These boots are great. The only problem I have is that they come in whole sizes. I wear an 8 1/2 but I ordered the 9. They are a little bit loose but OK with fairly thick socks. Otherwise, this boot is very warm and comfortable. They're not super tall so they may not be great for deep snow. They should be good for most of the Boston winter weather.

Excellent shoe. Lightweight and not too bulky. I would recommend this boot to anybody. I brought the charcoal 2 pair. It came with two color laces, one was a raspberry red and the other one was charcoal. I replace the charcoal lace with the raspberry red lace for a more feminine contrast. The charcoal is a lot darker than the one shown on Zappos. I haven't tried it out in the snow yet, so I don't know how waterproof it is, but it is warm nonetheless. I will update late after I wear it out in the snow.

I bought these for my mother as a Christmas present and she absolutely loves them. She wanted winter boots that were warm, easy to get in/out of, waterproof, and not cumbersome and the Brooklyns met all her requests. My mother is one of those people who if even a moderate amount of effort is required in putting on shoes, will refuse to wear them. That said, she wanted something that she can slip into quickly and easily in the mornings when taking the dog out for a walk or when shoveling the driveway. She loved that the Brooklyns are not as heavy and bulky like the more fortified snow boots out there (I have the Columbia Bugaboot Plus II XTM and the Ugg Adirondeck II and she considers those way too burdensome). The Brooklyns are relatively lightweight and according to her, they are like wearing taller house slippers. Basically, these boots do not give much arch or ankle support. The shaft is very soft and flexible but that was what she wanted. Also, it may be worthy to note that I ordered the charcoal color and it came with only one pair of gray laces. I read that some people received two pairs (apparently the second pair should be pink?) so I called Zappos to check if these boots are indeed supposed to come with two. They could not confirm it but as a testament to their amazing customer service, the representative credited some money back to my credit card, which he said I could maybe use to buy laces at REI or some other place. What a nice gesture!

These are amazing boots. I have owned a pair for about five years and they are still going strong. They look great, and are holding together wonderfully. I live in Northwest Wisconsin and we get some brutal winters up here (today the high temperature is -4°!). These boots keep my feet perfectly warm and dry. I can be out in the snow in negative temps for hours and my feet never get cold. I am a person who gets cold easily (I always have cold hands) but these boots are warm. If you need warm, waterproof, comfortable boots that will last a long time - get these boots! I did put an insert in them for additional arch support. I love these boots.

I am living in Moscow, Russia for a year. As you can probably imagine, snow is serious business over here. It's been snowing for a week solid, and my boots have held up well. They are waterproof and sturdy. The bottoms grip nicely to the snow, and give some traction on ice. I still step with caution on my way down stairs, but I haven't been slipping around too much. It's a quality product, and they are very fashion friendly over here. (I bought them in black.) I did add arch supports to them to add more support.

These are now my go to winter boots. I got them specifically for my trip to Alaska and they were great. We walked all over town and went on some hikes in hip deep snow, and I never had a issue with them, and they look great with jeans tucked in.

I love these boots! They are very very warm! My feet are always cold and in -15 weather my feet were still warm!

This boot is waterproof, comfortable, and warm. Honestly, a little too warm. My feet were sweating within 5 minutes of being indoors. That being said, they're great outdoors!

I bought these boots just in time for a snow storm in Boston. They kept my feet nice and warm. I walked through about 7 inches of snow and didn't feel a thing. Walked through slush, and my feet stayed nice and dry. They are pretty lightweight too. They go well with leggings or skinny jeans.

I couldn't recommend these boots more. I have wasted so much money on boots over the years only to find that they do not keep my feet warm enough due to Reynaud's Syndrome. These are the first that I was able to be outside in the cold, wet Bavarian winter for hours, with only one pair of thin socks, and still feel very comfortable and warm. These boots are also comfortable enough to walk miles in, which I do each day to and from my daughter's school (between 2 and 4 miles each day). I had hoped to find "cuter" boots that ticked all the boxes, but honestly, that requirement meant nothing to me once I tried these on. And they're not terrible to look at, just a little plain. But again, the fact that I can walk miles in the snow and feel comfortable and warm makes them a winner. A note about the waterproofing that another reviewer mentioned. After just over one season, this happened to mine as well and I was so disappointed because I love them so much. I contacted Kamik and they responded immediately. I am awaiting a new pair. I can't say enough about their customer service. I was a fan of the product and would have been inclined to try other products of theirs because of that. But now they have a loyal, life-long customer because of their product and excellent customer service. They actually seem to care that their customers are happy and that their products are holding up. Sadly, this mentality seems to be dying out with companies, so I think it's even more reason to support companies that still believe in standing by their product and their customers.

I bought these because I was looking for some new boots for the snow. I normally take an 8.5 so I figured that I would get a size 9. They arrived the literally the next day, and when I tried them on, they were way too large. So I immediately sent them back and ordered the size 8, since they didn't come in half sizes. I received the new shipment in the size 8 today and they fit perfectly!!!! They are also very warm!!!! Very pleased with the purchase!!!

Received my boots 2 days after ordering. Really great looking boots. I purchased the white, but they are definitely more of an off white. I wore them for the first time in the Poconos on Saturday. Snow on the ground and temperatures below 10 degrees. After about an hour walk, my feet were never cold. In fact, they actually felt heated. I would definitely recommend.

These are great. I ordered a pair of Uggs, 2 pair of Sorels, a pair of EMUs and these to see which ones I wanted to keep. We are moving to Nebraska, so I need a few pair of warm boots. This was the most comfortable pair by far. The Emus and Uggs were comfy too, but just not true to size so I may re-order those. The Sorels were too heavy.

Bought them for my daughter for Christmas as she wanted boots with some color, not just black. These are a nice deep cranberry color. They seem well made. I hope she likes them!

This boot I can't review properly, because I couldn't get my foot in it. I wear a 5/5 wide and can never find that size (ALSO high instep) so I ordered a 6 medium. I could not get my foot into this boot.

This boot is cute on, and very cozy, but it's short in the toe area. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8, so I thought I'd be safe with an 8, but my toes push against the front of the boot. I'm about to try a 9, since there are no half sizes, but I'm not optimistic. Too bad!

This is a really cute winter boot. However, if you're one of those people who thinks that she has "big feet" - and my gal pals out there know what I'm talking about - then this may not be the boot for you. It has a longer front that tends to accentuate the length of the foot. It also has a wider foot bed (very comfortable) which makes your foot look wider, as well. All that said, I ordered a 9 - which is my normal size - and that seemed a bit roomy for me (despite having a medium to medium wide foot) both in length and width. This is, nonetheless, a very cute, comfortable and warm winter boot - just didn't work for me so it will be going back. I so wanted it to work.

Very comfortable. Super smooshy inside yet has structure, so good for long walks. Keeping it and crossing my fingers that it stays dry in the snow (looks like it will and tag says waterproof). I ordered a half size up and it fit perfectly.

Love these! But returning for next size up. I'm a typical 8, but need 8.5 to wear anything other than thin socks...and at that, these are kind of tight.

I do not own a car and rely on my own two feet to navigate Anchorage, Alaska all throughout the winter - and I absolutely love these boots. That should speak for itself! If you're typically a half size, I would recommend ordering the whole size smaller, not larger. I am an 8½, and I tried on a 9 in a local store and they were just way too big. The sales associate recommended thick socks, but this was way beyond that. So I ordered the 8 off Zappos and they felt way too snug. But by then, winter had started and I needed these boots to work! So I wore them around town for a few days and voilà, perfectly comfortable! They fit like a dream. I looked high and low for boots that lace like these do - with laces you can actually pull snug with just a simple tug on the top laces. The bottoms provided great traction all winter through snow and slush. They come to about mid-calf on me, which is just perfect for the deep snowfall we get. The only complaint I have is the waterproofing. They are not entirely waterproof. Through snow and slush they were perfect, but the first time I stepped in a puddle of melt my socks were wet. It looks like the water got in where the fabric of the boot is attached to the rubber sole in the front. It is a bummer, but as long as you are not regularly trudging through 4" of water like I was that night, you should be alright! Overall, these are high quality boots that are sturdy and will hold up to a winter pedestrian lifestyle. They are worth the money!

I'd been looking for a pair of vegan boots that were warm and comfortable, and these fit the bill. They only sell whole sizes, so mine are a tad big, but I wear 2 socks and they are fine. I've worn them on several long walks and my feet were warm and comfortable.

I ordered these for a snowmobiling/ play in the snow boot. I never tried them outside so I'm not sure how they are in the snow. I just thought they seemed thin, like they wouldn't be very warm and my feet are always cold so i wanted a really warm boot. I read a lot of good reviews about them but didn't want to chance it. I'm returning them and ordering the Sorel Joan of Arctic ll and Baffin Snogoose 09 since I think these both look more like the serious snow boots I'm after and both got really good reviews. I'll try them and see, and send the loser back. This was my first order from Zappos but I will definitely order from here again, FREE 1 day shipping? Awesome. I ordered Monday at 11am and when I got home from work Tues at 4pm they were on my step. I ordered today so am hoping tomorrow afternoon I will have them so I can go snowmobiling in them. :)

Love these boots. Came to me looking exact to picture, only downside my white laces were pretty yellowed but easily replaceable if need be. Size fit comfortably and very sturdy boot. Warm and stylish also! Has good traction on sole.
