I purchased these shoes for ZUMBA. This is the best exercise shoe I have in my closet. I would recommend this shoe to everyone. I even use them for everything, but running. I purchased them a 1/2 size larger because I buy my athletic shoes a 1/2 size larger. It gives you room to move.

I love these shoes for Zumba, they are light weight and are perfect for that type of exercising. I wish I would have read more reviews before I ordered them though. Everyone said to order a half size larger and I ordered then read. Mine are a little tight. I am hoping with wear they will give a little!!! Love them!!!

I bought these for my Jazzercise class and they are PERFECT! I love them! I can’t imagine doing Jazzercise in anything else. It took me a couple of classes to break them in... they burned the bottoms of my feet really bad at first... but by the second time I wore them, they were VERY COMFORTABLE. I’m very happy with this shoe and with ZAPPPOS! After I made my order, they were delivered in 2 days! That is perfect for me, because when I want something, I want it RIGHT NOW! I wear a 9 or 9 1/2 depending on the shoe, so I ordered a 9 1/2 and they fit great.

Love this shoe - the style and fit. I'm a fitness instructor and have found these shoes great for Cardio Kickboxing and balance training as well (lateral support). I've had many class participants ask about my shoes. :) I like my shoes on the snug side so I ordered my lower regular size (I usually fit a 9.5-10) so a 9.5 works great.

I ordered these to wear for Jazzercise 3x a week. I’ve had them for 3 months and really love them. I especially like how durable the support for the ball of the foot has been. They were a little stiff at first, but after 3 uses, they felt great. Great shoe for a reasonable price. A half size up was perfect for me.

As a Zumba instructor, I was very motivated to try this shoe after other instructors’ recommendations. When I noticed it was on sale at Zappos, I couldn’t wait to try it. I first ordered an 8 because some of the reviews said they ran true to size. I got a little "hot spot" on the ball of my foot while teaching, so I returned them for an 8.5 and couldn’t be happier. They are very light-weight, comfortable & supportive, yet still provide a great pivoting surface. I got the gray ones and love them. Now I’m thinking I might need the black ones, too. I recommend buying two sizes if you’re unsure. Try them on and return the pair you don’t want since Zappos pays for shipping (very easy/hassle free).

I read the reviews of these shoes and decided to order them. It was helpful to know they run a little small so I ordered a half-size larger, as other reviewers suggested. I am usually reluctant to order shoes by mail, but I couldn’t find what I needed in the stores in town. The shoes were as described, came very promptly, and fit perfectly. I am very pleased with the service, reviews (which helped me decide what to order), and with the ease of return of the second pair (in case these did not fit.)

I bought my firsst pair of Rykas on the recommendation of a friend. I needed a good pair of shoes to Jazzercise in. They are absolutely wonderful! However, I needed an extra 1/2 size larger than I normally wear.

I just purchased these shoes and I LOVE the fit and the mobility they allow at Jazzercise over the Nike brand I was wearing. WONDERFUL shoes! I have to admit that I was worried about the fit being small when I ordered, but I went with my gut and ordered my TRUE shoe size which is a 7 1/2. I found these shoes to fit completely true to size and SO glad that I didn't go a half size up like so many advised. Just make sure you are honest with yourself and order your true shoe size and you'll be glad you did!!

I bought these shoes specifically for zumba. I had done some research before to figure out which would be best and I have not been disappointed. I love them! They feel great and made pivoting and turns so much easier than regular gym shoes. Worth every penny.

I wear these shoes for Jazzercise classes. Jazzercise is a dance based class with a lot of twists, turns and being on your toes. I have a chronic plantar fasciitis problem and need to wear orthotic inserts; with these shoes I do not need the inserts. I wear a size 5 street shoe and normally order a 6 for athletic wear. The fit seemed a bit smaller than a NB size 6 more comparable to a Nike 6.

I really like these shoes. They are very light, good support for all of my various exercise classes ... even walking on the indoor track. I did go up 1/2 of a size and they fit great!

I love these sneakers. I use them mainly for working out, but I have used them for running errands. They're comfortable and they look sleek on the foot. I recommend them.

I bought these shoes for Zumba, and they are fantastic. Just the right amount of slip, very comfortable, and look great too. I did find once that the floor of the gym was too clean, and the shoes didn't slip as much as I'd like, so the next time I put some baby powder just on the front of the bottom of the shoes, and it worked great. You want the front of your shoe not to grip the floor too much for dancing so you don't throw out your knees when you twist. I like these shoes a whole lot.

These are great shoes. They fit, they're comfy, and look good. Plus they're really light which is nice.

These Ryka's were exactly what I was looking for. I got standard shipping and they arrived 2 days later! I ordered 1 size too large so reordered. They too arrived quickly and the exchange was made without any problems what-so-ever. Amazingly wonderful experience as always.

These are my 2nd pair of Ryka's Studio D shoes, and they are fantastic. I use them during Jazzercise classes and they offer the support and flexibility you need for aerobics and dance movements. They fit my foot like a glove!

I bought these for Jazzersice and they do the job I needed them to do! I am normally a size 7.5 but I got an 8 because of the reviews I read. It was a good choice because these shoes do run small. I like these because they are way cuter than a lot of the other aerobic shoes. I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

I ordered several Ryka to try at home. I have small feet so reading the reviews saying Ryka run small I was pleased that maybe I’d find shoes that are not too big. I ordered size 6 for all of them, except for this shoe, which I got in 5 1/2 because 6 was not in stock. I ordered a 6 for the Studio D Mid, which was too big. I am not a size 5 for sure and I have regular width size 5 1/2 feet and this shoe in 5 1/2 fit perfectly. I think I’m keeping this shoe. Looks great and great price. I haven’t tried it at gym yet. I just wanted to leave a comment that this one ran true to size. I did not find all the Ryka to run 1/2 size small like others wrote, but some were on the small side of size 6. Not this one.

Excellent shoe and even more excellent Zappos shopping experience! The cool grey shoe in my normal sneaker size 9 wasn't available so I ordered it in my street shoe size 8.5. Ordered late on Tuesday night and shoes arrived Friday in time for Zumba class - wow! It was very comfy right away and so stylish (got lots of compliments!). Never had a Ryka, this felt perfect for Zumba, supportive for high impact moves even with low profile sole, enough grip for lateral moves, allows smooth pivoting on the Latin dance moves - works much better, more "graceful" than my grippy cross trainers, without looking like those weird high heeled dance sneakers! It was a tad too small, but returning was SO easy, just logged the return online, printed the label, and dropped off in original package at the UPS store. I got notified that my size was available, then Zappos upgraded my free shipping - I can't be happier with my purchase and the service!

I LOVE these shoes! They are light weight and do what they're supposed to do...make me move easier without sticking to the floor when doing ZUMBA! I don't think it makes me learn the steps any easier but my knees don't hurt anymore after class because I have the right shoe!

These shoes are great!! I have been doing Jazzercise for over a year and started with normal running shoes. After about a month I bought these studio D Ryka shoes per recommendation from an instructor. They gave me excellent support (and I have higher arches), and were very comfortable for the high impact dancing. The only complaint that I have is that sometimes if I tie the laces too tight my toes will feel a little tingly and numb, but I just loosen the shoes and they are fine. I highly recommend these shoes for aerobic exercise/exercise dance!

I had purchased these shoes in the high-top style a couple of years ago. Got these and love them. The shoes are great for step and hip-hop. Fit true to size and plenty of support.

These shoes give excellent support and look good, too. Would recommend these for aerobic dancing. If you have wide feet, the width is true to size; however, the heel was a bit tight.

I can't praise the Ryka Studio D shoes enough! These are wonderful shoes that I use for exercise class. In Zumba you are constantly moving side to side and pivoting. I needed extra support for my sore feet and these shoes are the perfect fit. I usually wear a 7 but got a 7 1/2 so that there's room for my socks and my feet don't go numb.
