How the mighty Acorn has fallen! For years, I used to swear by these, but I won't be buying the "Oh Ewe II" again. The fit and quality are not what they used to be. I ordered several pairs to make sure it wasn't an aberration, but the problems were identical. Fit issues: the toe box is nipped in so my big toe now hits the end of a size 7 slipper (I wear size 7 shoes), and the collar is so tight I had to wedge my foot in there; used to be the perfectly sized slip on, that stayed on. Materials: the quality of the shearling has gone down. It used to be so luxurious and thick that they were really snug when you first put them on; but then the shearling molded to your foot, and lasted forever. It was a real step up from any other slipper I have found. Also, the leather used to smell like vanilla when you first took them out of the box. It was magical! Now, they have that mushroomy smell of all warehoused goods. I would say that now, these are just an average slipper at best. I have switched to Minnetonkas, which offer a better numbered fit for half the price.

I bought a pair of these slippers in the mid-80s, and they stood the test of time until last year when the soles finally wore down beyond repair. It was a wrench to give them up. Even before I bought a new pair last year (2018), I noticed the "new" soles are much less sturdy (read: cheap, thin). So I'm only a little surprised (but very disappointed) that both of those inadequate soles are now cracking and falling off in pieces. For such a price, I expected at least consistent quality as before, but no, they didn't even make it to the start of a second winter (and unused in the summer). Time to find another maker of shearling slippers, and it won't be Acorn again, ever. Oh well.

I have had a pair of these for years and I can't wear them. Every year when the weather starts cooling down, i try to wear them and can't. The problem for me is that the padding over the sole is too thick. i don't know if there is something wrong with my particular pair, or something with the way I walk, but the thick padding causes my foot to roll towards the outside and my feet get off balance. I have been wearing other slippers but i hate to give up on these. I am curious to know if anyone else has this problem.

These slippers are extremely warm and cozy. I loved them when I tried them on in the store; however, once I got home, I quickly noticed that my left foot was sliding to the outside of the slipper, so that it was not supported by the sole. I first thought this may have something to do with the way I walk (although I have never had this happen with other slippers), but then I heard the same complaint from a friend about the left slipper! I thought perhaps wearing them a while would correct this problem, once the lining was packed down, but I have had them 2 months now and it is the same story.

These were a disappointing purchase. I wear a solid size 8 and these 8s were very snug. They're also really narrow, weirdly so. Luckily I have narrow feet so it's not a huge problem, but they're very snug in width as well. Also, I have to pull fairly hard on the backs of the slippers in order to get them over my heel. This is not as big of an issue as it was with the Faux Chinchilla Acorns I got and returned last week for that reason (I could hardly get them on), but it's still surprising that this is an issue as I've never come across this problem with slippers before and now have had it twice with Acorns. Finally, I thought they were a little bit more of a bootie style and would cover my ankles, but they don't. The one good thing is that they are very cushy. I will make them work since I don't want to order a third pair of slippers, but I will not buy this style again.

Received my 2nd pair of acorns in June 2017, noticed in November that the sheep skin was worn to the felt. Very disappointed my previous pair were in better shape even though they were 5 years old. Walmat slippers last longer then these at $10.00 not $100.00. I sent an email to Acorn customer service and received no response.

I love this style of shoe and was getting a new pair because my last had worn out. However, I think the pair I received had already been returned for poor quality because the "Acorn" tag was missing. The back of each shoe was separating and the fuzzy part. Almost as if they were knock-offs. Returning and very disappointed. I'll find my Acorn sheep shoes elsewhere.

Unfortunately, this pair of Acorn slippers has no arch support whatsoever--which is very different from some of the other styles made by Acorn.

Slippers are too large. So, my wife says return them, without replacing. She feels the correct sizing should be on the seller's shoulders.

Too tight around foot opening hard to get my foot inside and the rubber soles are smaller than the bottom of the slipper as well as the bottom of my foot. Making it hard to balance. Please bring back the original leather sole

After wearing these shoes - and only in our home- the bottom sole of these shoes completely fell apart. Material defective and of pour quality. Caused my wife to fall. I hope Zapoos make this right and fast. They were a birthday present. Disappointed !

I'm very disappointed with this product. First of all I typed in UGGS slippers. An assortment of slippers came up. My feet tend to be very cold and I know the UGGS boots are very warm. I needed the lambs or sheep wool for that reason. I assumed the name Acorn was UGGS name for this particular slipper. I wear an 8 1/2 size shoe, but wasn't given a choice of half sizes so according to reviews I sized down. When they were delivered and I tried one on and it was tight getting it on. I stood up in it and felt like I was leaning backward because the heel is totally without support and is very soft. By this time I must have discarded the box and everything else so I can't return them. I will try to find someone that can wear them and give to them. Ninety nine dollars down the drain. To say I'm dissatisfied is putting it mildly.

These slippers felt great when I got them. I wore them during the winter months from November to April and then again from November to January. Now they have holes in both heels. I wrote to Acorn and they basically said, too bad, the warranty no longer applies. It sure seems like slippers that cost close to $100 should last longer than these ones did. I will not buy this brand again.

I have been sick for over a year and need to keep my feet warm and comfortable. I was shocked when I took them out of my closet to wear this winter.

Terribly disappointed with this slipper. Foot slips around and slides to one side. If I hadn't worn them for a couple of days, I would send them back. Will go back to my LL Bean slippers.
