Great bag for travel & does a great job replacing my diaper bag on trips!

Got this bag because I hate carrying a purse but needed a bag for my 3 year old daughters stuff while on vacation. This bag was so comfortable and easy to carry that I plan on continuing to use it now that we are back home. It's a great versatile bag, and the mint color is lovely.

The Kavu Rope Bag is well made, comes in numerous colors and is comfortable to wear on my 5' 9" frame. I have it in three colors. I carry a cell phone, eyeglass case, wallet, cosmetic case, tissues and keys. All items can be accessed without removing the bag by pulling it around toward my chest. I put my eyeglass case and pens in the long outer zipped pocket, my keys and lip balm in the upper, small velcroed pocket and my phone and wallet in one side. More can fit in it. I have carried an iPad, apple and small water bottle along with the rest with no issue. Adjusting to fit is easy with one strap. Extra material winds up and is held in an attached elastic. Wearing over heavy outerwear and winter coats will require adjustment so you'll be glad you did not cut it. I cannot stress how comfortable this is having worn it for many hours straight and throughout the year. I use it daily. Note that due to single strap if it is not closely fitted it can be a problem when bending forward. I have taken to wearing it shorter. I'd prefer if Kavu did NOT bind areas with white as it is so easy to get dirty but I own two that use white. I originally purchased this bag because I have prematurely thinned skin on my hands and found many straps were tearing my hands. This rope bag is a great solution. My friends ask about it/compliment it often. Good job Kavu and Zappos.

This is a great bag! I bought this for my 60+ year old mom who loves fun and funky bags. She took this as her carry-on when she recently traveled and said it worked great. The pattern is edgy but goes with everything, and has more of a canvas feel to it. Highly recommend.

I absolutely LOVE this bag! It is the perfect size for everyday things I need and a full size water bottle!! Great to wear across the body or just thrown over the shoulder. I have the toucan print and I am trying to decide which print I need next!

This is a comfortable bag for women. The wide strap distributes the weight of the bag evenly across the chest. The fabric is strong and durable. The front lower pocket fits an iPhone. The smaller side zip fits a 17 oz. S'well bottle, leaving plenty of room for a lightweight jacket, sunscreen, and hat in the larger zippered pocket. An interior zippered pocket on the back panel is a great place to store credit cards and ID.

I have young kids and always seem to be carrying around wipes, snacks, extra clothes, a camera and more. I can pack it all in this bag. Lots of great storage and comfortable to carry.

Love the over the shoulder option to keep my hands free. It makes dealing with 2 kids and their ''diaper bag' a breeze! Love it!

Love this purse! Kavu makes a great product. And of course, Zappos rapid delivery, it can't beat.

This bag is really cute and just the right size. We are traveling to Italy this summer and I did not want a huge backpack to haul around and this is perfect. The other thing I like about it is that, unlike a backpack, you do not have to take it completely off in order to get inside. It seems very sturdy and well made, although I have not traveled with it yet. I am a larger person and it is adjustable enough that it fits comfortably. I also like the little feature of an elastic to hold the excess strap from flapping around (like I always have with a regular backpack).

I really like this bag. It's very comfortable to wear, and I've gotten compliments on it, too. I only wish it had a little more room. I wanted to use it as my only carry-on for a recent flight, but I couldn't swing it with my headphones, table, phone, charging cables, and bag of liquids. It was close, but not quite. Still love it, though!

I had been wanting to buy a kavu rope bag for about 2 years now and finally decided that it would be worth it for the upcoming camping trips I had. This bag is amazing. It's the perfect size, comfortable and stylish all in one! I purchased the berry punch color and LOVE it! Everyone compliments me on my bag and asks where I got it because they haven't seen this pattern before. Would strongly recommend to friends!!

I love my rope bag. It is the perfect size for an on the go teenager. I attend several camps during the summer months and is durable and has held up perfectly. The shipping was fantastic and i received my order within two days.

I bought this because I need both hands free to wrangle my two little girls and I hate backpacks. It's much roomier than I thought, and has two separate main compartments so I'm able to keep my own stuff separate from the kid's stuff. The zippers run the whole length of the bag making it really easy to find stuff. There's a lot of complaints about the little pockets being too little to be useful, but I've found them to be really handy for stuff like bandaids and sunscreen sticks that would otherwise get swallowed up in a large pocket. The rope strap design disperses the weight on your shoulder and makes this really comfortable to carry. This bag is so much better than carrying a purse or a diaper bag or god forbid both. It fits my current casual-Birkinstock-mom aesthetic, too.

Great bag. Durable, convenient, has great compartments. So much better than a purse for travel. I gave it 4 stars for style because for a bag it's a great style, but a purse is still cuter. It's much more comfortable than a purse though. Love this bag.

Wanted a hands-free bag for a summer music festival (BONNAROO!!!) and a friend had gotten one like this in the Meadow print. Love how lightweight and durable this is. I recently got a bicycle and I bike to the gym every day and this bag is PERFECT. While it is not really that big, I can fit a towel, a liter water bottle, keys, my long bike chain, sunglasses, phone, and a light jacket in it with a bit of room to spare. I love how easy it is. The multiple pockets are an amazing feature, and while it was expensive, it is durable and I know I will use it until it falls apart. This particular print matches the colors on the rope as well, which is great. (Not all prints match the colors on the rope.)The interior color is blue, which is also cute. Overall, lovely, efficient, spacious, and embodies the Bonnaroovian spirit, while still being useful enough to utilize every day. I give it 4.5 stars! (.5 of a star taken off for the inconvenience of its initial expense!)
