Great shoes - Very good walking shoe. Comfortable right out of the box. I try to walk 3-4 miles daily and these shoes are great, no foot -aches. Zappos had these to me in a day; I could not find this style in local stores.

Comfy shoe - This is my 2nd pair of this particular shoe. I wanted to get a "spare" while they were still available. So difficult to find suitable shoes for a 60-year-old in my hard-to-find size.

Nice to find an athletic shoe in a wide width - Wore them for the first time last night. Very roomy in the toe - maybe a little too roomy but I've always bought shoes a 1/2 to full size too big to accommodate my wide width so that may be the issue. Overall nice shoe

Old Faithful - I have ordered this shoe many times, and it is my favorite walking shoe. It gives me great arch support, and it holds up well after repeated wearings and washings. It is a great value for the price, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable, affordable walking shoe.

New balance ww558 - This shoe feels a little too tight at the toe area. The arch support seems odd--there is this "bump" before the arch support that is uncomfortable, but maybe they just need broken in. I was going to use them for work, but I will use them at home since they are a little tight. I guess I will go back to brooks.

Excellent!!!! These shoes fit my wife's feet perfectly. She has had ankle surgery in the past, so almost any shoe she wears begin to irritate her feet. But these shoes are comfortable and allow her to stand and/or walk for hours without pain. Very Excellent!

Best fitting athletic shoe I have ever had. Very hard to find a fit for a narrow foot. Good arch support.

My new New Balance shoes - I'm enjoying my New Balance shoes. I bought them mostly for walking and working out. The first time I wore them, I wore thick socks, and got a blister, but after that, they felt great and I'm enjoying them. They do run a little large.

Just what the Doctor Ordered - I have a foot problem that requires a hefty orthotic and a shoe that offers excellent support. This shoe fit the bill exactly! And it is lightweight ... what a bonus!

Good shoe - I need a 10 1/2 wide shoe and I can only get them at Zappos.

New Balance WW558 - I always have good luck with New Balance shoes. They could have a bit more arch support, but I have a very high arch and I have that to say about almost every shoe I buy. I am loyal to New Balance. They are true to size. I also love the pink color.

Proper fit for NARROW feet! I never realized how narrow my feet were until I went shoe shopping and the saleman re-measured my feet and helped me pick out this style of shoes. Unfortunately, his store could not carry the narrow sizes as they did not sell very well. He recommended Zappos, and I am so happy! The only difficult part for me was the fact that they cost more than if I would have bought them at the local store. But for me, the perfectly snug and supportive fit was worth it! I bought two pair to alternate for exercise. I have less than three months to get ready for Bloomsday, which is a 10K fun run/walking event here in Spokane.

Looks great and comfy fit - I purchased size 10 wide. I normally wear a 9 wide with most shoes. I probably could have gotten a 9.5 wide and been fine but I don't like tight shoes. Overall, I would recommend a .5 size larger than most people normally wear. There was no breaking in time for these shoes. They felt great from the first wear.

Order up - run Small - New Balance is one of the few athletic brands that offer narrow width. For this reason, they are my brand of choice. I found, as did others, that the sizing is off on these: I ordered my usual size and then returned them for a half size larger. The new shoes fit and were comfortable from the start. I recommend them, but with the warning that you will need at least one half size larger.

Women's New Balance WW558 - Hi. I bought this shoe just over a year ago and wore it virtually every day, taking walks, for about 9 months. It is the only 'walking' shoe I have ever owned, and the first one I've ever tried. It was incredibly comfortable, and blew whatever running shoes I had previously worn, away. When Zappos told me, one year later, that the shoe was still available, I bought it again, so I can wear it next Spring - Fall. By the end of the 9 months (1 twenty -five minute walk daily) the stuffing was coming out in the heel area, but otherwise, the shoe was good.

Repeat New Balance Customer! I broke my left foot several years ago, so comfort is a priority when purchasing a shoe, and this shoe is great! I looked at many shoes and I must have tried on dozens before I found this one. Now I just keep buying the same shoe! I always add top of the line orthotics!

Sneaker Review - The New Balance sneakers I just purchased are fantastic. The have great support and are very stylish considering they are a size 13. Usually, this size tends to look like a man's shoe gone bad.

Great as always!! New Balance has never let me down. I always order 1/2 size up and they always fit perfect. I know there are some more expensive, but why would I bother when these are just right?

My favorite - I wear these shoes almost every day. I love the fact that I can order a pair, put them on, and not have to break them in at all.

Great service and Happy Feet! This is my 3rd pair of New Balance shoes. These required no break-in time. They fit snugly around my ankles and have nice toe space. They are a perfect fit for my narrow feet. Three cheers for Zappos service. I had my shoes in less than 48 hours.

A Great Walking Shoe - I hate buying athletic shoes because I never seem to find ones that fit very well. They are either too big, too tight, too small, or just not comfy. These are the first pair of New Balance shoes I've purchased and I am very pleased. Reading through the previous reviews, I noticed women stated to order a 1/2 size up. I was concerned, as I normally wear a 10W and finding a 10 1/2 W anywhere is impossible. EXCEPT at Zappos! I ordered these in 10 1/2W, and they were just right. They fit just a little snug, but not tight. And personally, I prefer the extra support while fitness walking. The shoe is lightweight, which is also a plus, and has something in the sole which keeps the foot straight while walking. It feels a little weird at first, but definitely makes the foot feel supported. A lot of the aches, pains and general discomfort during walking have gone away. I really like this shoes, and feel that now, with proper shoes, I can meet some of my fitness goals!

Great Shoe! I bought this shoe for my daughter who has size 10, double narrow feet and wears orthotics. She has a difficult time finding comfortable, well-fitting shoes but these New Balance shoes worked out perfectly.

NB WW558 - I really enjoy these shoes. I did have to get a get a 1/2 size bigger but it was worth it.
