This will be my third pair of the Keen Voyageur. I live in the Colorado Rockies and they get a real workout on the trails around my home. They fit my feet perfectly and the tread is good for walking.

I absolutely love these shoes so much that I have two pair in different colors! I'm really hard to fit and the wider toe box in the Voyager style is wonderful. Super comfortable.

Love these! All set for trekking through Ireland! I've had loads of hiking shoes/boots over the past 20 years and besides a Columbia style that is no longer made these are fabulous. Roomy toe box allows my toes wiggle room. I am a very slender 8 and was afraid that there would be too much room but these are fantastic! I will buy them again and am wondering if I should buy some "back up" pairs!

Original Keens with their large toe box, have been a life saver for me. Their newer versions have a much slimmer profile. I wear Voyageur most of the time and it has enabled me to have a very active lifestyle. At 59 that is something that I plan to continue. Hopefully they will continue to make their old footbed for a long time!

And the winner is Keens Voyageur 10.5. I've had lots of different styles of Keens over the years, and currently have Toya 10.5. But, as all Keen lovers know, there's no making any sense out of their sizing. I intentionally ordered 10.5 and 11.0's of these, and the 10.5's are plenty big. Its even possible that a 10 would have fit. I'm wearing these for hiking and just getting around town and maybe to work out. I was in an accident over 5 years ago, and am still struggling to relearn walking. I really wanted a fresh pair of Danskos, but I can't get them on over my high instep. So, I'm settling for a pair of strappy Danskos and these. I might also get those bizarre foot covers that look like feet. Heh. That will by my full collection for the time being. These shoes seem durable, fexible but supportive, and a bit too hot, like many Keens seem to me. I think they won't allow inadvertent ankle turns, which is important for my messed up ankles, knees and toes. The grey are nice and subtle, though Keens haters will find them just as ugly as all Keens. Keens haters have some serious personality flaw that prevents them from seeing that shoes must be comfortable and do their job, and that if they do that, they are never ugly. My ratings for their sizing are relative to other Keens. Being a Keens wearer, I am hard pressed to even know what my actual shoe size might be.

After reading some other reviews, I ordered 1/2 larger than my normal size. They were too large and I returned them for my regular size. They fit perfectly. This was my first pair of hiking shoes. I wanted them for our upcoming vacation to Arizona and hiking trips in Sabino Canyon and Ventana Canyon. They were comfortable right out of the box, provided great arch support and had plenty of room in the toe box. They gripped the rocks beautifully and I never felt like my feet were slipping out from under me. Highly recommend these shoes. They're awesome.

These shoes are the best shoes ever. I have a very hard to fit foot (wide toe box, high instep, narrow ankle) and these fit perfectly. I'm on my second pair and will continue to wear them until they stop making them (which I hope never happens). They are the only shoes I've ever owned that I can put on in the early morning and wear late into the night with a single blister or ounce of foot pain. I have also had knee surgery and wearing these shoes doesn't cause any knee pain either. They are durable and they wear so well that even my two year old pair doesn't look worn. Mostly I ordered a new pair when I'd worn my first pair (three years old) to the point where the insole was almost flat. But that was only after wearing them pretty much every day for three years! Great value for the price and a great, great shoe.

Love this shoe! This is my 3rd pair over the course of 5 years-I wear them almost daily in the colder months . Great traction and ample room in the toe box. I have flat feet so I do add the super feet arch support.

This is the most comfortable pair of Keen sneakers I have ever worn! I have a wide foot and high arches, and there is plenty of room for my foot inside, even with thick socks. I also tried the Keen Detroit in a wide, but this shoe was more comfortable, and the width seemed about the same to me.

I first ordered my normal size, 9, but returned them for a 9½. I have wide feet in the toe box area and bunions that can become very painful. I have had these boots for a little over a week now, and have gone on a short hike and a long beach walk. On those two excursions, these boots were fabulous: no hot spots or blisters whatsoever. The five mile walk included about two miles in soft sand along the beach and no sand got into the shoes, even though there have mesh panels. The boots offer support, yet feels wonderfully cushiony soft. I had noticed, as some other reviewers noted, that in one shoe my big toe (this is my bigger foot) butts up against the front edge of the shoe, even though there is room. On the first two hikes this did not bother me at all, in fact, I stopped noticing it. Today I was excited to take these boots on their first real test: an incredibly vertical trail that ascends and descends a steep mountain ridge in the Los Padres. The trail has corresponding serious erosion, but the hike is so beautiful that it is well worth the ascent and descent. Going up, the shoes were wonderful. Going down, the big toe against the front of the boot issue eventually bothered me, and my toe was pretty sore when I finished the hike (about 4½ hours). The boots have fantastic traction as this trail has some sections that cause one to slip and slide. There is scree, loose sand, gravel and rock, but these boots were great; they had much better traction than sneakers or some of the cheaper hiking boots (Coleman, HiTech) I have worn on this hike. Other than that strange front toe issue, the boots are roomy, but not roomy enough for thick hiking socks; I wore thin wool ankle hiking socks that were perfect. If I had not had that seriously steep descent, I think I would have ended the day completely pain-free. So, over-all I love these boots and plan to purchase another pair of hiking boots by Keen, a more rugged and waterproof all-leather boot for trips to the Sierras this summer. I will get a full size larger (a 10) and I think with thick hiking socks and the much roomier boots I will not have the same toe problem. The Voyager are great boots, and exactly what I was looking for in light hikers. I am sold on Keen. Thank you, Zappos, for such amazing service. Previous to the hike today, these boots would have easily received five stars for comfort; after today's hike I am giving them four, but most hikes are not this steep.

I love the boot, very comfortable. The only problem is that my big toe on my right foot (my larger foot) meets the shoe in front. I think this toe issue would become annoying/painful hiking in these for hours. I am sending these back (sadly) and ordering the next 1/2 size up. I hope they work! The hiking boot otherwise seems exactly like what I have been looking for in a light hiker: rugged sole, great toe buffer and heel buffer (wonderful for bouldering or hiking in messy terrain) and super comfy! I have wide feet and bunions/bone spurs so it is tricky for me to find shoes that are comfortable.

Just saying, Keen's are the best sandals/shoes ever. I had all of my toes broken when I was younger and they are very sensitive. Support wise, comfort, I can wear them all day and I do every day, all year round. I love them. I do not wear anything but Keen's!

Needed a good shoe for support and comfort for walking. LOVE this shoe, nice wide toebox and great arch support, and not too high on the ankle. Highly recommend.

I have a wide foot and use an orthotic. I ordered this shoe a half size larger than I normally wear and my orthotic fit perfectly. The shoe runs deep and was very comfortable.

Absolutely love Keen and is worth the price - Comfortable when I immediately put it on (no break-in period). I have wide feet and I think that the wide toe box is key. These sneakers are a great in-between for workout shoes and hiking boots. Great arch support as well. I have back and ankle issues and these fit the bill. My only comment is that I am typically a 9.5, but the 9.5 was way too big (even with thick socks), so I would advise ordering a 1/2 size down.

Have had Keens for many years. Always happy with the way they fit and wear. These are great for being outside on rocky and steep ground. Love that they are waterproof.

These are incredible. And kind of ugly. But you're hiking, so you're totally not caring about the big piece of rubber as it works tirelessly to protect your toes from wily sticks and rivers. These bad boys are comfortable, supportive, and rugged. Make a "perfect man" pun at your leisure.

I have been wearing Keen's Voyager and other Keen shoes for the last 3 years. I've had knee surgeries and find them very supportive. I also live in the country so they meet the need for more sturdy shoes. They do run wide, which is perfect for my wider feet. I'm buying my 5th pair right now, and cannot recommend them highly enough.

These turned out to be good walking/hiking shoes for me. I usually wear 8.5 in Keens and that was my size this time too. They were too big in the heels, but after reading hikinglady.com about how to tie shoes for narrow heels that problem was solved. I stretched the toes with my stretchers and wore them every day before our trip and found they fit fine around my bunions and hammertoes, though at first I didn't think they would. I wear them almost daily and like their style. I got the slate black/vetiver color.

Love these! Ordered them for a rim to rim hike in the Grand Canyon. Didn't have a lot of time for breaking them in so was concerned about blisters. Was VERY happy. No blisters,no sore feet! Nice wide toe box, good support. I wear a size 10 in regular shoes & 10.5 in running shoes. Ordered 10.5 in these and they were perfect.

Great shoes! My last pair of Keen shoes finally wore out after two years of constant use, hiking and just everyday walking. I now live in a rural area of Colorado and could not find any shoes that fit me as well as Keen nor were they to be found in any of the local stores. I already knew the correct size from my last pair and these seemed to be just a little bit wider which was fine because the previous pair needed to be worn a while to stretch to my foot. This shoe also allowed room for my orthotics for arch support. I would highly recommend these shoes for both comfort and durability. Plus Zappos promptly notified me when they were in stock again. Thank you Zappos, my feet are happy once again!

I work at a dog kennel and this shoe's traction comes in handy on slick floors. Plus the support it provides is great for anyone who is on their feet for long hours!

I ordered three different pairs of shoes. One was too narrow, the other was wide enough but didn't offer enough arch support, but these had the perfect combination of a generous toe box and arch support.

These are the best, most comfortable hiking shoes I've had in a long time! Perfect fit (good sizing) for my semi-wide foot with starting bunions too. Love the color, balance, firm but easy-going footbed. A great shoe!
