A Great Shoe - This is my first "closed toe Keen" and I am very pleased. It is as comfortable as the open-toe sandal and will be more practical for walking on trails and sand.

Comfy right out of the box - As soon as I received the Mystic sandals, I wore them on a trip to view the fall colors in northern New Mexico. Comfy from day one.

Fun and funky comfort - I REALLY like this shoe, excellent walking shoe in warmer weather. The support and fit make for superior comfort.

These shoes look just as good as they feel! Wore them on a scree trail for their first outing and loved the way my toes were protected without the claustrophobic feel of a full shoe. I did stop to take them off and empty the gravel out of the footbed twice but that's expected. They performed very well with no slipping and no breaking in period. Bought size 5 (usual size) and find they're fine with or without a sock.

Cool new looks make sandal more city than trail - This sandal is great!! When I opened the box, my husband said "Those are the best looking Keen shoes I've seen!" The swooped design of the straps makes the shoe more stylish & feminine than the Newports and they do not have as large a rubber toe guard - they look great sightseeing, museum touring, shopping, etc. They are also cooler than Newports due to the more open strap design. I do not think I'd go on an extensive trail hike in the Mystics -- they are not quite as supportive as Newports because you can't fully cinch down the straps all around your foot -- they are more like a sandal/MaryJane hybrid. I did have to put in some small arch support pads (FootSmart sells a very handy set of adjustable arch pads) because they did not have enough support for my arch - I fastened them down with double-sided tape. I found the Mystics run more true to size than Newports -- I could take my normal size 8 1/2 instead of the 9's I need in Newports. I agree with other writers that the buckle is small and can sometimes be hard to work but mine are getting easier as I use the buckles more. All in all, a fabulous shoe!

Great! The transition from a New York City street to a hiking trail upstate, into a stream, onto a boat and back again has never been more fluid. All around great outdoor summer sport/walk to the office in midtown shoe.

I have seen Keens on other people and never had a pair. Now I understand why people are so excited about their shoes and many of my friends wear ONLY Keens. If they can find the style they want in a Keen shoe that is what they buy. I know a woman who has over 20 pairs of Keens. The Mystic is super comfortable, attractive, durable, and will be my favorite shoe from now on. It is like a sandal but it has the toe protection that I sometimes need when open toe sandals are not appropriate. Thanks for making this great style of Keen shoe. I will be ordering other colors this week. Thanks for making such great shoes.

I purchased these sandals for my summer trip to Rome. They were wonderful for walking along the cobblestone paths. Better yet, there was no breaking-in period. The only drawback is that the buckle is small and could be a little tricky to undo.

Sturdy and comfortable - The buckle is small and a little difficult to use, but the rest of the shoe is great. I always order Keens a half size larger and that worked with this shoe also. Very comfortable shoe.

Great shoe with lots of toe room - Lots of room at the toes. I have wide feet so this is nice. Has a nice clip to fasten. Sometimes a pain to take off. Very wide shoe. I am a 9.5 but ordered a 10 and it fit.

This is a new style for Keen. After reading other reviews I first ordered this in a 6, but true to Keen, I had to return it and order a 6.5, which fit great. This is a comfy summer shoe with good arch support. I hope they make this in more colors.

This is the first Keen sandal I have tried on that actually fits. I did need to go up half a size though (usually wear a size 7; in this sandal, I needed a size 7.5). I'm not finding the buckle to be a problem (as noted by a couple of other reviewers); the top adjustable strap provides a secure and comfortable fit; and the toe box is nice and wide. And Zappos, of course, always provides the most excellent customer service.

Like walking on air - I absolutely adore these sandals!!! I work in healthcare, and am on my feet nearly all day. I have 2 other pairs of Keen shoes and wanted sandals to wear in warmer weather, so I didn't need to wear socks. Keen shoes are the best!!! I can honestly state they're the most comfortable, supportive footwear I've ever owned. I have wide feet, so Keen footwear works really well for me. It's also great to have women's shoes that are as sturdy as men's.

Love Keens - This is one of the cutest Keen shoes to date. The buckle could be a little larger, but so far has not been a problem. I have a narrow foot and it fits like my other Keens. I own nine pairs of Keen shoes! I always order a half size larger than I usually wear.

They are comfortable enough, although I can't see myself walking extensive distances in them, as I feel the city pavement beneath my feet much more than with my other Keen shoes. I also find the snap buckle a bit difficult for me to snap closed because it is so small and a bit difficult to grip due to numbness in my fingers caused by side effects of a life saving necessary medication I have taken for 8 years.

Italian Travel Shoes - I wore these fabulously comfortable shoes all over the Amalfi Coast of Italy and Rome. Through the cobblestone streets, across the Tiber River and back. I usually buy Keens shoes in 9, but find their sandals fit me in 8.5 Comfort from day 1.

Fun to wear - Totally comfortable out of the box. I wore these shoes all day long, no break-in time at all. I have other Keen sandals and this shoe lets in less debris into the footbed on walks in the woods which is helpful. My only reservation is that the click snap is small and sometimes a little tricky to disengage. I hope it holds up.

Even more comfortable than my Newports! I love my plum-colored Newports, but they do make my feet hot and they also make my legs look stumpy when I wear them with shorts. I wanted something as comfortable but that was a bit more ventilated and also a more neutral color. The Mystics have even better arch support than the Newports. The straps are diagonal, which makes my short, wide foot look less duck like than my other Keens, and they are lined with nice soft neoprene. The footbed is supportive and very cushiony. I like the buckle strap; it is quick and easy to adjust. My feet definitely feel cooler in these than in the Newports; though if you want Keens for the hottest days go for the Zerraport. I got the Simply Taupe color and it is a nice neutral that goes with everything. I've gotten several compliments on them already. I wear a 7 in some Keens, a 7.5 in others. These were perfect in a 7.

Keen Mystic - Good all day shoe. This shoe will accommodate my orthotics. Good cushioning. Quiet and not clunky. This is my third pair of Keens. I am so happy to have found Zappos.

Love these Keens. I like the look and I like the comfort. I also happen to love the snap buckle. It is easy and convenient. I always have to wear Keens a few times before they reach the maximum comfort stage. At this point, I wear these shoes all the time on the weekends and in the evenings. They are terrific for walking.

Kool Keen - Great shoe, comfortable, good coverage and nice openings for fresh air. Enjoy.

Cute trail shoe! Love the look of this shoe! Love that I can go from land to water in them! Love that I can throw them in the washer! Hate that they rub on the outside of my right big toe... Not sure if it is a design flaw or just my foot! Otherwise, looking forward to getting out in the spring/summer/fall with these shoes and really trying them out!!!

These are super comfortable. It took a couple of days to break them in. They weren\'t giving my feet blisters or anything, my toes just felt a little crowded. After a few wears they fit great!

These are rugged all terrain type shoes which have been great for hiking on uneven ground. Good support with s study build. They are great. A bit bulky, though.
