand or sleet not flat surface led to tearing off the skin on my heal, just above heal and top of toes (2nd skin, tape and band aids became a common occurrence). Maybe the 1.5 wk break in period was not enough before using them regularly.

Very comfortable. The only reason I down rate them is for durability issues. Like a lot of folks, I find that the soles become de-laminated at the various joints. I have worn them occasionally over the last two years, but never subjected them to hiking, rock scampering or other rough activities. If they could improve the durability, this would be 5 stars all across.

The styling is nice, given it's a cross-over sandal/shoe. The sole is very soft and cushioning. The neoprene uppers are snug on the foot. With all the adjustments it's really easy to make these hug the foot well. Though I have two major issues...the sole has weird profile. Almost no arch support, and a rise on the outside side of the shoe. This has got to be a flaw - it could have been just my pair or they really don't work with bony feet and high arches like mine. The color I ordered, chocolate was insipid indoors, and became a pale-green khaki in daylight. It really was revolting. Others love these sandals, so take this review in context!

Cheap and shoddily made, with badly glued seams where the sole meets the side straps. I could feel the blisters forming after wearing them for a few minutes. Inspecting them I found rough, poorly cut edges on the insole that immediately began abrading my foot. I owned a pair of closed-toed tevas that I wore for six years that were high quality and indestructible. These are terrible and useless for outdoor activity. Returned.

Loved them until the little darker part of the back heel started to come loose from the rest of the sole. Used exterior double-sided tape to hold it on for a time, but it only held for awhile. The darker part wore thin and came loose. Other than that, they're okay.

Disappointed in the Omniums. I bought them to wear on the various but hot and wet terrains of Costa Rica. They took a long time to dry (and were not so good at killing odors, no matter what kind of improbably antimicrobial fibers they're made of, and my shoes don't smell normally), which was a minor annoyance but the real problem was that they chewed up my heel. It was so painful to walk by the end of the trip that I was walking with my heel over the back, like as slippers, so they were not a great help when climbing rocks or doing other activities where you actually need your shoes to perform and stabilize you. My friend got a pair as well and he had the same problem. I think it's at least partly due to the water retention, which caused friction, and it was such a nice addition to my trip to scream in pain every time my open-sored heels went into salt water. They also run big so get at least a half size smaller than your sneakers, and if you do buy them, carry band-aids. Ow!

Do not buy this Teva's sandal! I can't believe Teva's still has this shoe on the market. I have always been a Teva's fan, but this shoe falls apart immediately. I wore this sandal brand new out of the box around the lake, and literally after 2 days of just wearing it in the water and around the dock, the sole began to peel away from the rest of shoe. It started at the toe and after the third day, the sole was half way off of the shoe and could not be worn. There was not anything rough about the treatment of the shoe either- it was simply exposed to fresh water. The shoe is exactly what I wanted out of a water sandal if it had not fallen apart. The worst part is that I had read similar reviews about the sole coming off, but thought that it must have been a freak incident because I had so much faith in the Teva's brand, and purchased the sandal anyway. I'm hoping I can get my money back. I have had two pairs of Teva's in the past 10 years with no problems. I am very disappointed in Teva's for not making a better product, and for still allow customers to repeat this bad experience. There is no way that Teva's is not aware of this problem, yet they have not recalled it. A Keen sandal will be a great alternative.

The outsoles of both shoes started peeling off within 3 days. Bought them for a bare boating trip and they worked and fit great on the boat, hiking ashore, etc. I was loving them.

After wearing these shoes for one season, the outer soles came completely unglued. I did not ever get them completely wet. I was shocked at how poorly the outer sole was glued, but this did not show up until one year later. Unfortunately, the one year period for returning them was past. I do not recommend this shoe to anyone. Cheap shoes I have purchased form 'big box' stores have held up better than these.

2nd pair of this shoe...1st pair, size 10, wore them forever. 2nd pair, went up 1/2 size just for a little more room. Either work great. Out of the box they aren't as comfy, once you get them adjusted properly and soften the insole a bit, they rock. Also have Keen H2 original, also great, but Teva way more comfy and look a little more presentable. Switch them out all the time, wear them until they fall apart, even a little after at times...

I bought these for my husband and he is very happy with them. Well made, sturdy, good grippy soles, and very comfortable. Overall, just what I expect from Teva.

I am very happy with these half shoe/half sandals. They are light weight yet provide excellent support and comfort. They seem well constructed of quality materials, and have three separate adjustments of fit. While wearing them my heel pain from plantar fasciitis goes away!
