Anonymous from Alabama - I had heard a friend say that Rockports were the most comfortable shoe he had ever worn. Based on that recommendation and the shoe's good looks, I decided to give them a try. My take is that the shoes are relatively comfortable but they do not provide a lot of lateral support.

Rockport Eureka - Got these shoes for my husband, he wanted a leather shoe to wear outside (instead of mesh running shoes, since it’s for winter wear)...the tongue part is really padded well and they look smaller than his other sz 10s, definitely needs an additional cushioned innersole, he wears them all the time--nice looking shoe.

These are ok shoes, and I really wanted to like them. However, as at least one reviewer noted, the tongue dug into the top of one of my feet (the other one was fine). I decided to return them.

Not as durable as I would have liked. A scuff turned into a small hole. But I am hard to fit--I have a short, wide foot with a high instep. Rockport is one of the few brands that I have found that fit. Overall, I recommend it; but you will likely have to buy a pair every 9 to 12 months.

Comfortable and light weight. Good sole for carpet and driving. Not enough heel cushioning and height for serious walking or prolonged standing.

Good quality

The leather is very stiff, not very comfortable but it should soften with wear. The laces are too thick, have no wax and for my high instep they are too short. Had to order longer, thinner waxed laces. Decent at the sale price but no higher.

I had this same shoe from a few years ago and reordered. Now it is 0.25 inches narrower and it very tight for a size medium/D.

It may take more time getting comfortable wearing.

I purchased this shoe for my husband who works in sales and is on his feet 8-10 hours a day. Rockport has long had the reputation of being a shoe for comfort. According to my husband, this shoe works really well for about half that time, but after that, the comfort level wears down. This is not to say that they are totally uncomfortable, but there are probably very few shoes that will provide total comfort for the period he has to wear them. He does use a gel sole in them which helps. Overall, he is fairly pleased with them.

Very stiff. Not comfortable at all. Size 14 very hard to find in retail stores. I will search for something I like style in retail stores in 13 and then i will order from you if available in 14

It pinched the top of my foot which I believe is due to a bad design. I have always been a Rockport fan for 40 years. Disappointing that quality control has gone amiss.
