I'm a tall female, and the men's 11.5 Keen fits me well. I have about 9 various styles of Keens, including Newport Hikers, but the Voyageur is a superior boot for me -- feels like a slipper! I already have many miles on them after just a few weeks. Unlike the Keen Newport hiker, the Voyageur is feather-light. It does offer less sole and thus probably less support; the base is narrower, and the sole is more flexible than the Newports. I can feel small rocks under my feet, but I actually prefer this to a stiff sole. And for hikes on improved trails, I don't need any more support. The laces are exceptional; easy to tighten and they stay tied. If you're looking for a Keen hiker that feels as good as your H2 sandals, this is the one. I will buy another pair of these Voyageurs very soon so I can alternate the two pairs.

I've probably gone through a dozen pairs of hike boots in the last 10 years, some a lot more expensive than this one, and this pair is easily the best I've found: super-comfortable, big toe box, just enough arch and support, strong lugs. Just got back from a hike that had plenty of climbing, slick rock, sand, and cobbly trails, and these boots really did the job. By the way: Zappos is incredible! I ordered the boots at about 6 p.m. last Thursday, got an email notification of a free shipping upgrade from Zappos an hour later, and the boots were delivered less than 24 hours after I ordered them! Fantastic.

Fast free shipping was great, boots look and wear fantastic. I ordered 1/2 size up and glad I did. Fit like a glove. Third pair of Keen's and won't be the last.

I bought these for my husband as a birthday present and he said they are the best hiking boots he\'s ever had! They are supportive and comfortable on all sorts of terrain. He absolutely loves them and hikes all the time now. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a good all around hiking boot.

Ouch! Can anyone keep their sizes consistent! I own now my third pair of Keen's low slip on shoes (Boston’s I think). They fit great and I take a 5E. My wife bought these Voyageurs for me for Xmas and I can't even get my foot in them! She even went a half size up. Very annoying.

I bought this boot to hike the Camino de Santiago...a 500mile pilgrimage in Northwestern Spain...and I did it wearing these boots...I am a woman with a wide foot and I was having no luck finding a boot wide enough for me and then I found this one...a men's boot. I was looking for a Woman's hiking boot in a 7 1/2 Wide...and WOW. I was very happy with this one...I did add intersoles...and I did walk the entire Camino...in these boots! Buen Camino

Overall, a great boot! Purchased for a week long hiking trip to Yellowstone. Very little break-in required. After a 5 hour hike on the first day, my feet felt great! Nice amount of room for my wide feet.

Great hiking boot. Perfect for the tropics. I I've put them to the test in Hawaii and they have been great for the last 3 months. Almost very hike they get soaked during stream crossings and remain comfortable and dry out nicely with in a day.

Awesome boots! Bought for a canoe trip in BWCA. Boots were in the water all week. Water drained right out, no mud/silt coming in, great support for portages. Dried out faster than anyone else boots. Very comfortable fit (they are Keens!). Highly recommend. I wear a 9 in my other Keen shoes, this boot was a 9.5 with a great fit.

Comfortable, but takes a week to break in around the ankle. I like them because they are not waterproof so the drain & dry faster when you are constantly going in water over the top of them.

I really like these boots. They are as comfortable as my other 2 pairs of Keen Voyageurs, but they seem even better-built. The others I keep going with Shoe-Goo, since their glue had a tendency to break down after a lot of heavy use (well worth the effort), but this pair seems more solid, and the laces are just the right length, and the size is just right! I did put in some inserts to give them a little more cushion. Zappos, of course has great service, and a great return policy, though I have yet to use it.

This shoes are great but I don\'t know what is happening with the sole rubber and glue. I\'m ready to ship back a 2nd pair with sole separation problem. Keen needs to solve this issue.

I thru-hiked the AT and racked up 1,000+ miles between 2 pairs of these (started with different shoes). I am a woman but the women's Keen's were too narrow for my feet, so the men's were a perfect fit. Most comfortable hiking shoe in over 2,000 miles of hiking. The only bad thing is the lack of traction on wet rocks, but I continue to hike in these.

Good shoes, but not for me and I love Keens. Tight and uncomfortable around the ankle, even when not laced tightly. My friend got these and loves them, but for me the ankle was very uncomfortable, too stiff. A nice shoe otherwise, narrower than some Keens. If I were going to keep them I'd exchange for a half size up. I have wider feet with high arches, so that might be why I'd need a half size up. My friend has narrower feet and hers fit true to size.

Not what it used to be... The Keen Voyageur Mid is / was my go-to footwear. I can't tell you how many pairs I've purchased and worn until the tread was worn through. Now, it appears that Keen has decided to cut costs on this model and it shows. The overall fit is tighter than it used to be, both in the length and width. The padding is thinner, and the sole just doesn't feel the same. I can feel everything I'm walking on, through the sole. Comparing this new pair of Voyageur Mids to my previous pair, you can see where the patterns are cut smaller, and all the other details have been made smaller and thinner. I'm so bummed out. This is boot that I would have paid more for, just to keep it the same. No it looks like I'll have to find a replacement, whether it's a different model of Keen boot or a different brand altogether. So, if you're looking to replace your worn out pair of Keen Voyager Mids, you may want to look elsewhere.

Generally light and comfortable, somewhat unattractive (but that matters little to me). The reason they were returned is this: After wearing them indoors for a day to test the fit, I began to feel a rubbing against the top of my toes on one side. When I felt inside the toe box, I found a bump/wrinkle, which is present in both shoes, and is part of the design and construction. That would cause a serious problem after a day or two of hiking, so that rules them out for me.

...now wearing third day, and another thing I love about these has come to my notice... The toebox on these boots is the best I have ever experienced. The toe section is more 'squared-off' than any shoe or boot I have ever worn. Meaning that my toes are not scrunched or crowded... I can wiggle my toes freely, as if I was barefoot, yet the remainder of the upper fits as if they were custom fitted to my feet. This newfound 'toe-freedom' is a godsend for me... HIGHLY recommended! Ordered 10.5 for my size 10 street-shoe feet and they fit perfectly.

These are wonderful! I went hiking in these out of the box. I know, that was a dumb decision, but I did not have much a choice. They were incredibly comfortable, required no breaking in, and the laces stayed tight all the time. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a comfortable fit for a great price!

I wore my last pair of Voyageur Mids for almost 3 years, and many days of the week. The heel soles were beginning to wear out, and that's the only reason I bought new ones. The new Keens broke in nicely. My only observation is that the new shoe laces are about 6 inches shorter than my older ones - or maybe the old Keen shoe strings were just 6 inches longer!? In any case, the older laces are in excellent shape after 3 years, so I could just swap them over. My older Keens are now my 'work' shoes, and my new ones are for dress. I love them - and great work Zappos! Note: the arch support seems only 'moderate', and I enjoy Dr. Scholl's arch supports in them.

For us these are not used for hiking. My husband works as a machinist on his feet all day long. This is a shoe we have bought multiple times as it gives him the comfort and support he needs. As a diabetic , it has also been helpful keeping his foot pain at a minimum.
