I have never liked Nike before, they would always fit too tight around my foot. I bought these shoes to officiate in and I just love them. They are very comfortable. They have great arch support because I have very high arches. I would like to buy a few more pair for back-up for the upcoming years that I will be officiating. Thank you.

Great shoe!! For a guy like me with extra wide feet, this shoe was a godsend. It is hard to find semi-stylish BLACK, wide sneakers and these Nikes fit perfectly.

GREAT SHOES! Yes, a half size shorter than marked (thanks, I'd read earlier reviews and ordered 7.5 not 7.0) but aside from that, truly great shoes; wonderful instep, great ankle support, looks cool, truly impressive! I wear a prosthesis on the right leg so I need a shoe which will give my left foot all the possible comfort and advantages. After wearing them a week, I’ve ordered another pair...! Thanks Zappos.

Awesome pair of shoes - Put these on and no break in was required. They are very comfortable and feel true to size.

Very comfortable pair of sneakers. Feels good even after a long day. Could be a bit wider around the toe area.

Great support for heavier folks - I got this in the EE width and it fit true to size with good support. Really comfortable. I normally wear the Brooks Beast and this one is every bit as comfortable as the Brooks Model.

Looks, style and comfort - These shoes are very comfortable once you break them in. They are a little tight at first, but within a day they feel great.

Purchased this shoe in store and have worn for 2+ years. Purchase same shoe and size again based on its performance and price.

First order too small. Returned and ordered larger size. They worked fine. No cost for shipping both ways a real plus. Shipping policy the major reason I shop Zappos.

Typical Nike Shoe. It felt stiff and had a high spot around the balls of the feet, but broke in nicely within a two week window.

I walk 3 miles everyday. I find the Monarch III very comfortable to walk in. I wouldn't say it is the best fitting walking shoe I've ever had. But I've put decent mileage on them without any pain to the knees, which some others have done to me. I haven't had the air pockets break yet. As far as the one criticism I've read, collecting small stones on the sole, yes they do, More so than most walking shoes I've had. The sneaker has lot of small groves and will collect stones. I take a awl and clean the bottoms after every walk on the street.Support could be better in the arch would be only small criticism I have. But on the positive side, I don't have the aches and pains in the feet and knees other walking shoes have given me.

I'm a true 11.5 D. An 11.5 in these is about a 1/4 to 1/3 size short and more like a D. Had to go to a 12. Good workman-like shoe. A bit warm. Not really something I would cross train in.

I've been wearing this model of shoe for five or six years now. Probably a dozen pair over the years. I have never had more comfortable, predictable shoes EVER. The first time I put them on was like walking on clouds! They've never needed any break-in. The ONLY minus to these shoes is that every one of them developed a squeak inside the sole. Otherwise I love 'em!

Good full air and full leather shoe.\r\n\r\nThe insole foam seams to crush a bit too soon for my taste.\r\n\r\nI weigh #240 and shoe companies rarely adjust their raw materials to accommodate weight above or below the average.

Good cross trainers for the impact challenged - I've pounded out the cartilage over time, and these shoes give me much needed relief when walking on the streets.

Not as comfortable as the older version - The looks have improved, but the cushioning has deteriorated - particularly at the ball of the foot.

Air Monarch III review - This is an excellent shoe. It's the 3rd pair of Nike Air Monarchs I've had. They are comfortable and very durable.

Great, comfortable shoe! Bought these shoes for my husband for his birthday. He has trouble finding shoes that are comfortable due to a severe injury from a few years back. He also has custom orthotics that he has to use in his shoes. He has been extremely pleased with this style. The orthotics fit well in them and he was able to be on his feet all day with no pain. That's saying a lot! He likes them so well, we plan to buy another pair in white.

Just like I thought - After one week of standing 8+ hours per day, I am pleased with these. Inlays work well in the shoe with good room in the toe box. Good value for the price.

Great Shoe - The NIKE Air Monarch III gives good support and comfort, I probably would rate this 5 stars all the way across, but my feet are so jacked up, nothing feels good to me anymore, but this is one of the better shoes that fit and feel good that I have worn in a long time.

These shoes are easy on the bottom of your feet, but they are too tight around the sides. My husband has problem feet and he gave these a good chance, but finally decided to stop wearing them. Perhaps if you have a narrow foot they will work better for you.
