These slippers are well made. There is a firm sole, they are soft, and the materials seem of high quality. I'm returning them because they don't seem to be truly "wide" which is what I was looking for. . .loose around the toes and easy to slip on and off; these are more 'shoe-like' and are kinda gramma like (part of that is due to the color I chose). Thanks Zappos for making this so easy!!

The first pair I received smelled fishy after wearing only an hour. I kept smelling this odor, so I washed them and air dried. Still fishy. I wrote Zappos they sent new pair. These are perfect.

After reading the reviews stating the slippers ran small I ordered two pairs-one size 7 1/2 half and one size 8. They were both too big. I am returning them and hoping the size 7 fits. They look as though they will be very comfortable if they fit and do not slide on the heel.

The fit was probably nearest to what I need, but I would have liked a bit more support and do normally wear orthotics (permanently placed) in two pairs of sandals, However, separate orthotics can also be purchased. They would not fit in this slipper nor any other slipper on the market. Meanwhile, an extra padding can be purchased at the local pharmacy and am planning on purchasing them. This will help make the slippers more comfortable.

I really like these slippers, but unfortunately, I take a size 11M women's and really needed an 11.5 in these. Size 11 just fit, with my big toe pressing against the front. I wanted to wear socks with these to keep my tootsies warm in the cold New York months, and no way could I fit into these in a size 11 with socks on. I ordered a replacement in a size 12W and they are too loose to wear barefoot, but just right with a nice, thick pair of socks. Overall, the materials are excellent. The uppers are made of nice, thick, sturdy quilted terry, and the soles are a good, heavy rubber that would stand up well for outdoor use as well. A nice plus if you need to go outside to grab a package off the porch or chase your dog up the street (been there, done that). The inner sole is very comfortable, lined in the same soft terry as the uppers, and gives good support while cushioning your foot. It's memory foam so it conforms to the shape of your foot. I only wish they came in a half size larger than my usual size. I also wish they came in more colors - I like a nice, bold burgundy or a deep hunter green. But ah well.

At first I wasn't too sure about these - but they are great for the stairs (no slipping), and feet won't sweat either like some furry type slippers. They are smart looking, the blue band over the top has a slight satin look to it in person (nice touch). Comfortable - can wear with/without sock. Has some support, so can walk around the house and do things in them; not feeling the floor below too much. I'd rather see more of a memory foam that the claim says - not much memory foam, kind of hard by the ball of foot (not cushiony). But if this starts to stretch out over time, I'll just switch out the inserts for a memory foam one. I'd recommend these.

I liked almost everything about them but I have a high arch and even though I ordered wide, the top satin band was too tight so I am returning them.

Order up a half size. I am 7 1/2 and ordered 8 fit perfect. Not real cushy but very comfortable and can walk briefly outside with them.

Small toe box.

Slippers felt a half to almost a full size smaller. The toebox is a very narrow but I will keep them home early they will stretch a bit. Ordered a 10 and an 11. I normally wear a 10 and 11 is may be a little snug also.

I was really hoping for more arch support. There is some cushioning but it’s really not arch support. They are comfortable and I will be able to wear them for short periods around the house. They do have a waterproof sole of somewhat.

Loved style and color but normally I wear a 9 and the toe box felt just a teeny bit tight. Ordered 1/2 size up and they were too large. Can't win this time. Negatives: smell of rubber and the name brand sewn in tag in heel of shoe felt sticky with each stride.

This is the second black pair I have ordered. I thought my first pair ordered was a mistake, but my second order arrived and they are the same. THE BLACK FOAMTREADS CODDLES ARE NOT BLACK! They are grey with a black bank over the instep, a black stripe up the heel and a black edge just above the sole. The body of the shoe is grey. I have had these slippers in the past and the black ones were as pictured -- all black. I'm returning them. They also felt wider than normal.

A nice slipper overall, but much more of a heel and heavier than I expected. I prefer flatter slippers and without the extra weight of the thicker sole.

These shoes were nice for slippers and light. I thought they ran a little small and didn't have that cozy feeling. If you are planning in wearing with socks, best to size up.

I had high hopes for this slipper -- it is something that can be worn year round and I especially liked the fact that the sole had some substance and some tread, so no slipping on stairs. However, it on one foot it felt great -- extremely comfortable but on the other foot it was too big/wide. Undone once again by my narrow and hard-to-fit feet.

I have been buying foamtreads for years and this is the first time I have had trouble with their slippers. I have this pair and decided it needed to be replaced. When I tried to wear the new pair, they kept slipping off my heels. On inspection, I noticed that the back design is different than my old pair. Has a ribbon on seam and is slightly shorter than old pair. Hope this isn't happening to their other designs, because I would hate to have to find another brand.

These are really nice and seem to have good support which is why I purchased them. They do however, run small. I am a 9.5 - 10 always and the 10 was small. My toe was right up against the edging. I am exchanging for a size 11 which is such a strange number to me. Hopefully that will do it.

Ordered sz 7.5W. Was quite tight all over-felt more like sz 6.5 or 7. Toe hits end. Tried 8W which is also too tight & short. Trying 8.5W if available.

The slipper is well constructed. It did not fit & am returning it. I wear an 8 wide, have bunions. This slipper is quite small & narrow compared to Easy Spirit Traveltime shoes that I usually order.

I received 8 W (wide). They looked like a MEDIUM, but had 8 W on tab and on box and felt like Medium on my feet. However, too narrow for me; had to return. No WW available. Foamtreads Coddles.

Length feels slightly small, not really a half-size smaller, but if you are between sizes, order the larger. Sole width feels smaller than marked, but material gives enough to allow for stretching. Not worth returning since I plan to keep these as house wear only.The foam cushioning feels thin and cheap. If I had paid more for it, I would definitely return them. Will still look for something that I can wear inside but still use walk outside to get the mail.

Loved the look of the shoe. It just wasn't right for my foot.
