I am coming off of New Balance 928s which are very soft and comfortable. I wanted a different look and color and something a little more light weight. I love the look of these and the light weight. They are true to size, I can also put my orthodic arch inside for more support. I am not disappointed.

These are really great shoes. I had a pair of NB Country Walkers that I had worn for 8 years and wanted a replacement. Because of the way NB categorizes the "shoe last" (heel width, instep height, forefoot width and toe box depth), I knew this style shoe last - AL-2 was exactly the same style as my old pair. After reading the recent reviews, I decided to order a wide. These shoes arrived quickly and they were perfect right out of the box. This model has a very stable footbed, important to me since I have problems with tendons in my heels. The inside cushioning is just enough to be comfortable without being mushy. I might just order another pair in a different color! I also ordered the NB 659, which has the same AL-2 last, but they were too soft overall and the shoe area around the instep was extra wide and fit poorly, so returned them.

This is the successor to the shoes that I have worn forever, which now are no longer made. These shoes are not as good looking, but are as comfortable. I spend lots of time on my feet - I do health walking and also have a volunteer job that requires walking on trails for several hours a week. New Balance are pretty much the only shoes that I can wear, because of my very long, very thin, arthritic feet. Zappos always provides excellent service.

I wear these shoes for work and dog walking. I live in the AZ desert and work outdoors as a mail carrier. I need a shoe that will keep my feet stable while walking on rocky ground and getting in and out of the mail truck. These aren't the prettiest shoes but then neither are twisted ankles. I normally wear a size 9 and ordered these in a 9 1/2--sometimes I still wonder if a 10 would have worked. I always have to size up with New Balance. I recommend ordering 2-3 sizes to try since Zappos is easy about returns.

Good basic shoe, I use it for walking. Nice cushioning at the top of shoe where it meets the ankle. The pull up tab on the back is a little too small for me to get my finger into quickly, but could be pulled up just by grabbing it. It felt too big when I first put it on, but I am now used to it and think it probably is my true size. Very comfortable.

This is a great shoe! I wear it almost every day after being in Dansko's all day for work and I find it very supportive and comfortable.

WW759 review - I am very happy with the updated model of this shoe. It was recommended years ago by my podiatrist and has served me well. It seems to fit the same as my previous shoes. The color is indeed more of a hot pink vs. red but still ok. The purchase and shipping went flawlessly.

Very comfortable. Due to leg length discrepancy, I had to have a heel lift installed to the sole before wearing. Heel lift installed nicely. These are lightweight, good traction, and good support. The wide width gave me plenty of room for my wide feet. Very happy with my purchase.

First, I love New Balance tennis shoes. That is all I wear. Mainly, because they carry wide widths. These shoes are extremely comfortable and great support. I ordered the grey pair and after wearing them I also ordered the brown pair. You won't be disappointed.

I bought these for day hiking and they are just what I wanted sturdy, slightly higher at the ankle for stability. Only wish they had gortex for waterproofing. New Balance are the only sport shoes I can wear and I always order a 1/2 size up from my street shoes.

I have no complaints about the shoe. I have such a large, wide foot that I find it hard to find shoes to fit me. Thankfully Zappos has some large enough for my feet without me having to buy mens sneakers, as I have quite often done before. I hope Zappos will continue to have larger size shoes available for women like me. I love Zappos, they are my first choice when buying my shoes and if they don't fit I can return them, free of charge and order another pair until I get the right fit. Keep up the good service Zappos. Shipping was fast as well.

I love these shoes. The last few pairs of New Balance shoes that I bought did not have support and hurt my feet. These shoes are wonderful. The support is great and no sore feet. I am going to buy a back up pair in case New Balance decides to discontinue the WW759, which New Balance always does when I find good shoes.

Great walking shoe! I am 72 years young and walk 4 miles each day. Bought these in the wide. fit great and wonderful arch support.

I have a really bad ankle and these shoes have the support I was looking for to be able to have them on my feet all day...very comfortable shoes.

Great fit for a narrow foot - I find New Balance athletic shoes to be the best fit for my narrow foot. I have substituted walking for running due to a hip issue, these shoes are my first pair of shoes designed specifically for walking. I find the fit extremely comfortable.

This is a great walking shoe. When I first put these on and started in walking, it felt like I was walking on air and I could walk forever. I didn't have to break these in. I have a wide foot and high arch and they seem to fit great.

Great shoe! I LOVE this shoe!! Although, I did need to order it in a 1/2 size larger. I also put a heel support in it, but that's due to the fact "I" need that kind of support, I'm sure others would not.

I love this shoe! Since I started buying New Balance in 1996 I have never had another walking or exercise shoe. I buy a new pair every year. The WW759 is no exception to great. And as always, Zappos delivers.

Great ankle support - It took me one week to break in these shoes indoors. At first I was put off by the rigidity and stiffness of the mesh around the ankles. It was initially uncomfortable as I have been spoiled by the suede materials in my New Balance 843s and my 3 pairs of 926s. The 759 is wider in the toe area much like the more expensive 926s for which I am grateful. However, I must wear thicker socks to cushion my skinny ankles with these shoes. I needed a shoe that flexed more in the toe area than the 926 for long walks as I was having muscle fatigue. So far, the 759 is working out better and my leg muscles aren't as sore after walking. If the mesh part around the ankle was made of a little bit softer material I would give this shoe a higher "Comfort" rating. I probably won't buy this particular shoe again but I don't regret my purchase.

These are my tried and true walking shoes. My last pair was worn for a year and I walk a fair amount. I need the wide toe box.

I have not ordered a pair of these, even though they seem to be closest to an older pair of New Balance shoes that I have and would like to replace. The reason? These do not come in extra wide sizes! I do not know why they start the name with a "double-W" if they do not come in extra wide! I am very disappointed, because I just want what I had before and New Balance seems to have pretty much stopped making that - for me, anyway.

These are comfortable, light weight, and they look nice. I have recently been released to exercise again, I fractured my toe, and these fit the bill. They are great for walking.

These are great shoes, just too heavy for me. I prefer running shoe weight, but these came close.

I have worn out four pair of these shoes. They are awesome. I have looked everywhere for them . I walk seven to ten miles a day at work in nursing and have tried on and returned two other pairs of shoes. Thank God I found them here.

These are great looking shoes with great support and a very reasonable price. My podiatrist suggested these shoes for their additional support because of my ongoing foot problems. So they are, literally, just what the doctor ordered. Great choice.
