I think this is a great shoe. It fits like I\\\'ve been wearing them all summer. They didn\\\'t need to be \\\'broken in\\\'. I bought a pair for my son too.

Great shoes. I couldn't walk without pain until I got this pair; wear them for other casual events also.

I have been buying the Nike Air Monarch sneakers for many years. They are simple, all-around sneakers that I can wear anywhere. They are comfortable, supportive, and the wide width works well for me. I have 3 pairs of these sneakers. I use the oldest pair for working outside doing light chores like raking leaves.

I bought a white pair of the Nike Air Monarch III for myself. I was surprised by the light weight of the shoe, but at the same time they fit true to size. They feel just as comfortable on the blacktop as on the backwoods trail. I would definitely purchase these shoes again. And as always I love the fast and friendly service at Zappos! Keep up the good work.

This is a very comfortable shoe. I always have to order a size larger with Nikes, but overall it is still a great shoe for an entire day at work.

I am a car salesman and in the fall/winter months we are supposed to wear slacks and dress shoes. I have a bad back and have to wear athletic style shoes. These shoes can be used in many different settings, both athletic and casual. I get away with being comfortable while the other salesmen I work with get those "stuffy" hard dress shoes. I am very happy with these!

Product was delivered on time and is as advertised! I doubt these shoes will ever wear out. With a trip through the dishwasher, they clean up very well.

I tried the Nike Air Monarch in black after I couldn\'t find a comfortable New Balance equivalent. The Monarch fits my wide foot well and offers plenty of cushioning for my morning walk/run. I like them so much I\'ve just ordered a pair in white.\r\n\r\nThe “pros” are that it is very comfortable and it offers much more support than a typical running shoe.\r\n\r\nThe “cons” are that it is a little clunky looking, especially compared to the New Balance 620. The Monarch is a bit difficult to wear with, say, a pair of jeans as the top of the shoe is so wide the cuff won\'t fit over it. The Monarch is a bit squeaky, even on concrete.\r\n\r\nOverall, I really like this shoe. My New Balance 620s had the interior fabric wear away at the back of the left heel even though there was plenty of wear left in the shoe itself. I\'m hoping I\'ll get better wear from the Monarch.

My husband bought 2 pairs of these in white, but none of the stores in our area had them in black. The shoes are for a Christmas present, and I am assuming they will be as good as the white ones.\r\nThe order was shipped quickly and was as requested. Thank you for good service.

These are fantastic shoes. Very plump and comfy cushioning. I am very happy with these shoes. Consider ordering a 1/2 size larger because there is such a snug fit.

My son has flat feet and wears an extra wide shoe; impossible to find at local shoe stores. He hasn't been able to wear Nikes before, so I jumped on the chance to pick up these in an extra wide at a fantastic price! They arrived the next day. I love Zappos!

The shoes fit perfect right out of the box. Extremely comfortable. I'm buying another pair as a spare. Love the shoes and the customer service, too. Best internet company, heck, best company customer service I've experienced in a long time.

Great all around work shoe. Sturdy, comfortable and long lasting. Good for the 190# guy who is on his feet all day. A large number of the maintenance / construction staff a UCSC wear this shoe. I buy 2 pairs a year. One for work and one for town / beach.

I was buying the Monarch III Black/White & Varsity Red shoe for a couple years and loved it. I wear the white, too, but it is hard to keep clean compared to the Black/White & Varsity Red. Black/White & Varsity is the best shoe that I have ever had on my feet. Dicks Sporting Goods quit carrying them and I came to Zappos and found the shoe that I thought I would never be able to get again. I had very good and friendly service and received the shoes almost overnight with no shipping!

Finding the right color of the shoe was a problem, however Zappos had the exact color I liked. The shoe is great, very comfortable and has plenty of support! The only complaint I have is the shoe seemed to require more time to break in compared to similar Nike shoes I have had in the past. The service was Spectacular! The sales representative was very helpful, friendly and gave me priority shipping, within 24 hours for free!

I ordered Air Monarchs from Zappos because I could never find my size at any of the local shoe stores. I ordered them using regular shipping and Zappos surprised me by upgrading the shipping for free and the shoes arrived the very next day. I was shocked but I know I will use the company again to find my shoes.\r\nThanks Zappos!

I am on my feet all day. My job requires a lot of standing, walking, and climbing stairs. Theses shoes are amazing! It feels as though my feet are not even hitting the ground. I have not had a pair of Nike Air shoes in a long time. What a treat for my poor tired feet! I plan on buying a second pair to have in reserves.

size is correct, feels light. Has very good support. Has good arch support. I have 3 pair of these and have been wearing them for 2 years.

I have 3 pairs of Monarch IIIs in use for different purposes. The oldest pair has worn down to yard work duty, the next oldest walks / jogs the dog, and newest pair for causal activities. My favorite shoe. As long as they make them, I'll keep buying them.

These shoes are really comfortable. I have LOTS of athletic shoes and these rank on top of my list. I wear these daily because of the good cushioning and support. For those of us in the blue-collar world in need of a black polishable shoe with great traction, then the Nike Monarch III is the shoe to buy. This is the shoe tailored for the "Industrial Athlete."
