Love these! After reading many Zappos reviews, I ordered a 1/2 size larger then I normally wear (I\'m usually a 7 and I bought 7.5) and they fit perfectly. I wore them right out of the box for a 3-day outdoor photo shoot. I was on my feet for 12-13 hours each day and it was freezing outside (well, it was in the teens and 20s) and at times wet--my feet were toasty warm and very comfortable. I normally wear hiking shoes, so I was a little nervous about the ankle-boot factor, but it was never a problem. I\'ve been wearing them ever since and have found them to be warm (but not hot!), with a very comfortable footbed and arch. Plus they look great.

No breaking in period! I work/teach at a biological field station and I got these as a replacement for my daily field shoes. I have been happy with my other three pairs of Keens and decided to try a hiker. I was able to hit the trails immediately! They were incredibly comfortable right out of the box. The ventilation is amazing and my feet stay dry (non-sweaty) during 100 degree, high humidity days. Another plus is the treads are large and do not seem to hold mud, so no tracking debris inside.

Keen! My shoe company! I LOVE these shoes. I have been buying Keens since 2000 and they never fail to satisfy. I have found them to be comfortable right out the box. I will NOT wear a shoe that needs to be "broken in" and my feet agree. You can't beat the quality of Keen products. These boots are another winner. I always order them a size larger for my orthotics. Enjoy!

A new look! My fame comes from being the only walking woman in the neighborhood who wears Capezio flats for walking, although I have now branched out to red keds. I was invited to go hiking in the mountains and asked what kind of hiking shoes I had: "Red keds!" "You mean the canvas numbers with smooth sole and no treads?" " Yes." "No support, no traction: you need boots that cover your ankles and have traction." When I first wore them in the neighborhood to practice walking in them, I was a sensation: a new look for Nancy! "Welcome to the real world." I reported that it felt as if "I was walking on air!" Duh! I ordered them a 1/2 size larger as recommended and they fit perfectly and the design pleases me as well. Hopefully this woman who doesn't own jeans will do well hiking in the mountains.

Love them! Hiking in these shoes are like going out in your slippers! So comfy, yet stable. They are true to size and feel great. I just wish I could wear them to work every day. Getting ready to go hiking in Croatia and Italy and I am happy I found the right boot!

Keen mid boots - Runs 1/2 size smaller as most Keen's do. Knowing that I order 1/2 size larger. It's light weight but will give ankle support. Very comfy. Lots of wiggle room for toes which I like. I use orthotics and the boot fits them just fine.

Awesome hiking boots! This was my first pair of hiking boots, and I couldn't be happier. They felt great on my feet right out of the box, they feel great on the trails, and they look really nice too. Overall excellent shoe, good deal, and as always, amazingly fast shipping. I love Zappos!

Great shoes - I have a very short, wide foot with a high arch and have a very difficult time finding shoes. I was looking for a hiking boot for casual wear and light hiking - foot and ankle support and comfort. I had never worn Keens before but my son, whose feet are similar to mine, loves them. In addition to the Keen Voyager, I ordered a Merrell, a Timberland, and an Asolo boot. The Keen was the winner hands down. I love it and the way it is cut down at the back makes it much more comfortable than those with high backs. It may run a little small (I ordered my regular size) but not a full half size. I will definitely try other Keen shoes.

These fit like previous Keens I've had, though there is something hard in the vamp when I flex my foot that didn't feel right. Maybe these would have broken in with time, but I also wish they had more cushioning in the insole. I wear a 9 and the 9 in this style fits well.

These are my old hiking boots I’ve had for years and was trying to replace them. I bought the same size in the new boots, but they felt a little short in the toe. So I sent them back. I would highly recommend these boots, just try them on with the right socks for the right fit and you’ll be happy.

These felt like comfortable, supportive hikers with plenty of toe room, but the heels slipped even when I tried adjusting the laces. I think the size was right, just not the fit.

Keen has lost their edge

Very comfortable, had to order up a half size, no break in period.

These are great! My last pair of Keen Voyageurs lasted 20 years before the sole finally came loose...pretty sure it can still be repaired though. I normally wear a 9 1/2 and a I take a 10 in Keen’s. So incredibly comfortable...I don’t think about my feet at all while hiking!

DEFINITELY order a half size up. All the reviews saying it was true to size I stupidly ordered my true size of 9.5. My right foot is slightly longer than my left and my toe was right up in the toe box having to curl up not even with standing up yet. Sending back and will have to order a 10. I’m a 9.5 in everything, but guess I’m a 10 in hiking boots. Otherwise they were very comfortable, even with being a bit too small. They were already providing good ankle support, good foot space (besides being too short), and were cushy.

I've hiked about 30 miles in these shoes so far and I definitely recommend sizing up. I'm a size 8, purchased a 9 and they are perfect. The arch support is in an odd location so I'll be getting inserts eventually. This is my 4th pair of hiking boots and the most comfortable pair so far. They felt bulky at first, but on rocky trails they kept my ankles safe and get much more comfortable after being broken in. Really happy with the purchase.
