ASICS GT-2130 - I love these shoes and I love Zappos!!! Before learning of this website I had thought only New Balance athletic shoes in widths. My kids gave me a gift cert. to Zappos. I was able to research to see what shoe would be best for my slightly pronating difficult feet!! The thing that sold me on these was that they were so lightweight - nine ounces!! The cushioning is super, I put them on and they are the most comfortable running shoes I have EVER worn!!

LOVE IT! As a woman with a size 9 ½ wide foot, I am happy to find something that looks good, feels good and my husband doesn't make fun of me because I am wearing a man's shoe and looking like I am "about to tip over." Yes, a little tight across, but I took previous advice - ordered half a size up and just wear the laces looser! And gotta love Zappos service - the best online shopping anywhere.

LOVE THIS SHOE - This shoe is incredible. After being very disappointed by ordering another pair that was on a "recommended list" (but not worried about returning it because of Zappos policy), I went back to my tried and true ASICS and this shoe delivered. Great arch support, not too cushiony (which lessens injuries), great heel support and room in the toe box even for the 2A size. Plus, I'm a mild overpronator and this shoe lands my foot perfectly in stride. I'm faster on sprints and more stable on the run. Plus, it transitions well during my interval training class without sacrificing too much stability. YEAH! A winner! Buy it!

Kept me from surgery - This is my third pair of ASICS and the pleasure of having them delivered over night by Zappos is awesome!! I was taught about ASICS when I was having severe foot pain and recommended to have surgery. I no longer have foot pain and I work 12 hr shifts--three in a row, so my shoes must be comfortable and durable. ASICS fit the bill and look great in the process.... MY SHOE OF CHOICE!!!! Thanks Zappos!

Looking for the perfect Shoe - These are really great shoes. The only negatives are that they are a little stiff at first and that they are not much for inclimate weather. Avoid any rain or snow on the ground because it soaks right into your socks. Otherwise, very comfy shoes.

This shoe has changed my life! I was in agony with right foot pain and guys from my local (very expensive) store put me in this shoe. I LOVE it! My pain is gone! Thanks Asics for this WONDERFUL product! Thank you Zappos for the great price!

Cute and comfy! I have worn Asics for years as a daily around the house/walking/active shoe. I am an overpronator with a slightly narrow foot (I order the B width) and lower arch and Asics fit my feet the best. I didn’t notice any difference between the arch support on this shoe and previous versions of Asics -- if the support wasn't there, my knees and back would start to hurt, and so far they're both fine. The only reason I have ever looked at another brand was for style reasons, but I always end up buying the Asics because I know they work the best for me. I am happy to say these are the cutest Asics I've owned, and I think they're going to look really good with spring/summer colors. (I bought the turquoise/midnight combination.)

Asics GT-2130 - These are good shoes - they look a little big, but feel great. As always, Zappos service is speedy and hassle-free.

Stylish sneakers - I ordered a size bigger since they are running shoes and they are very comfortable. They stay comfortable throughout a long walk/run and they are very light on your feet.

Very comfortable - Other reviewers said these shoes run small. They do not. I ordered a 10 and should have ordered a 9. I am also a walker and not a runner.

Runs big - I love Asics--I have a tricky time finding running shoes, and my last pair fit perfectly. These run big, though; I bought the 7 and will have to exchange for a 6 1/2 (I hope the 6 1/2 isn't too small). The last pair I owned was size 7 and fit wonderfully; a bit frustrating that they've changed the sizing (I compared the new shoe with the old shoe). So, even if you have wide feet (as I do), you might want to consider buying half a size smaller than usual.

Not the most comfortable Asics - I am a big Asics fan and have owned several pairs. I have to say these are not as comfortable as ones I have owned in the past. (My previous running shoes were the Gel-Nimbus.) I bought the GT-2130 in black and I like the look of it, but I am disappointed in them as a running shoe.

In black - I have the 2120's and they are my favs. I like the 2130's and wear them almost daily for running and walking. They are comfortable and I like the black.

Still pretty good, but... These are not quite as comfortable as previous shoes in the GT-2100 series. they're still great underfoot, but I find them to be a bit pokey on the inside of my heel / below my ankle, and this has held true with 3-4 pairs of the same shoe. I hear that they tried to change the fit this year, and it seems that they ended up messing with the padding around the back of the shoe. Maybe next year's 2140 will be back to my perfect shoe. For this year, I had to go with something else.

Not the most comfortable pair of Asics I've ever owned. I've been running in Asics for awhile now because I really like them, but this pair wasn't quite as comfortable as usual.

Second Review - I reviewed this shoe shortly after purchase, and although I am still very happy with the overall look and comfort of the shoe, I have started to have issues with the insole staying in place. It rides up in the heel area after taking just a few steps, leaving my toes "hanging over the edge" of the insole in the toe box. I've never had a pr of running shoes do this before, but I wonder if it's part of the lightweight design to have a flimsy insole.

HOT! I've worn Mizuno's Alchemy for 3 years, but opted to try something different. I ordered the same size and they are quite comfortable. The soles are a bit more stiff than the Alchemy. My right heel slips a bit and I got a blister on my left foot, problems I never had with the Alchemy. Nonetheless, I've adapted and the shoes provide wonderful support and a unique, funky look with the "snake skin". Also worth noting here is the unbelievably wonderful running hotline at Zappos. I accidentally ordered the wrong sneaker. I called, explained the situation, and I was walked through each of the 5 sneakers that were recommended. My experience was great!

Perfect running shoe! After a trial run with a few different running shoes, I finally tried these for my complicated foot! The stability in the shoe helps my overpronation and the toe box accommodates my broad FOREFOOT. I do run into a few problems in this shoe with my narrow heel and high arch, but that was easily fixed with lacing and insoles! Love them and can't wait to see the next model!

I like this shoe for working out, but I prefer my other pair of ASICS (1120). This pair seems a little big for a size 9 in comparison to my other pair. Overall a good shoe, but I will buy the 1120 again for my next pair.

Great Shoe! This is a very comfortable shoe with good arch support. The only negative is that for runners who like to wear very low socks this shoe might rub towards the back of the ankle.

My third pair of ASICS - I love these. These run pretty true to size. I actually like the "bling" -- and not as bright as some have noted. And Zappos’ service can't be beat.

First pair of ASICS - This is my first pair of ASICS. I wear 11A, it’s impossible to find that size anywhere except Zappos. I used to wear New Balance. These are so much more comfortable. I teach fitness classes and these are great! No break-in time needed.

DISCO shoe! This shoe seems perfectly comfortable, but LOOK out for that color. I got the white/blue/frost silver, and the silver is intense, 80s, disco ugly. It's hard to tell from the picture, but it's very, very shiny and frosted. Not for me.

Flat smallish shoe - I ordered my usual size and they were way too tiny, so I ordered one size up and they were still way too small and finally I ordered two sizes up and returned those as well. The toe box felt small and the fabric across the top was sewn in such a way as to pull on your feet. I tried some Asics Gt 2130 on in the store, but they didn't have the wide size, so I thought that all that was needed to fit was the wide, but NO, these shoes really don't fit me.

Asics 2130 - Initially I ordered the 2120 in black. It ran pretty wide for me. Because a narrow size was not available in the 2120 I ordered the 2130...huge difference. The foot bed on the 2130 actually hurt my foot. I have arthritis in my toe and it made it hurt. It actually felt like there were bumps (I am assuming it was the arch support) jabbing me in the foot... Thank you ZAPPOS for having such a great return policy, these ones are headed back...
