I shouldn't really fault this slipper because I guess I was looking for something else. I was hoping these slippers would cover my ankles, but they didn't even reach the bottom of them. The collar also doesn't flip up. I returned them and will be looking into getting a bootie version. That being said, they were extremely soft, comfortable, and plush. Bottom line: if you're looking for a slipper that will cover your ankles, I would NOT recommend these. But if you don't need or want that feature, these were wonderfully cozy.

I have had these slippers for about a year now. I LOVE THEM! However... the fact that you can only spot wipe them clean is a bit bothersome for me. I wear them in my home and occasionally into the garage to grab something EVERY day for most of the day due to the fact that I am a stay at home mom with wood/tile floors. I tried several brands/pairs before deciding on these slippers which to me were the most comfy and warm. Back to the issue of not being able to wash them other than spot cleaning. After almost a year of daily use it seemed like I probably should try to wash them. Just doesn't seem right to wear something on your feet daily for that long and not wash them. I did wash them on hand wash cycle in my machine (no agitator) and I air dried them and they actually came out just fine, however, I have noticed that my feet now tend to sweat in them and they now have an odor to them that was not present before. I really LOVE my Acorn slippers and just wish there were a way to wash them and have them remain the same as they were prior to washing.

After wearing for try, they stretched out and became sloppy. More than a M in width.

Fit was fine at first. When worn around the house, seems to have stretched to the point where I was sloshing in them. Cannot wear them and at times having a hard time keeping them on.

My wife wears a 7.5 and I got an 8. Very very tight. I know they will stretch out some but a 9 would have been better

The shoes are a full half size smaller than expected. I am a consistent size 7 and my toes touched the ends of the slipper. Also there is no arch support in this slipper. Really nice and cozy and fuzzy, but no support and runs small.

Acorn has been my go-to for years and have owned 4 Faux Chinchilla pairs - I’ve had to throw them away because I literally wore them out due to typical wear and tear. I tried another pair about a year ago - the insole padding just wasn’t what it used to be so I returned them. Been looking for a replacement ever since. Finally tried these in my normal 10 and while they were comfy my toes hit the front of the slipper so back they went for an 11. I also ordered a pair of temperpedic slippers in an 11. Got both today. Acorns too big and my foot is moving around all over the place. The Temperpedics fit perfectly and have lots more Cush than the Acorns! So long story short, the Acorns go back - sorry Acorn you’ve been replaced as my go to! When you downgrade your product you lose customers! P.S. I have medium width foot with a high arch.

These are nice-looking slippers, but with no half sizes -- I wear a 7 1/2 -- , they didn't fit my feet.

Sole to soft for my use. I needed something more sturdy for outside wear.

I was so happy to see sheepskin slippers on sale for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, these slippers do run too small. They are very warm and comfortable. But they have no arch support and they soles do look durable, but are sewn to the slippers on the bottom which will wear out quickly. The sole should run up the side to prevent premature wearing.(Too bad this cannot be seen in a photo as the color is so dark.) Returning these is very expensive, so I'm not sure what I will do. I would like to try a larger size, but am afraid they'll be too big and fall off my foot. The problems of online ordering!! UGH!!

I was very disappointed, these aren't like my old ones at all. Granted, they were old and had the sole that came up around the base of the slipper, but the inner sheepskin was worn bare. The old ones had way better support. The new ones were just a tad small and my foot didn't "sit" correctly in them. I ended up returning them and was VERY happy to see that I could just order new insoles, now I'm almost as good as new.

I’ve worn these slippers for years. Ordered my third pair exact same size was way too small. Ordered a second pair thinking it was wrong size. Way too small. I have no idea what is up. Going to order a size larger to see if this works. They are so comfortable I have to give up.

Other reviewers note that once the sheep's wool packs down the slipper will fit better. I found, however, that the sole was too short. When I compared the sole with other size 6's, it was smaller. My toes were touching the top of the slipper. I also didn't like the design of the slipper because it is difficult to get your foot in it due to the design of the opening. I have normal sized feet, with no bunions, etc. I have an old pair of Acorn Ewe slippers that I love and have worn out; The collar can be folded down or lifted up and the size is a range. I wish that Acorn still made that design. I'll look for a different slipper and brand this time.

I just got these shoes today so I can't comment about durability. But I was disappointed to see that they fit around a half size too large. I am normally a 7.5, but can fit 7 depending on the manufacturer - I consistently never fit an 8, so I decided to size down based on the previous reviews that the shoe fits true to size. However, received these and without socks on, they are loose enough that my heel slightly picks up - which I think will be irritating. They fit perfect with a pair of socks, which defeats the point. However I can't find anywhere that carries a 6 in-store to actually check whether a 6 would fit better... and I don't know if a 6 would be too small since I would have never considered myself a size 6 either! If you can get your sizing right they seem like great slippers. Also from the look of them I thought they would cover my ankles - I was happy to see they are more like low booties - hit right below the ankle. Suggest a picture of someone wearing them so people can see how high they rise.

These are cute and warm, but the sole is too narrow for my foot and I ended up walking on the sidewall, which felt unsafe. It would have worn out, too. Thank you, Zappos, for excellent customer service with this problem.

Although I normally wear a 6.5, my toe was pressed against the front of the size 7 and I would not have been able to wear socks with them. The would have been very comfortable if they had been the correct size.

I'm always a 7.5M. I ordered a 7M. Length was good, width was sloppy and too wide. I felt like my foot was falling over (more so on the right). I exchanged for a second pair and it was much narrower and fit better. Inconsistent in manufacturing. However, I'm sending these back because I feel they will loosen up too much and become like the first pair over time.

seems soft and comfy however I have a wide foot and found the hard outsoles a bit narrow and awkward feeling to walk in. otherwise soft and comfy would keep if they fit better. sad to see they don't come in a men's shoe.. Found something similar in a mens shoe and will go with that elsewhere--won't get the service they have here but couldn't find a similar men's shearling slipper.
I'd also recommend:

Tiny and lower quality than they used to be. These are at least a size small, the stitching holding the rollover down pulls the ankle in a weird direction, the toe seam can be felt and is weird. Back of slipper kicks in at the back forcing your foot forward on the sole causing it to feel even smaller. This is my second pair and it is obvious this pair will last a significantly shorter period of time.

Like other reviewers, I have bought multiple pairs over the last 15 years for my husband and me. I love Acorn and this was my winter slipper and I use their spa slipper in warmer months. This last pair is relatively new and the sole has cracked, which makes them colder. The suede and shearling have lasted well.

I used to love Acorns. I’m an 8 1/2, and the 9 is very tight around the toes. I wonder if they changed the style/manufacturer of the Ewe. The stitch line down the middle of the top of the foot is also irritating. Returning.

I've been wearing this brand for about 20 years.I'm personally not happy with the change of quality of their shoes. It's so hard to find a company that doesn't "cheapen it up" after awhile. Anyway, the shoes have pretty much no support on the sides. I could almost bend the shoe in half. The material of the shoe itself was nice. I didn't feel much of a footbed. Way overpriced for quality.
I'd also recommend:

I love these slips A LOT. I've worn them everyday since thanksgiving and the front toe is completely busted. I am not someone who drags their feet or wears these outside, and I take great care of my things. I'm disappointed as I decided to treat myself to a pair of nice slippers as an investment so that I wouldn't have to buy new ones for a while. I have had ugg slip-ons for 5 years that have very little signs of wear, but wanted something that went over my heel. I'm sad at how wasteful it feels to toss these and buy something else. I would not recommend these to anyone :-/

The 6 was too small and the 7 too big. Would be nice to have 1/2 sizes in slippers.
