I've worn Teva sandals before and loved them. So, I felt no hesitation in ordering these without trying them on first. However, this particular style has proven to be very uncomfortable. The slightly elastic fabric that surrounds your ankle and achilles tendon doesn't stretch enough to prevent the fabric from digging in to your skin. And the side straps have given me blisters each time I've worn these. Would not recommend these.

I bought these for my husband to be his shoes for warm weather outdoor activities (fishing, hiking, etc.) because they're made to handle getting wet. He tried them on when they arrived and they seemed great: felt good, comfortable. And then we wore them. The first time was fine, no complaints. The second time, they gave him a blister on the back of his heel. We thought, ok, well, he just needs to break them in a little. He wore them a few more times and they still irritated his heel. I told him to give his heel a break, to let it heal up completely before our trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. He did this, but then the heel strap was so uncomfortable just while driving to our vacation (about 6 hours) that he had to unstrap the sandals while driving. And then came the huge blister on his heel while hiking. He powered through and we put some of those blister Band-Aids on it, but still. A sandal that is supposed be all about comfort should not rub to the point of blisters after several wears. Unfortunately, this expensive sandal will now be relegated to short activities like cutting the grass. We'll be replacing these with a pair of Keens for him to use for more strenuous activities like hiking. Needless to say, we're pretty disappointed!

Pointlessly heavy. My New Balance lace-up trail shoes weight about 5 oz, these are 13.5 per shoe. Too thick, too rigid

Not really comfortable without socks and rough edges on the insides.

Very comfortable, worked well on a rafting trip. However, after the water exposure one shoe's sole delaminated. Glued the sole back, so far okay. If you are prepared to repair the delamination, I recommend these shoes.

These were great for almost a year when the sole started pealing off the shoe. I tried to glue them back on with no success. I only wore these sailing a couple of hours a week so it isn't like they wore out. They just fell apart.

Well, after reading some reviews, I thought I\'d role the dice. Unfortunately, as several people mentioned, the bottom of the shoe started peeling off after wearing them only 2 or 3 times. I\'m pretty disappointed, because other than that they were a great water sandal. I\'m going to write Teva and see what\'s up!

I loved the look and comfort of this shoe but I spend a lot of time on the beach and in water with them and after one season they fell apart. The sole simply came unglued and I was a bit disappointed.

I purchased 2 pairs of this same shoe 2 years ago for a vacation trip where a lot of walking would be involved. I have never had a pair of shoes fit so well and be so comfortable as soon as I put them on. Since that trip, I have literally walked the tread off of them. I purchased 2 more pair. Big mistake. The materials now being used feel and seem to be much cheaper. The shoes will only be worn for short outings, not the work horses the original ones were. The new version may be more profitable to make with cheaper materials, but when no one wants to purchase them, I would assume that would be a problem.

I bought these shoes for a six day 5 night rafting trip on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. The shoes were used on the raft, in the river and on short hikes. The clip on the right shoe locked on day 4. I was able to remove and install the shoe using the strap attached to the clip. The sole did not grip rocks firmly on the short hikes and I slipped a few times. I previously used Chacos in a similar setting and they did not slip. I would have loved the shoes had the clip not locked up. The clips were one of the reasons why I bought the shoe. I felt the adjustable strap on the clip would allow me to keep a tight fit after going through rapids.

The elastic on the heel tends to make the ankle supports dig in, and the velcro strap on the heel causes scrapes and blisters. Not at all comfortable; I find these unwearable.

I abused these shoes for about two years. Camping, canoeing, Disney and all summer long. one day the sole peeled off almost to the heel. A week later the other one peeled off. I used contact cement to put them back together but I was disappointed. A little more quality would have gone a long way.

Teva Omnium sandals were the most comfortable pair of sandals I have owned until after only 1 month the flaps on the rear sole started separating from the shoe then after a couple more weeks the front and rear sole started to do it too. Major quality/construction flaw. Waiting to hear back from Teva.

Hate to be a basher here, but a recent development with my Teva Omniums compelled me to write a negative review. I loved wearing these sandals the last year. They were super comfortable and absolutely functional, until the sole of both sandals started a complete delamination from the body of the rest of the shoe. Both soles have come unglued and starting to flap at the toe and heel. Walking to the car today was the final straw when the entire sole of the left shoe came off. Wow. So, buyer beware here. Up until this event these were some of my favorite shoes ever, but the soles falling off a year after purchase is a deal breaker in my book. Plus, I see I bought these last summer, July 7th so I'm past the generous Zappos 365 day return policy. Ah, c'est la vie. I'd advise others to look elsewhere for a dependable sandal.

I've owned several pair of Teva sandals over the years. Overall they seem comfortable. However, my biggest complaint is that the soles fall apart after 2-3 year of wearing them in summer only. I wish Teva would use a solid sole or address the glue issue. I suspect the water is breaking down the adhesive. Lastly, I noticed my kid's Keen dry much faster. I hope Teva is listening.
