These shoes are so comfortable! I have several pair of them, and they all felt very comfy right out of the box. No break-in period for these! I wear them hiking and around the house to do yard work and gardening. The support cannot be beat. I imagine they would be excellent work shoes for someone who spent all day on their feet. Compared with other Keens, these are by far the most comfortable lightweight hiker! I find the Targhee too stiff and heavy, same with the Flint, and while the Atlanta Cool is comfortable, it is heavy on my feet. I have a ton of shoes and I reach for my Voyagers over and over. I can't say enough good things and I just hope Keen doesn't discontinue making them (like they have with many of their awesome styles). LOVE!

Very comfortable right out of the box. Lots of support - light weight. Just what I would expect from a Keen shoe. Loved the fact that I received the shoe 2 days after I ordered it. Great service Zappos!

I love the Keen Voyageur. I actually bought these 3 years ago and wore them to the ground. Stepped into the new shoes and took off hiking on a steep 5 mile trail. No blisters or sore spots. Great grip too on the slippery slope.

Ordered this shoe after returning a pair of Merrells that were very uncomfortable. These fit well and ran true to size, have good arch support and some cushioning and look fantastic! They will need some breaking in after wearing my current pair of Keen's for well over 7 years. I appreciate Zappos, especially with their free returns.

I love these shoes! I have wide feet and need to use an orthodic in one shoe. I wore one pair out and purchased another. I wear them all day walking and doing chores.

I love these hikers! I have significant back problems, as well as occasional plantar fasciitis, and Flinstone-feet. Okay, the last one isn't a medical issue, but dang I have some fat feet. I ultimately bought these for a planned trip to Yellowstone National Park. I knew we'd end up doing a bit of walking, and there's no way I would've made it if I didn't have good shoes. These not only met my expectations, but went above and beyond! They are so comfy that it's almost like I would forget I had them on! I'm the type of person who usually takes them off the minute I step in the door...but not with these! I could have them on for 16-hours and not complain. They are very supportive. The feel like they wrap around your foot, and there is definitely arch support. I highly recommend these shoes. There was no break-in period, they felt amazing right out of the box. The only downfall is that I've started wearing them to work, and we're not supposed to wear casual shoes to work, but they are just so comfy that I don't want to wear anything else!

This is my second pair of this shoe - I love this shoe. I'm heavy, my feet are poorly put-together, I have plantar fasciitis all the time (when I wear other shoes), and I have a job where I'm constantly on my feet. These shoes are PERFECT. They've got terrific support, a great tread, and breathability. When I'm wearing these shoes regularly, I forget I have issues with my feet, my knees, and my weight.

Over time, I have purchased 5 (or more!) pair of this model shoe. I have had multiple foot surgeries, have fused joints in both feet and wear orthotics. This shoe fits extremely well and the slight rocker sole actually helps my foot roll to my toes and push off.

I bought these shoes over four years ago. I wear them for everything from work to play and in all terrain from ice, snow, and mud to dirt trails.I have high arches and these shoes make my feet very happy as is my wallet because I just hose them off, let dry and lace them back up again they have not quit giving me a bang for my buck.

This is a great shoe for warmer weather. I wear Targhees most of the time and love them as well because they are waterproof. This shoe has nice venting and your foot stays cooler. Same Keen fit, unique style and comfort.

I have tried Keen's before and have tried a number of shoes & sandals that were not a good fit, but these are perfect. I really like these and they are my yard, gardening and chore shoes and they stand up really well to hard work. Comfortable from the first wearing all day.

My Keen sandals as well as my Asics running shoes are all 8.5, but based on some reviews, I ordered both 8 & 8.5 to ensure I had the right size. I tried both on and at first the 8.5 felt like it might be too big, but after some research about proper hiking shoes fitting, I realized that I just hadn't laced them tight enough. With the 8, they were a little too snug with my Smart Wool hiking socks, so I stuck with the 8.5. As any other Keen, they don't really need to be broken in, so I threw caution to the wind and packed them in my bags for my trip to Alaska. These shoes were excellent for Denali National Park, it was really cold and windy the day we were there (2nd day of summer), so they kept my feet warm and properly cushioned. I had no problem on sloped river rocks, up or down), loose gravel, or steep trails. In case you're considering another brand, it's worth mentioning that while sitting in the airport and looking down because I was tired, I started realizing that more than half the people in the gate for the Alaska bound flight were wearing Keens - the other half were probably cruise-bound.

Love Keens! I have had to purchase mens Keens to take my orthotics...works really good! Put store bought innersoles in my women Keens and it is good!

Great shoes! Firm construction holds the foot straight and is especially good for those whose foot or ankles that tend to deviate. Accommodates an orthotic as it has a removable insole. Wide forefoot. Easily worn all day for casual work or play. Lasts forever, and needs no wearing in.

I have two other pair of Keen's but needed more of a summer, breathable shoe for warm weather and the Voyageur did not disappoint. I've worn them about a month now and am happy to report that they are well vented and light weight - just right for summer walking or hiking. For me the arch support is just right, but at the very least this shoe offers moderate support. I have peripheral neuropathy in both feet and the wide toe box really allows for plenty of room, alleviating some of the discomfort that comes with neuropathy. I also like the treads on the bottom for the excellent traction. An all around, great hiking and walking shoe!

I am not a hiker. I am retired and need a good everyday shoe and a good walking shoe. I need a wide front to the toe box, good arch support plus enough room for my high arches. I am replacing other Keens that have softened from so much wear. These boots are from heaven: the wonderful Keen footbed, attention to detail and light weight make these shoes a year round value although I wear them more in the cooler weather. I never regret one penny spent on Keen shoes. I recommend them as an everyday shoe/boot with jeans or for hiking. I ordered these in my usual size and they fit perfectly. Do not hesitate. These shoes and the brand are wonderful.

These are very comfortable and great for hiking. My podiatrist recommended this brand because of the large, wide toe box, and I was able to hike all day with no discomfort at all.

These are probably the most comfortable shows I have ever owned. As an artist and an art teacher, there are days where I am on my feet for 14 hours straight. These shoes keep my feet happy all day long. They are breathable and sold. Lots of support, No blisters, no squeezing. Perfection. I wish they had even more color options because I would buy them in every color.

Sturdy and pretty comfortable for a solid work or trek shoe. I work at an animal shelter and wear them 9+ hours/day on my feet. My feet stay dry, they are tough enough to protect my feet from bites (it happens!), and I feel secure on wet floors. They're not terribly heavy or hot either. I replaced the insole with my orthotics. My feet do get achy by the end of the day but it's really the work, not the shoe. No cushiony soft shoe would offer what I need. I plan to wear these out, no need to look for another work shoe.

Reviewed at L.L. Bean
These were one of the most comfortable shoes I have worn out of the box. After two weeks of wear I am starting to feel my left big toe bumping up against the front of the shoe slightly. I did debate whether to get the 11 or 11.5 when I first made the purchase and I should have went with the 11.5. But I think they are keepers anyway. So if you are between sizes consider 1/2 size up has been my experience however your mileage may vary..

I have had these for about 9 months and still love them. The toe box is roomy without being too big, there is decent support in the foot and they wear very well. I have had foot pain (dreaded plantar fasciitis) before I got these and I have put Superfeet black in them and been very pleased. Only complaint is that the heel slips and haven't figured out how to fix that. Very pleased overall!

Very nice and comfortable shoe. Definitely feels 1/2 size larger than Merrels, which I was wearing prior to this shoe. Plenty of room in the toe box, also plenty of room in the heel. I have a narrow heel so got some heel liners which made them fit well. Sturdy and stiffer type of shoe, good for walking on rocky trails or the grocery store. I got them for my plantar fasciitis and so far I like them. They take a custom orthotic perfectly. Also a nice bonus is they are keep out most cold and rain in the winter, unlike many shoes that have mesh uppers. A very well made shoe.
I'd also recommend:
Merrel Womens Moab Ventilator, which is not nearly as nicely made but is comfortable out of the box.

I bought these shoes for my daughter. With the awful weather we were having she needed something waterproof but she can't get boots in her locker. She loves these shoes. They fit well and she has narrow feet.
