The Adidas GSG-9 Boots were designed for, and issued to, the German Polizei Special Service. They have excellent padding throughout and very good arch support, also true to size fitting. Another excellent product from Adidas! Zappos has the best prices in America!

I've had these boots for 9 years and think they're awesome, even still. I can wear them in the winter and, while they're not super warm, they definitely keep my feet warmer than sneakers. But they're most definitely waterproof and have kept my feet dry through all kinds of garbage weather. Once they break in they move and feel like sneakers - I feel agile in them, unlike other boots. They're not cheap, but they're totally worth it - especially considering that I've had them for 9 years already.

First off Iordered these boots at 1600 hrs and receieved them at 1739hrs the next day, perfect job zappos. Im in law enforcement and destroy boots to the point that I have 9 pairs in rotation and wanted to put these through the test. The gsg9.2 out of the box is confortable to the point i knocked out over 5 miles and didnt once feel the need to slip in my aetrex insoles at all. Living in florida I want my boits to do one thing and one thing only...be slip resistant. These boots do that to the max. 5 miles in the rain out of the box going from marsh to pavement and tile floors with out my feet coming from underme is amazing. With that being said these boots run at a weird temputure for your feet, they dont keep your feet super cool like the bates velocitors but you dont have hot feet to the point that you're counting down until you can rip these off they sit right inbetween. As for ankle support, holy crap these things feel like you have on an ankle brace that flexes with you not but not to the point where you know you could twist an ankle. Buy these asap they are worth every penny.

I purchased these boots over a year ago. I liked them, but they were a hassle to lace, so I stopped wearing them. On a whim, I purchased silicone no tie laces and headed out to the beach, thinking I'd toss them before coming back. Oh my, what a difference. I could slip the boot on and off and it was snug enough to stay on my feet. My shoes were in the salt water ocean, but my feet were dry. When I got home, I added the zip tie, and I'm a happy camper.
