I have bought over three dozen pairs of these of these over the years. Comfortable, durable and they always look good with a dark suit.

Great classic look. Shines up nicely.

I am a third generation buyer in my family and the great work never ceases to amaze me year after year.

These are what classic wingtips are supposed to be, but better. I prepped them a bit before my first wear, by lightly saddle soaping them - hope Dale would be proud! They took a shine immediately with a tad of polish, and comfortable on day 1. Absolutely love these!

These are very comfortable shoes (after the initial break-in period). They look fantastic - classic wingtip style.

We've tried numerous brands and styles to no avail. Johnston and Murphy is the only brand that looks, fits and remains in excellent condition for the long term. We buy several pairs at once due to travel and more than one home. This is the only shoe that when you first put it on and wear it that he never gets a blister or its too tight or big. Perfect sizing. He wears a 8 EEE. My only compliant is that Johnston and Murphy does not make a dress boot in his size. Many they can think about it? The company makes an excellent product. And even in his size we have options!

I ordered the 7.5 and it was a little long but the 7 fits like a glove...I wore the shoes for 11 hours the first day!

My other pair of Optimas was comfy from day 1. These required about 2 days for break in. I'll probably keep buying these.

Wear only to work

These shoes are an excellent value for their price (while Johnston & Murphy isn't necessarily the cheapest shoe, their quality is impeccable, and ultimately, you get what you pay for). Pros: Excellent fit, true to size Quite comfortable for a dress-up shoe Conservative styling Cons: The only con is that the entry into the shoe is a bit difficult at first (easily remedied by a shoe horn), but then becomes easier the more you wear them.

This is the best shoe for the money! Classy and refined. Great leather and comfortable when broken in. Made to last and look good.

A classic wingtip with a luxurious pedigree, this Waverly is stylish, comfortable and appropriate for the most formal of dress as well as for the classic casual look.

Very business appropriate and dressy too. Classic design is what the Waverly different. No break-in, just out of the box to wearing them. Tip top shoe...number one in my case.

Very Very very comfortable, this is my 2nd J&M. Purchased in Dec 2014 and still fits like new and looks new. I take good care of my shoes. J&M makes its so easy to stay in shape

Since I bought these shoes over 25 years ago I have been through one fiance, two wives, three kids, two houses, eight cars, two businesses, eight jobs and I won't try to guess how many suits. Bottom line is that when confronted by these shoes an M1A1 Abrams battle tank would wet its pants. Wicked tough shoes.

Great looking and comfortable once you get them on. Initially they are somewhat stiff and hard to get on but after a short break in walking around the house they became very much more useable. After a couple of times wearing these getting them on and off was a breeze. Got some nice comments on them from people which is always nice. Compared to other J&M shoes I have which are not so dressy, and made of softer leathers, they rank close to number one. This is a good price for an excellent quality shoe.
