Santana Boots - These boots are great. They are very comfortable and the inside zipper makes them very easy to take off. My foot is on the narrow side and these boots fit perfectly.

Great boots in all ways - These boots are so attractive, fit well (I followed others' advice and asked for 1/2 size larger than usual since they are narrow) and the leather is superb quality.

Great boot!! I am extremely pleased with this pair of boots. The first day I wore them all day at work and they were very comfortable. The leather upper is very soft. Be sure to order them 1/2 size bigger than usual. I have fairly narrow feet and the medium width was perfect.

Santana Hazel - This is a beautiful boot and very comfortable, feel snuggly. I need to replace a pair of boots that closed with a tie, and these fit the bill. Additionally, they also have the advantage of having a zipper, so they are much easier to put on and take off. I normally wear a size 9.5, and so I purchased a size 10, and I am very glad I did. This is my third pair of Santana (Canada) boots, and obviously, I am sold on them.

Narrow feet love it - So hard to find great, reasonably priced boots that run narrow -- these are the boots for me! I also ordered a 1/2 size larger.

Great boot! Great winter boot! Solid construction, warm, and comfortable. I recommend ordering a half-size up and in wide (they tend to be narrow).

Once You Get the Right Fit...Yummy - Had to go up a 1/2 size and had to go up from Med width to Wide...but once I got the fit, they are very comfortable and "stylin".

Great Boot - I ordered this item from Zappos on Tuesday and received it on Wednesday!! This is a high quality boot...great looking, soft and comfortable. I'm glad I followed the advice of other testimonials, however, and ordered a 1/2 size larger in wide. I can feel the leather stretching already but my regular size & width would have been too snug.

Great quality, beautiful leather & a comfortable boot - The leather was surprisingly soft and buttery -- really excellent quality. I agree with other reviewers that anyone who doesn't have a really narrow foot should order their shoe size in a wide width. If you're planning to wear thick socks with this boot, then order a half size up. I was very pleased with the quality of the workmanship, the leather, and the overall slightly edgy, slightly Victorian look of the boot. I've been wearing this around town to wear it in a little; the toe box feels a tiny bit tight, but the length of the boot is right, so I didn't want to go a half size up. I'm planning to wear this to work so I'll be wearing it with tights (not socks.) I think this will look great with winter skirts, suits, pants, and even dresses. It's a finely crafted boot so it doesn't look too sporty for a long-skirted dress. I just wish it were a little wider in the foot; I normally take a medium width, and I ordered the wide based on reviews, but I still feel it's a tiny bit too tight. This boot is well worth the investment. I'm sure I'll be wearing it for years, especially in our typically wet, icy winters!

Heed their advice! A lot of the reviews here say these boots are narrow. They are! I ordered in my regular size and a size larger (there were no "Wides" available). Both were *much* too small. My foot, which is not wide (I normally wear a regular width shoe or boot) was pushed up and you could see the outline of it through the leather. Nice boot - but too narrow.

Santana's Hazel - I just replaced my last pair after 10+ years of frequent wear. They are warm and comfortable. The new style is a bit lower in the toe and more square and have a zipper. Think I'll have the "big toe" area stretched upward a bit by the cobbler. These are a great choice for those with narrow feet.

Great quality - These are very nice shoes: they look good and felt very comfortable. I am a 5.5 and although only 6 was available, it fit me well.

This is the third pair of Santana Hazel shoes that I have bought. They last many, many years and I actually needed a new pair partly because my feet grew 1/2 size longer. They are the only shoes that really keep my feet warm in this cold winter climate where I live. Otherwise, I may have to wear warm clumsy looking boots all the time. I have narrow feet and am able to adjust the laces for good fit. I prefer wearing them with pants. They are a wonderful choice. This latest pair features a side zipper as well as the laces. This makes it easy when putting these shoes off and on. Buy them at Zappos for great service.

These boots rock! These boots are great! They look fabulous and they are really comfortable; great for walking. Definitely get a half size larger than you usually buy.

Santana's Hazel - This is not my first experience with Santana, I had a couple of pair (which I wore out) back in the early 90s. What I like about them is that they look nice, but they're very warm. On advice of reviewers I ordered the wide and half size bigger -- and they fit great except they're a bit long in the toe. Not sure if the wide but a half size smaller would have worked. Probably should have ordered and tried both!

Can’t get enough of this boot - This is my 3rd pair of this particular boot. - The others are still in fine shape; I have one pair in red and wanted a second, new black pair to save for dressier occasions since they're versatile. This newer update of the boot, containing the zipper, is smaller than my other two pair. I ordered the same size as I originally have, 7M, and had to send them back for a 7W as the 7M in the updated boot is too narrow. I would recommend, then, to get either a size larger or size wider if you've got anything other than a narrow foot. As always, Zappos was terrific on service and returns.

Nice looking and comfy boot - These boots were great for me. They have a slight "military" look to them, in that they are sharp looking, but I like that. They are *almost* too small, but just not, and that makes my feet look small. I don't hesitate to wear these when I am doing a lot of walking.

Santana Hazel Boots - My boots just arrived and they fit very like a dream right out of the box. They do run somewhat small so after reading the reviews I ordered half a size up. I bought the brown and probably should have bought the black instead. The brown is just brown - not a rich brown - but it is nice and dark and looks great with jeans. The lining will keep my feet warm on the coldest days and since they're waterproof they will be wearable during our slushy winters.

Santana waterproof lace-up boots - A pair of similar Santana boots lasted me 6 or 7 North Country winters, but finally wore out. These have a side zipper (which I don't use) but are otherwise the same. I was thrilled to find them! Following Zappos advice, I ordered a half size up (doubtfully). The shoes arrived THE NEXT DAY and fit perfectly. Wow!

Comfortable but still stylish - I have knee problem and it is not easy to find good shoes that don't hurt. I normally wear Dansko or sneakers because if I wear something different, I get pain. I was looking for nice pair of shoes with more style. This is perfect boots for me because it is very comfortable, warm, easy to put them on, and still looks very classic and stylish. From the day 1, this feels great. Leather is soft and very good quality. But this brand seem run small. I had to order one size up and fit perfectly.

Best Winter Boots Ever! These are waterproof (mine have lasted for years), and nice looking, and easy to put on. Even walking from car to store my feet used to get wet and cold, but not with these. Love them! Love Santana products!

Gorgeous boot - I received these boots today, and I'm afraid they run a little small. But I must say: they are absolutely beautiful and stylish. I felt a little like Cinderella's step-sister, because I wanted them to fit perfectly. I had to send them back because the size was too small.

Not as wonderful as in years past. While the fit is certainly good, these do not have the custom made feel of the two pairs I have that were Canadian made. The style is slightly less attractive and the materials also seem to be somewhat lower in quality than my last pair. While I will surely get much use from these boots I doubt that I will truly treasure them as much as I did my last pair of Hazels.
