These are extremely comfortable boots (at least while I wear them in my house) and the fit is perfect. It seems like practical yet stylish boots and they would be great for a lot of city walking. They look great with leggings, jeans, dresses, whatever! The toe box area fits securely but not tightly.

Wow and this boot exceeded my expectations! It's well-made and super pretty. The slight platform gives a little height too, which is nice. I would buy this boot again. Oh, and the suede is treated so it's water/stain resistant!

These are the best boots ever. I now have them in 2 different colors and I wear them all the time. I don't wear high heels much any more but these are so comfortable. And they are waterproof. I highly recommend.

Awesome shoes! I have never spent so much on a pair of shoes, but I couldn't resist after all the positive reviews. I'm so glad I purchased these shoes! I wore them on a business trip to NYC and walked miles in these with no issues. The boot is snug around the ankle, which is also great for extra stability and support. Someone with a thicker ankle might find them too tight, but they are perfect for me.

This is my second pair of boots from La Canadienne, and I felt compelled to share a review since I rely on them so much. These boots are so comfortable right out of the box - I can't say enough good things about them. Great to wear to work - very stylish and perfect for winter.

This is a fabulous boot and so incredibly comfortable. I wear them to work every day and no pain. I have arthiritis in my feet and these are among the only boots with heels that I can wear without thinking about them! They are sexy too!

This boot is fantastic! I own 3 pairs of La Canadienne boots and they all were worth every penny! My feet are narrow and I have tried on hundreds of boots and none fit until I tried this brand. I will never buy another brand again! These boots are really stylish and surprisingly pretty comfortable for the heel height. I want to buy them in black too!

These are very true to size and super comfortable. Definitely for someone with slimmer legs/ankles as I imagine they would be too tight on thicker calves/ankles. The heel is pretty high but the platform makes them very comfortable. Extremely chic and stylish and the shape is very flattering to the foot. Nice suede, high quality construction. I've bought several pairs of La Canadienne's and never been disappointed.

I LOVE these boots. Very comfortable and stylish. I love having a boot I do not have to rush to get off my feet. The price was higher than I wanted to spend, but worth it. Warm, stylish and comfortable.

I have problems finding comfortable shoes and these are certainly comfortable. The suede gives it enough stretch so my toes don't feel constricted. The toe box has enough room to fit my inserts and heavier socks. The sole has a slight platform giving extra cushioning for walking. Oh, I don't want to forget- these are SO flattering and stylish.

These boots are amazing! Very comfortable to walk in, and very well-made. The difference between the quality here (they're made in Canada) and almost everything else you get these days is pretty ridiculous. They do seem to run 1/2 size too large, though; I'm usually a size 6 and the 5.5 fits me perfectly.

I love these boots; in fact, I have just ordered my third pair. My great fear is that La Canadienne will discontinue the style! I teach in Alaska, and I often wear these boots for 12 hours a day--and they remain comfortable with ideal support. I have walked through Paris, upon the Normandy beaches, and up the many steps of Mont St. Michel in these boots; they never faltered, nor did I. In fact, these boots are the best quality, and I think the price is great. I have found; these boots have saved me a great deal, for instead of buying five pairs of boots, I buy just one.

I have ordered several pairs but all of the circumference around the top is super tight. I am petite girl. I have sent back size 4½, 5, and 5½, etc. I really want to buy these shoes but the circumference at the mid-calf are all the same size!? Boo!

Just received these yesterday and I have to agree - they seem perfect! I ordered them in a size 10 and they were roomy - not a true half size bigger, but didn't cramp my toes. They look adorable and will be perfect during the Jersey winter. I plan on wearing them with work clothes mostly, but could see rocking them with jeans on the weekend.

Kate is a beautiful boot and very well made It's too bad it does not come in a wide width I ordered 9.5 to try to compensate for wide foot I normally wear 8.5 or 9 in wide or WW I contemplated returning as the boot is not comfortable. Very narrow seemed narrower than a medium, little padding in foot bed and no arch support. I really liked the style and boot went on sale a few days after I purchased saving additional money so I decided to keep. I ended up taking to a cobbler to be stretched and have about a quarter to half inch taken off the heel which helped relieve pressure on front of foot. While not comfortable for long periods or a lot of walking its bearable Difference in height not noticeable I am 5 ft 8 and wanted heel more for style I don't recommend this for those with wide or flat feet or but if you have a narrow foot and want a great looking boot Good option Zappos as always is great to deal with.

The boots were very comfortable and the heel is a nice height and works well with pants. But I wanted a short ankle waterproof boot that I could also wear with dresses and skirts (so I wouldn't have to change out of my snow boots when going out to dinner after work), and ultimately I felt the toe was too boxy and the shaft a little too high (I'm 5'4") to be attractive enough to keep, particularly at this price point. I'm returning and on the hunt again for a waterproof elegant boot. I'm looking at some of the taller La Canadienne boots which might be better.

I ordered the similar (but taller) Kara, and loved those so much that I decided to get these as well. However, I'm pretty short, and the shaft on these boots was too tall for me. My calves start to curve out just where the top of these boots are, which makes for a tight, uncomfortable fit at the top. The shoe part itself feels perfect and very comfortable, and the heel height is also just right. I'm sure the top may stretch out, but given my height, I also feel the shaft would be too tall to wear with skirts - it just looks weird. I'm returning them and getting the Milas instead - which I tried on at the store, and the height of the shaft is perfect for a shorter person.

La Canadienne makes great quality boots but these boots made my feet really hot, probably because of the lining, and they have no arch support whatsoever. They are also big in the foot, yet tight in the leg, which looks okay, and yet they still appear stodgy because the toe box is round, not almond.

Loved the boots until one of the heel plates fell off 13 months after purchase. Since they are boots I had only worn them over a period of maybe 6 months since I purchased them. Very disappointing. I've never had a heel plate fall off of any pair of shoes I've purchased let alone a pair at this price!
