I just ordered my second pair of these shoes. The first ones lasted for two years. They fit great, are lovely, and are very comfortable. I have worn them a lot. They go well with dressy things and slightly casual things (capris, suits, and dressy dresses). Towards the end, I was having to get the straps repaired often. But this was after 1½ years of wearing them regularly. I love them.

I have a narrow heel and was concerned about some previous reviews but ordered anyway because of the liberal return policy. I wore them all day today and the heel strap never slipped and they are so comfy! I will wear them all summer!

I love the way these shoes look. But, unfortunately they are not comfortable. The straps do not sit in a comfortable place across my toes. So, my toes and the top of my feet hurt. I'm hoping that, in time, they will be more comfortable to wear. I wear a lot of Pliner shoes. I love most of them. I am disappointed with these.

Best sandal summer 2008 - I love these sandals. The arch support is surprisingly good and the fit is perfect. They're sophisticated and look good with both skirts and jeans. I bought the beige patent which seems to go with everything. Pliner does it again! Zappos is my favorite site!

Great sandal! I love these sandals. They feel good, they look good and they're chic. The foot bed is especially comfortable and gives good arch support. I was able to wear them for 8 hours at work without pain, admittedly thanks to a spray of shoe stretch on the inside of the straps. Thank you Zappos for being the best in service and selection.

Cute! Very comfortable sandal and perfect height and I can walk around in these all day! I love that you can wear these with a skirt or with jeans. The only issue I have with them sometimes is the heel strap falls down. I haven't had a problem with the soles.

Spectacular! These shoes are wonderfully fashionable and oh-so comfortable. They're perfect for skirts and cropped pants, and I suspect they'll be my go-to sandal all summer long. It's a pleasure to do business with Zappos!

A shoe for all occasions - At last, a platform shoe done right. Just enough height and stability. I could run in these shoes - but instead, I wear them with dress slacks, capris and dresses. The patent upper saves these little beauties from "boring".

Great shoe - Comfortable, excellent for a narrow foot with a low instep. Looks great with both skirts and pants.

Perfect for all occasions! I wore these on vacation and walked for miles and miles in them. I also wore these to a wedding. I have relatively wide feet from pavement pounding, but still can wear regular width shoes. Occasionally, this is a problem with straps that go across the foot, but this was not encountered with this shoe. I live for comfortable shoes since I stand or walk all day. Zappos had the best price for them.

More than just a sandal! It's a fashion statement... I am a very fussy sandal selector and these are extraordinary. I have a foot problem and these are truly very comfortable.

Great sandal, so comfortable! Pretty sandals--not to high, graceful looking. Perfect for dresses, as well as, jeans. No break-in period needed--comfortable on first wearing. Fits narrow feet really well.

Looks good and very comfortable! Own several pairs of D. Pliners and they are all comfortable - didn't even have to break them in. Would love to own one of these in the bronze color but the price is a little prohibitive.

Great sandal! Stylish, yet comfortable for city walking! Donald J. Pliner has a great footbed. I find his sandals so easy to wear.

Comfort and Style - Love these shoes and bought in 2 colors. Bought a silver similar D. Pliner sandal last year and loved it so much that looking for similarity.

Great shoe - Unfortunately, I am returning it because it doesn't have a rubber sole ... something I rather require in a platform. Otherwise, I love this and it is of course the usual high quality and comfort you'd expect from Donald J Pliner, one of my favorite shoemakers. As with everyone else, only one heel strap kept slipping. Within a month the buckle strap snapped and I noticed also one strap across the foot pulling away from the side strap. It’s too bad as these are comfortable and have the look I love. Obviously we have all paid for the name and not quality workmanship.

Perfect summer shoe - A very comfortable summer shoe that also provides enough support for my "problem" feet. I cannot wear heels--only wedges and platforms. This shoe is perfect for summer, light enough in appearance to look good with dresses and skirts while still providing some height. I am going to buy another pair in a different color.

Love the look - My shoes are almost all Pliners and Cole Haans and I love them. This shoe looks really, really cute, but isn't quite as comfortable as most of my others. I think it is because of the platform with the slick bottom. Also, as one other reviewer reported, the back strap tends to slide down the back of my heel, which is very annoying. I do have narrow feet and a narrow heel.

Almost Fabulous - These shoes look great but they are slightly less comfortable than other Pliner shoes I've worn. They are also very clunky feeling when walking, perhaps a bit heavier than I was expecting.

Beautiful shoe - This shoe is beautiful and the footbed is oh-so-comfortable! The platform is lightweight and the sole has very comfortable padding. Unfortunately, I had to return these because the back strap (that goes around the heel) kept falling down.

Although these shoes look great on, the back strap slips off. I finally had to take them to a cobbler and he tightened up the straps for me.
