After reading about NYDJ, I decided to try a pair--tired of the muffin top that popped out of my other stretch jeans. I followed other reviews that suggested you order a size down--this did not work for me. I reordered in my usual size and the fit is fine. One complaint, the tummy tuck feature is not as strong as one would like--I find I look better in my jeans that have 1-2 percent spandex. NYDJ have 4 percent and end up bagging out after a few hours of wear. One great big plus for me--the length was excellent for my 5’6” frame. Are these jeans worth the price? That’s questionable.

I have 4 pairs of NYDJ and that is the only brad I wear or buy. On these the fit was fine in all other respects except they were 4 inches too long. I ordered a petite and they were fine.

These jeans used to fit great but as in most good clothing, the fit has changed and now is a terrible fit. I thought these jeans were made for women who do not want to wear "your daughter's jeans". Very disappointed and will not buy them again.

These might be the worst jeans I've ever owned, and expensive too. The waist is way too big, even ordering a size smaller. The legs fit fine, which is good, I have larger legs, but the overall feel is like I am wearing a big diaper . They are comfy (I suppose a diaper is too), in that they have no pinch marks, etc, but the waist rolls down easily because there is no structure whatsoever in the waistband (even being too big in the waist they roll down). I had purchased these years ago after having my son, and liked that they didn't pinch and bind around the post pregnancy belly, but even then I got tired of them. They have so much lycra in them that they just don't hold any shape at all. I was hopeful that several years later they would be better, but they weren't. I am hoping Zappos will at least give me a "store" credit.

Please do not be put off from NYDJ, this design is the exception rather than the rule. This particular design of NYDJ unfortunately uses a very thin fabric inferior to fabric in NYDJ original designs. If you need to hide any figure flaws; Sarah Classic Indigo 5 Pkt Boot Leg, SKU:#73726 39 is not the best item to choose. The wearer would be concerned at all times about what is showing that should not be.
