I had to purchase the kid's size Hunter boot but the Hunter socks were only offered in 1 size in kids and it was basically toddler size. My only option was to get the adult socks but only Medium and Larger are available. The Medium states shoe size 5-7 but it definitely errs on the larger size. I usually wear a 5 in women's and the socks are comically large. I have to fold the toe under once on my foot before putting the boot on so that the sock doesn't go up to my thigh. Better too big than too small, but would like an adult small option. Or a large kids option. I'm seriously planning on cutting off a couple inches on the sock and sewing it back together so it fits more appropriately and comfortably. The socks also seem to hold on to any sweat or condensation. They can take a while to dry out. Not terrible, but noticeable.

The socks are very warm without being bulky, and are an attractive shade of navy blue. They are a bit too roomy on my women's size 8.5 narrow-width foot. I am petite (5 ft 3 in.), and the socks are somewhat too long, so I have a good-sized cuff to roll over the boot top. Beyond those caveats I am pleased with these socks. The quality is good, and I think they will wear well.

Comfy, cozy and definitely worth having through the winter months. The socks are really more like boot liners instead of socks, they are not fitted to the foot. Plus, they're really fun and cute! :)

Bought my first pair of Hunter boots, and took my sister's advice to get the socks. I had a really hard time justifying the price for a pair of "socks," but it was well worth it! The socks are really a fleece lining. They make the boots more comfortable and will be great for cold days. I bought boots a half size up from what I normally wear, and with the socks, they fit perfectly.

I bought these welly socks to wear with my Kamik Jennifer boots after my feet were getting cold. I have the Kamik boots in a size 9 and bought the large welly socks and it's a really good fit. The only complaint I have is that the Charcoal color is not a dark grey. It's more like a light grey with browner hues. Almost a beige, really. I still liked the color so I kept them, but I was really surprised when I got them because it looked so much darker in the image on Zappos.

These ran really big more like a Christmas stocking to hang on the fireplace. I wear another pair of socks inside these! Also too short for the tall Hunters.

These socks are super comfy and fit in my high purple Hunter boots perfectly and definitely keep my feet cozy. However, I was disappointed in the color. They are not bright rubber duckie yellow. They're more of a dark mustard yellow that reminds me of an old baby's blanket. Really not as cute and bright as they appear.

These socks are "okay." I found them to be quite large and bunchy in the heel. I have to actually fold over the toe area a bit and then put my foot in the boot and usually takes a couple tries before it fits comfortably. I have only worn them a couple times on very chilly rainy days to keep my feet warm in my Hunters. I was originally going to return but they serve a purpose, though I feel they are very overpriced and I would not purchase again. Also, they pick up lint like crazy (black) so if you are thinking of buying a pair and have pets, consider a color to match their fur.

These socks are humongous. I wear a women's size 7 shoe. I got the smallest Wellies they make, but they are 1 1/2 inches too big all around! There's no way I can squeeze my foot into my very spacious Hunter boots wearing these bulky and humongous socks.

Really wanted to love these. The fleece feels so soft a cozy. But the large I ordered (I wear an 8), is just too loose on my feet so it bunches as I walk and the seams kind of slide around uncomfortably. I have a somewhat narrow and low-volume foot, so it's a problem being at the lower end of the size range. Wish these came in more sizes since they aren't a fitted, stretchy sock. I'm going to give them another shot by ordering the medium. My shoes are a UK 6/ USA women's 8, but I think I might like the socks to be a little more foot-fitting. We'll see. Also, I ordered the charcoal. I received a package called "medium gray," but it is, in reality, a light to medium taupe, not really gray at all, and certainly not the charcoal pictured. But it looked nice with my aubergine boots, so if they had fit, I would have kept them.

For the price, I expected a lot more than what I got. My biggest gripe about these socks is the seam that goes right down the middle! If I'm wearing a sock for long periods of time, I don't want bunching to occur and I certainly don't want to feel an uncomfortable seam. I'm a size 8 in the Original Tall boot and I probably could have ordered the women's medium (5-7) because the large was a bit too big on me. I like my socks to fit snug and these were just about falling off. Plus, I have ski socks that I've paid less for that are thicker and will suffice when the time comes for me to add a layer of warmth to my wellies. I probably would've kept these socks for the style factor if that darn seam didn't go right down the middle of my foot! I've been told in the past by podiatrists and other doctors (I have Reynaud's) that the slightest crinkle in a sock can cut off circulation in my foot and exacerbate the problem further. These socks would certainly be causing numbness in my feet and I can't have that in the winter.
