I can't believe this comfortable a boot looks so good! Perfect for the office or walking around the city. All that and weatherproof, too? Perfection.

Love them!!! Finally an attractive waterproof boot. Comfort from the first step!

I received these ankle boots last week and absolutely them! Very comfortable, well made, and easy to wear. I generally have comfort issues with shoes/boots due to long toes that are sensitive. These boots feel wonderful. I have worn them around the house for hours with no problem. I cannot wait for fall!

I am very happy with these boots! As always, La Canadienne boots run true to size for me; the 8.5 always fit. These are comfortable for a higher-heeled boot. They are great as a bit dressier alternative with pants during the fall and winter. They are keeping my feet warm and dry.

An Excellent Boot! These short boots are expensive, but worth every penny. They are both stylish & extremely comfortable for walking. I haven't worn them in the winter yet, but the weatherproofing should enable me to wear them three seasons out of four up here in the NE. I highly recommend these boots. I rated them only 4 stars for comfort because I've experienced a little chafing of the toes against the side of the boot, but I haven't totally broken them in yet, & I have literally walked miles in them already, so I wouldn't hold this against them!

No regrets - Very versatile boot that goes well with dress pants, skirts or jeans. Perfect in winter weather as feet stay warm and dry. You definitely get what you pay for. No regrets.

Amazingly comfortable, given that I do not normally wear heels this high.

These boots are so cute and I wanted to love them, but alas I had two issues with them. The arch did not fit my arch so it was sort of painful to wear them, even with insoles in place. The second issue is that I slid all over the place on my tile floors with these on while trying to walk. I am doubtful that these would keep me on my feet if I were to hit a patch of ice. Others may have had success but I was not willing to risk it therefore these are very sadly going back and my quest for shorter winter boots continues. I normally wear a 7½ in a heel this height but ordered these in an 8 based on other reviews. They were loose enough to wear with a medium to thick sock which would have been perfect for winter. It is a nice heel height for pants. I have a foot with long toes and toes that are slightly wider than the heel.

Very comfortable. Has narrow calves, which is hard to find. I could wear these boots with a skirt. Decided to return because I think a shorter boot would be more flattering for my legs.

Although these boots are very comfortable, they were a little too wide for me. These lots of give so, if you have a wide foot this boot is for you.

I loved the cushioning in the soles. Loved that they're supposed to be waterproof. True to my size 10. Probably run a bit wide because they fit me. My complaints are that they're lined in something that doesn't breathe (possibly how they're waterproof) so in just trying them on my feet got hot. Additionally the opening around your ankle is very small. I don't have particularly big ankles but it was snug. Snug enough that between that and the fact that they were hot, I have to send them back. Will definately try another from this brand though! Cushioning was fantastic!

This is what I think about Lacanadienne: I bought this boot, and as you can see, cheap it's not. When I wore it, the heel sole felt very slippery, however I decided to keep it and went to a cobbler. He plucked the sole and showed me that it's a cheap plastic piece, and replaced it. I decided to write Lacanadienne about it, and that's the reply I got: "Thank you for your email.The Kate boot is a lovely model but not one from our selection with a good tread. We have other models like the Marla ,Malin or even the Milanya. Not all of our boots offer the same function. When asked, we try to determine the customer s needs before suggesting a certain model." Well, well, well, in "translation" they mean that the $305.00 Kate is made of poor quality; it's "lovely", but not of "good tread". Just for this ridiculous answer I decided never to buy this brand.It's just unbelievable. As for Zappos: I wrote them about it, they gave me a coupon and apologized, but it's absolutely not their fault. Thank you, Zappos. Dalia

I've been looking for boots for a couple of years and after trying on several La Canadienne boots, I finally settled on these. These fit better than the other styles by this same brand although I had to go up 1/2 size to get a good fit. While these are comfortable for the most part, my pinkie toes really start hurting in these after a few hours. The heel is very comfortable and I thought that would be the part of my foot that would hurt in these but the heel feels great. I am going to try and put in some padding on the toe area and see if that helps me wear these longer. These look great and I am happy with them but just wish I could wear them all day everyday.

I want more of these. I am sold on this brand. Durable, gorgeous, stylish, and most importantly, comfortable even for walking. I am amazed, really. I absolutely love them. I am usually a 7½ and I ordered the 8 based on reviews. That is definitely the thing to do.

I agree with other reviews. These boots are comfortable, attractive and just different enough to make them more special. Because the ankle is a bit more fitted than most, they can be worn with black tights and almost look like a continuous boot. I am so glad that I added them to my cart.

These are pricey...and super comfy and probably worth it! Fit is awesome from first wearing. Not tight but fitted with a bit of room at the top and my leg at that point is 11 1/4 inches where it hits. I have a wider toe box and this was great. I love these. Happy Xmas to me.

I may wear them in the summer, too. Perfect fit, with enough room in the toe for reasonable winter socks. I love how snug around the ankles they are. This makes them feel supportive, and does not interfere with straight/slim leg pants. So beautiful. Everything about them is right.

These boots are phenomenal, felt amazing from the first wear and I love the shape. I have another pair of Canadienne's that just keep holding up season after season. Seriously considering buying a second pair!

Love these boots! I have a narrow foot, with a high arch and these fit great. Extremely comfortable! You can wear them all day right out of the box. Look great I did find them a little tight around the ankle, but that works for me. I guess I wouldn't suggest these if you have thick ankles. They look great with jeans and dressy. Worth every penny.

Absolutely love these boots. Was hesitant because of price but I have flat feet, torn knee cartilage and general pain and was fed up with trying different brands (Frye, Naya, Born, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Naturalizer etc) and feeling discomfort after a few wears. I live in New York and my feet did not hurt after walking close to 30 blocks. They were a little snug around the ankles which needed getting used to but that actually helped keep my foot in place for a sturdier fit. They are also very slimming yet have room to wiggle your toes. The height is perfect and doesn't feel like you're wearing heels. For reference, I don't usually wear heels because I find them uncomfortable but these are actually more comfortable than my flats.

A beautiful, comfortable boot, but I had to choose between this one and another La Canadienne style. Sigh. This brand has the most WALKABLE high heel boots I've ever worn.

These boots are great. That they are waterproof is a bonus. They are beautiful and comfortable to wear, rain or shine. I normally don't like such a high heal, but this heel is not thin, making the boot easy to walk in.

I have 7 pairs of La Canadienne boots...never have I been disappointed! They are remarkable from the first time you put them on. No matter what style, form dressy to casual they feel like slippers right out of the box. Just got these in time to wear for Thanksgiving thanks to Zappos amazing service, ordered Tues, received on Wednesday! WOW! Also always true to size, I ordered a 6 1/2 my regular size and they fit perfect. Thanks Again ZAPPOS and LA CANADIENNE!

These boots are so comfortable yet sexy looking. A really high quality product. I wear them with jeans, black dress pants and long skirts. Pricey but worth it. I'm expecting them to last several years!
