I absolutely love this bag! Super cute! I use it instead of a diaper bag for my 17 month old and it's perfect!

Love this bag! Large enough to carry essentials, without it being cumbersome. Easy access to all compartments even if you just shoulder it! This was perfect was my visit to Israel!

Great bag. Comfortable to wear and sporty. Exterior phone pocket is too small, but interior pockets are roomy and easy to access. Fitting full-sizes papers (8x11) is a little tight but possible. Made of canvas which isn't entirely obvious in picture. Very happy with purchase and would recommend.

This is the "IT" item for girls 12 and up! Surprisingly, the bag holds a lot more than what it seems. My daughter got one for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. She does not leave home without it.

This bag became very popular at school so of course I had to get one. I had no idea what I was getting, but as soon as I received it I've absolutely loved it! I will be getting many more in different colors!

This bag has been fabulous. At times it feels a little small but that was the reason I bought it. Also, that helps me limit the amount of stuff I throw into it. I used it traveling and it made me feel very safe with the hidden pocket and wrap around design. Overall, I'm loving it!

Love this bag! I bought it for a recent trip to Disney World and it was perfect! It fit my large Nikon DSLR camera, sunscreen, a couple bottles of water, my large wallet, and other odds and ends I needed to carry for my kids. My favorite part was how comfortable and stylish it is. It lays nicely across the back and shoulders and doesn't bounce around. It's easy to adjust for different sizes as well, my husband could carry it, and even my 10 year old liked it!

I got this bag for my 8 year old step daughter for her birthday and she loved it! I got my oldest step daughter one back in August. So of course because she had one, she wanted one. It's very roomy and lots of pockets. They both use them for school and for overnight bags. The colors are a little darker than what they appear in the photo but she didn't even notice.

My granddaughter wanted this bag for her birthday in October, so her mom sent me the info to order it. Unfortunately, when I clicked on the order, I ordered the wrong color. I discovered this the very next day after I placed the order. I quickly called Zappos and told them about my mistake. They cancelled the first order and shipped the correct order that very day. My granddaughter's bag arrived on time and she is thrilled with it. She is in college and carries it everyday to hold her books and her purse items. The purse was exactly as pictured and my granddaugher loves it. I cannot say enough good things about Zappos as they saved the day for me.

This bag is very nice but not as large as I would like. It has 2 big zippered openings each side. I can carry a lot in it but it all ends up in a jumble and I sometimes have to dig around for what I need so I finally got smaller individual bags for certain items then I could easily grab what I needed. Would love it to have more zippered pockets. It is stylish and comfortable to wear. It's also rainproof so you don't have to worry about ending up with a soggy bag. I would recommend this bag.

This is a nice size bag and well made. It just didn't work for my needs. I wanted to use it for a Therapy Dog gear and my folding mat didn't fit in it very well. It's well made and lovely colors. If I hadn't wanted for a specific use I would have kept it. Very cute for general use.

I like this bag. Is a good size. I love the outside two pockets for phone and keys. I can always find them easily. There’s one really big inside pocket and a small (a little too small, in my opinion) zippered pocket. There’s another large zippered compartment. If you’re wearing the bag and swing it around and unzip that pocket, everything will fall out of it. Not sure I’m going to keep it for that reason. But it’s darling. And would work well if you always took the bag off.

I wanted to love this bag. I love the way it looks and the pattern I picked but there are several functional flaws. The pockets on the front - useless. They are too small for anything you would want quick access to (phone, wallet, etc). I put my sunglasses and lip balm in the velcro pocket and headphones in zip pocket. So because of these pockets, I have to dig for my wallet in the big compartments when I need it. I also bought it because I wanted to use one side for my camera and two lenses and the other side for my purse stuff. It works but the bulkiness of stuff in one pocket affects the amount of space in the other pocket since they overlap. Overall, I love the way it looks and how it wears but I don’t think it will be an everyday bag for me. Maybe for just hiking trips and things like that.

I love this bag. I put my phone in the zipper part in the middle. The top pocket that I think is for a phone is too small so I put my keys there. It is super comfortable on my shoulders. I get compliments on it all the time. Just ordered one for my daughter because she loves it so much. I have 2 kids so I throw my water bottle, snacks, wallet, & a small bag with band-aids, itch cream, & mom essentials when we head out the door. Perfect for a day out at a theme park, hiking, or just going to the park. I would recommend this to any mom or anyone who leaves home early in the morning & gets home late at night.

Awesome as always. Love Kavu bags. So far it's holding up well. I do agree that there isn't a great place to put your phone (the little pocket on the front is too small for an Iphone 6 or larger. But that's not a deal breaker for me.

This bag was a perfect size for a Disney trip to carry the essentials for my family (sunscreen, water bottle etc). I liked the pocket layout, but the only drawback was the rope strap hit by collar bone in a weird spot and became rather uncomfortable after just a day. I dealt with it and kept switching sides, but I wish the strap was a little softer. Overall a nice size bag.

I purchased this bag to use as a day pack while traveling. It turned out great. I was able to fit in a small bag of cosmetics and hand sanitizer, 2 passports, a wallet, an iPad, a 7 inch tablet, 2 phones and some other misc items. Held up great. Only improvement would be a double zipper on the pouches that could be secured with a small lock to protect against pickpockets. Instead I safety pinned the zipper to the fabric or wore it under my arm in crowded areas.

Great for travel or for days when you're doing a lot of walking. It has comfortable padding for your back. You do have to take it off in order to reach most of your items, though. (phone) The strap is adjustable, but it's very long and I'm not sure what to do with the part that hangs down.

The colors of this Kava Rope Bag are beautiful. However, the pockets are too short for my iPhone4 and the flap will not close over the top of it. I am afraid that my phone is to easy for anyone to access, and or, it may fall out. Disappointed with the size of the pockets.

I'm quite sad to be giving this bag a so-so review, but there's just no ignoring its flaws. First, it is a nice looking and very high quality bag. The colors of the Kavu bags are always so vibrant and fun. Also this bag has surprising capacity for its size. I used it on a trip to Disney World for all 5 days and it held everything we needed. I like that it's easier than a backpack when you know you'll need to access the contents of the bag often while out and about. You can sort of twist the bag around to your front with one hand and access then zippers. And I like being able to clip a water bottle to the rope strap (since it doesn't have a water bottle pocket). But there are problems. First and most obvious to me was that the outer small zipper pockets are almost useless. The larger one is not even big enough for a cell phone or sunglasses. The width is okay, but lengthwise it's barely long enough to fit credit cards. I keep my cards in a very slim cardholder, but that wouldn't fit. So right off the bat I saw that I could not easily access the items I need to reach most. The other tiny exterior pocket is even less useful. I ended up putting two hair elastics and a tiny tin of mini mints in there. That's about all it can hold. Also I was surprised to find that it doesn't actually work well to wear the bag over my left shoulder, which I prefer, because it doesn't lay right across the back. It kinda sticks up and is awkward. Instead it must be worn on the right shoulder. I thought I could get used to this, but it drives me a little crazy. Third, the thick rope strap began to rub my shoulder/neck after the first few hours of wearing the bag during my travels and by day 5 I was having to take it off and on at intervals because of the irritation. And fourth, because if its uneven weight and lopsided shape, the bag often doesn't hang well on the back of a chair at a restaurant (falls off constantly) and anytime you set it down on a flat surface it falls right over. Overall I wish I had noticed more of this stuff before my trip so I could have returned it. I really wanted to like this bag, but I'm afraid it's just going to sit in my closet now.

I have heard these bags were amazing and I even borrowed my friend's. The only problem is it is hard and time consuming to find a color that you like. They have the same colors over and over and I just can't seem to find the one that works for me. I chose Overall for 3: This is because I can't find my color. I chose Comfort for 5: It carries a ton and it is super comfy! I chose Style for 5: It is the new trend! Overall, the Kavu Rope Bag I have now is awesome until I get my new one!

The zippers on the bag were very poor quality. Not what I expected for what I had to pay. I would not buy this item again.
