This is a very nice and comfortable boot. I have had many Santana boots in the past and know they run short and narrow. In order to accommodate for an orthotic insert I ordered a wide and it turned out perfect. There is a break in period required for this boot to feel comfortable. (And they are 100% waterproof.

Great crossover shoe - I loved this shoe. I have severe pronation but don't have to wear my thin orthotics with this style, probably because it laces all the up and just over the ankle, giving me lots of stability. It looks good with any of my pants and is fairly warm. The side zip is convenient so I'm not constantly lacing and unlacing them. I'm thinking of getting another couple of pairs so I won't have to search for comfortable shoes for a few years.

Very narrow boots even in wide. I have a very small foot usually wear 5.5 or 6 boots and I ordered the 6 in the wide and they were so narrow. I had to send them back. They are a great looking boot and the fact they are waterproof is even better. To bad they are made so narrow.
