The side buckle was the deal breaker. Hard to reach, difficult to work with one hand and does not feel very substantial. Otherwise, great looking shoe and comfortable. I wanted to keep them but decided to return and try a different Keen style (without side buckle) Ruby wine color--- very nice

These shoes are cute and comfortable. The little clip is a bit of a pain and it does not stay tight. Different then my other Keens. Otherwise great walking shoes.

These shoes are super comfortable. I was looking for a sandal that had traction when wet and these are it. I can even transition them from work clothes to a lazy night out. However, there are two things I don't like. If you're walking in sand, it collects at the toe of the shoe because there is no hole there and the strap that comes over the top of the foot loosens as you walk (nothing a little piece of duct tape by the buckle can't fix). Otherwise, these are great.

Cute shoes! I wear a 7.5 and ordered that size. I found these shoes to run a half size short for me. They were comfortable. I like the feel of the insole. They look good on. The plastic buckle was a little on the cumbersome side to latch and unlatch. And I found that for me, the strap came up to high on my foot, too close to my ankle. On a slimmer person, it would probably be just fine but my feet\/ankles swell during the hotter months and it would be uncomfortable.

Great shoe - They are cute and comfortable. While the buckle is small, I love the design and don’t have a problem undoing it - it certainly takes much less time than untying and will last much longer than velcro! Went with a half size smaller than my normal size and they fit perfectly. As with other Keens I’ve ordered in the past, the craftsmanship could improve slightly, as one shoe’s strap is at a bit of an odd angle (seemed into the footbed awkwardly I guess), though it’s not enough to cause discomfort and not enough to cause me to return it for a replacement.

Love the colors and the width, but this shoe is definitely a half size too small. I’m exactly a size 8 and my toe was hitting the end of the shoe. That might be okay for a sandal, but not for a closed-toe shoe. Sending it back.

Very nice shoe, comfortable and true to size. The arch support was less than with other Keen shoes. The styling looks sharp and the detailing is well done. The shoe's clasp is very firm and adjustable giving it better support than velcro-type shoes. Good for walking around town, or light hiking.

This is my first pair of Keens, and they were immediately comfortable right out of the box. They were true to size also, and for someone with very narrow heels, they still fit snugly. I wore them hiking on steep and difficult terrain, and they were terrific for this purpose, particularly in and out of water. They also washed up great. The only negative was getting mud and gravel inside the sandals, so I wouldn\'t recommend wearing them in those conditions.

I really like these shoes and wore them at Disney World for a week, switching off with my Keen Venice H2s. They tend to stretch out a bit and I kept tightening them down. It really wasn't a problem, just a nuisance. Overall, they were very comfortable and gave great support. They are also really cute and you could even wear them with a casual skirt. I love the shitake/crocus color.

Not as comfy as I thought they'd be. I own other shoes/boots from Keen and I absolutely love them all, except these. I bought these to replace my tennis shoes for summertime hiking and walking. I like the way the design lets in so much air. When I put them on initially, I thought they were perfect. I liked the look (really cute) and fit. But after an hour of walking, my feet really started to hurt. I was wearing socks with them too, to add cushion, but that didn't seem to help. Sorry, but I think Keen missed the mark on these. Or, maybe it's just my difficult feet.

I love my Keens Mystic! They're adorable and comfortable. I can wear them barefoot, or with socks, for long walks on concrete or beach. Just one thing in regard to my specific pair: the left plastic clip that opens and closes the shoe is a bit temperamental, doesn't click open as quickly and easily as the right one, gets a bit stuck. I was going to exchange them for another pair, but I didn't want to wait, they do the job just fine.

Super cute for an outdoor or urban rugged sandal, but wide. These adjust quite well in the instep, but were too wide for my foot, like most Keens (except for the Keen Amsterdam, which I live in). Also felt a bit short, maybe because the toe box is a firm material. Highly recommend if they fit -- sadly had to return mine.

Keen Mystic -
These shoes almost worked -- Keen's other water shoes/sandals are always too tight in the instep for me (I have very high arches/insteps) so I was excited that this shoe had an adjustable instep strap that was long enough to fit over my foot! I usually wear a size 7-7.5 but had to try these in an 8 so my toes wouldn't hit the end. I can't really comment on the arch support since no shoes have enough arch support for my crazy high arches! However, my only complaint with this shoe is that they really dug into the back of my heel; I knew they would give me blisters if I wore them very long. (If you look at the side view pictures, you can even see how the back of the heel angles in towards the foot.) These shoes would probably be perfect for me if Keen replaced the closed heel with an adjustable heel strap! And like most Keens, these looked very bulky, but I was more concerned with comfort than style for these. They are still worth a try if you like Keens and want a more adjustable instep.

I thought these Keen sandals were going to be perfect. Pros: They have awesome arch support and a smooth insole; feel like slippers, easily adjustable for a snug, comfy fit. Cons: the clip is a bit hard to undo, show is somewhat clunky looking. Unfortunately I have a bunion on my left foot and when I walked around the house in these Keens, it hurt my bunion. My other foot felt like it was in heaven. I wish I could keep them, but my bunion won't cooperate and I'll have to send them back and try the Venice sandal instead. Someone with normal feet might really find these wonderful though.

My feet say ahhhhh!
These closed toe sandals are just what I've been looking for. Sturdy and comfy footbed but lightweight and easy to wear.
Cute design and nice color selection!
My feet are somewhere between an A and B and these feel nice. With the sleekly designed adjustable side clip you can snug them up to your ankle as needed. Good toe room.
The clip itself is a bit hard to open until you get used to how it works. You have to un-clip them to get them off. Can not just slip them on and off but they feel like a custom fit so that is no big deal. I wore mine for several hours first day as they didn't need any break in time. They look as cool on me as on my younger kids and I'm 62! They're KEEN! :)

Straps are tight - no way to adjust -
Straps across are very tight. There is no way to adjust them. Impossible to clip close. Only way to get them on is by closing clip and wedging foot in. I have a rather thin, low arch foot. Otherwise, they look nice. Love the color. Comfortable once on. I might have order 1/2 size larger. Could make a difference. I will keep them now that I know how to get them on, with the strap clipped on.

Not for those with short toes!
I love these shoes -- but my little toes kept popping out of the outside opening. Not much arch support for high arches. Some rubbing at the Achilles tendon part of the heel -- probably would have broken in nicely but for the toe issue. No "toe ridge" on the insole, which is great -- I could have gotten the Newports except the toe ridge on the insole (between ball of foot and start of toes -- hit on the wrong place. Surprised no one else mentioned it.) The Mystics insole is smooth. These are less roomy than other Keens I have, but half a size is still a good bet. The red is a beautiful deep red, not tomato-y and the grey and blue is beautiful, too. Those of you with long toes that won't pop out are lucky!
I'd also recommend:
If keen would make the Newport insole smooth -- no toe ridge-- I'd be in heaven...

Gr8 shoe -
I love this shoe. It has a super look, and it is more comfortable than I had expected. It has a funky arch that isn't "exactly" in tune with my foot, but close enough for comfortable extended wear. I had to order my regular size which was a bit disconcerting since feedback info said order smaller. Looks are fantastic.

Great arch support but could not find a size to fit. I love the look and the arch support of this shoe. Unfortunately the size 7.5 was too snug in the toe area and the 8 was too big in the heel area. A chain saw and some super glue might have worked but the fine look of this shoe would have been ruined. As always super easy to return to Zappos and try another style.

Sad -
Thought I would really like these shoes... but, sad to say, my feet did not... my insteps are too much for these shoes... and the ankle is not as adjustable as it looks... so I will be returning them, in hopes that I can fond another sandal for the summer... sigh...

Nice, but...
I loved the look of these sandals, but they did not work for me. I have narrow feet; when I walked my little toe kept slipping out of the shoe on the outside - very annoying. If there wasn't that cutout on the outer edge of the sandal, they would have been perfect. Otherwise they were comfortable.

Great sandals for easy hiking. Bought one size down from my usual and are wide, so my feet slip around easily on angled terrain, but other than that, they are a pretty solid shoe.

Buckle design not great -
I continue to love the wide toed comfort of Keen shoes, but this one is problematic for me. I have a narrow foot and the buckle does not snug up enough to fit securely. I corrected this by slipping in a 3/4 orthotic to take up the space, but other problems remained. The strap slips in the buckle closure, so the shoe loosens up with walking. The buckle is also rather small and its position on the side of the shoe makes it somewhat awkward to fasten and unfasten. It is NOT a hiking shoe, but I like it anyway for casual and undemanding walking.

I loved this shoe, except that there is a tiny buckle made out of plastic on the strap. It is so small it is difficult to put your fingers into the side grooves to open it, and it doesn't open easily nor is the buckle in an easy-to-get-to or easy-to-see spot on the outside of the foot.

These are the worst sandals I've ever had the displeasure of wearing, and it was my first introduction to Keen products before. I wore these for a trip to Mexico, was looking for something to wear in and out of water, like in Tulum at the ruins, and at our beach for snorkeling, and once in Akumal, in 100+ degree heat, and walking around their small town, my little toes were blistered and bloody, as were my ankles behind the strap on the back, and also my feet on the bottom were blistering from the sweat not being absorbed. I wear a size 9 and I have never been in so much pain. I had to stop and pay for a pair of regular old flip flops because I was in so much pain. I absolutely hate these sandals! I do not wear wide width and have never had a problem with other flip flops. Too much money paid for garbage.
